Update 8/26/23. They started featuring their own in-house Mexican focused pastries. We tried a selection to give them a try and they were all so amazing. So much care and detail goes into the pastries and the coffee drinks every time. They care about their craft! Coffee, pastries and art! Very cool vibe at this excellent coffee shop. They take a lot of pride in their drinks with high end ingredients and how they are prepared. Pastries are top notch to match the coffee and the art vibe gives you a cool space to hang out while enjoying your morning treats. Staff very attentive and friendly.

I don’t think coffee should be fast, but I also don’t think it should take over 15 minutes for one drink when there isn’t a soul in the place. It’s very pretentious which I was surprised to see here in Phoenix. Also, pretty hilarious considering they try and go for this Mexican aesthetic, which if you’re going for the hostile vibes you get at the border they nailed it. Coffee was good just good, but when there are rude workers who couldn’t care less about you and give you attitude when you ask questions and even answered them wrong, why deal with it? There are waayy better places in the area than this. By the way I am Latino in case you think this is disparaging. Also forget not wearing a mask if you’re fully vaccinated they don’t care.

Always a great experience. I love the detail put into each cup of coffee made. My fave- Iced Cajeta with Oat Milk.

As a coffee aficionado, Coffee was way too acidic. The employees did not greet or address us for 7 minutes since we entered despite there not being a line. Coffee cup had curse words written along with political signaling which is not very inclusive. Why can't we just all get along and focus on making good coffee?

Exceptionally balanced espresso today, tasty stone fruit. The non-coffee-crazy people in the crowd loved the mixed drinks and the art/design. Been here twice, 2 years apart. Both times excellent espresso. If you're a coffee crazy, definitely try Futuro

Great coffee shop with a modern clean feel. I saw the pictures online and immediately knew I had to go. White everywhere, concrete floors and counters; your modern coffee vibe. Something I like about this spot is they serve Heart coffee which is quality. Oat, coconut, and Almond milks available, and a very well made menu of mixed coffees. I’d definitely recommend going here and I’ll for sure be back. Plenty of seating to work as well!

Great place mixed in with an art gallery and a salon. They only do light roast which I usually dislike but theirs is consistently smooth, not sour, and tastes great. You can also find a selection of Marc Chacon's pastries here and they're amazing.

3 stars because we had to wait for 20 minutes for 1 Coffee, 1 Horchata, and pastry. They didn’t ask if it was to go or for dine-in. Also, prices are not listed. Overall, my coffee was good, but expensive ($23 for 3 items)

Best coffee in PHOENIX. Small place, not all seating comfortable. Pastry/dessert was so tasty & unique. Place is beautiful to walk a little bit. Staff were friendly.

I has the abeja latte with almond milk. It's a honey infused latte that is absolutely delicious. They served it at a perfect temperature so I didnt have to wait todrink it. Nice atmosphere with modern vibes. Definitely a great place to chat and hangout.

Honestly, one of the best coffee shops we have been to. We were visiting and found this after looking for a few places to try in Arizona. Top 5. Pastries were also delightful. The place is also set up and decorated nicely. LOVED the decor and dishes. Wish we didn’t live in another state. Would visit this place regularly.

The name of this spot says it all: it is modern, sleek, and bright in this cafe! I really love the design of the entire space and the best part is the EXCELLENT coffee! I got a signature honey latte and it was divine. Service was fast and the whole cafe is exceptionally clean. Futuro is in the middle of a great artsy district! Lots of beautiful and interesting street art. I really enjoyed my experience here!

Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. I will be back with my coworkers. The prices are good for what you get. I see why this place has so many great reviews.

It hits a vibe that is so good it's worth a 5, but I have to give it a generous 3. Honestly everything from presentation to general atmosphere was on point. That's the good part. ✨ However, the espresso was slightly under extracted for my taste (loved the glasses though), and they don't have decaf. Also, it was very expensive 🫰 for not that much quantity. Oh and I must say the baked goods were mega bomb too. 💣

The cortado and Jamaica were amazing but I felt like the environment was a bit sterile. It lacked that welcoming energy of coffee shops that makes you want to sit and linger. Our service was also ho hum and a bit lackluster. No smiles. No interest. Low projection of voice, almost a disinterested mumble. I definitely didn’t walk away feeling like I wanted to come back any time soon. And while the coffee really was good, the other factors are important as well.

This place is awesome. A friend that owns a coffee shop in Seattle told me about it. Coffee is great and definitely not your regular. Go there to be mind-blown! Didn't rate as full stars because it's takeout only!

Come in and enjoy one of few coffee shops that face fine art. I’ve been trying to come visit this place for sometime however the hours don’t help. Most great coffee spots close super early. I was lucky to make some time to visit on a Sunday. Arrived 45 mints before closing and was able to enjoy a iced coffee, and a cinnamon cake. Very enjoyable. Will make sometime to come early to enjoy the seating area.

Quick help, 5 minutes to arrange and to get my beverage. Taken a gander at the workmanship for a couple of moments while the beverage was made. I requested the abeja which accompanies nectar and it is exceptionally delicious! Sufficiently sweet however not overpowering… would return to attempt More!

Thoughtfully curated coffee, absolutely incredible. Very kind staff that happily explained menu. Clean space, covid conscious! It will be your new favorite shop!

Coffee is good, only small sizes though and the atmosphere is odd. Great if you’re an instagram model or something like that! Sign says they want to cultivate creativity but everything is white and plain? Interesting concept since there is a hair salon connected to it.

If you don't like coffee, go for the vibes. As the name says, it's very futuristic themed. This is such an interesting coffee shop, and I love that their coffee shares a message. I got the lechera & it was really bitter, but it was interesting. I probably wouldn't get it again, but she warned me before I got it. Check it out!

A wonderful little nook. Minimalist yet cozy and inviting. Perhaps my new favorite study stop. I had a marzipan latte and it was absolutely delicious! I will be showing my friends next time I visit

Ordered a dirty horchata, which was delicious and made from scratch in house! Quality ingredients were definitely noted. 3 stars was simply because the space was odd- small, inadequate seating, obnoxious layout, and overall bizarre vibe. I think ordering ahead and taking it to go would have improved my experience.

After trying many of the coffee shops in and around Phoenix, I have to say Futuro is one of my favourites. The decor and vibe is really chilled and the menu offers a great selection of unique coffee combos. The flavour of the coffee beans used in my latte were delicious! The pastries deserve a mention too!

A beautiful coffee shop with a great, cool vibe supporting local artists. We had a cortado, the lechera (condensed milk + piloncillo), and the horchata (which they steep for 24 hours and filter twice! - incredible, complex, floral). Staff was very thoughtful and knowledgeable. I'd easily come here every week if I lived in Phoenix!

Really cool spot for a cup of coffee. It’s a minimalist interior, matches the name of the cafe. The double espresso was spot on, and the service and presentation is a step up from other places I’ve been. The sparkling water served with the coffee is really the cherry on the icing on the cake. Been back twice in two days.

  • 5/5 Liliana A. 10 months ago on Google
This spot never fails! If you’re looking for a cute lil minimalist solo date, this place is it! Love dressing up and enjoying a well made cup of coffee. Staff is always friendly and my go to is the mazapan for something sweeter or the cajeta for something less sweet.

  • 4/5 Norm Z. 6 months ago on Google
Decent place. Got an espresso which was excellent. Grabbed a bag of coffee to bring with me, of which there was a very limited amount. The shop goes for a sparse feel and nails it. Not sure if this is a good thing. Service was fine, not friendly, not unfriendly. Sort of robotic & efficient which is odd considering nobody was in the shop. I'd go back. The beans I got were ok, not great. No pour-over is a negative for me as well.

Easily a 5 star establishment. My favorite coffee in PHX, has zero aftertaste, the smoothest coffee you’ll try. Drinks are creative yet simplistic as well as the pastries and all top notch. Where Futuro falls short is being consistently understaffed. Waiting 20-30 minutes for coffee gets old quick.

Amazing architecture, its a must-go for archi and coffee lovers. I got the americano cream, so good. Was planning to get pastry as well but they were $7-8 , a bit overwhelming. They got interesting artists featured, i could easily spent a whole day chilling there.

Futuro in Phoenix is where art meets coffee, and it's awesome! The vibe is cool, the coffee's great – they used beans from Brooklyn when I was there, which of course I had to purchase and bring home. Tried the lechera, served iced, and it was delicious. I'm definitely going back!

Loved everything about this place. Service was friendly. The person who took our order recommended the cafe de olla and it was one of the best lattes I have ever had. The flavors were complex, well balanced, and not too sweet. The espresso was delicious. You could tell the barista was handling each drink with care. (i.e. preheating the mugs to ensure hot drinks.) Recommend drinking your coffee there to enjoy the stunning pottery by Miro!

Nothing beats how crisp this place is. Their cold brew is delicious, and I could eat a whole loaf of their banana bread.

"Hip" definitely describes this place. They sell 49th Parallel coffee so you know you're getting high quality artisan coffee. And the barista knows what she's doing which is always nice.

Listen, this isn’t a place where you drop by just to grab coffee. This is a place where you enjoy a hand-crafted, delicious little masterpiece. If Starbucks has the gall to charge you $5 or $6 for a burnt, poorly-extracted espresso doused in sugary syrups and milk, then by all means this place is a steal. Come and enlighten yourself.

My girlfriend and I shared the frijole dish and it seriously took me back to Mexico with all of its vibrant, fresh flavors and well-balanced salsa. The coffee is always great no matter what you get. It’s not a sugar packed frappe—if you want some handcrafted lattes, this place will never disappoint. Hope this place stays for a long time.

What more can you ask for, a studio, cafe, hair salon, and art exhibit all rolled into a silent movie case... I mean the only thing that would make it better is Jessica Alba making your espresso... And I could actually see this as a place she'd go 📸👌
