Really loved this place and disappointed how the owner behaved towards patrons and a man asking for water. Incredibly rude owner or husband of owner? Disappointed because this place is really nice. When my partner and I expressed concern over the person sitting and finishing his water he said “I don’t even have to give him a water”. Way to treat people with dignity. Lots of great wine spots in AZ, go elsewhere. Do better.

I don’t have any recommendations BUT I will say that this place def has a cute vibe, the wine selection is decent (small but enough) and the employees are sweet! I came here bc it hosted Hammer & Stain and I REALLY enjoyed the colab but I was sad that they didn’t offer more semi/sweet wine selections. The glass prices were your typical $11 glass of wine. I wish they offered a pitcher of sangria or something more group focused as an option as well:) Overall, if you don’t mind spending some $$$ then this is a cute place to go to and lounge for a lil 🍷

A very cute spot. Perfect for a first time meeting for online dating. We did the taste test pours and had a fantastic cheese tray. They do not skimp on the cheese. So much food!! We loved it and planned a second date afterwards.

What a great little place. Very cozy. The staff was great and explained everything. That's perfect for us because we have no idea what kind of wines we like and this place had so many self serve wines on tap. That's right I said on TAP. Who knew this was possible. Anyways, 5 plus stars from us.

Now here’s a fun and unique concept. Imagine it’s like an arcade where you load points onto a card and swipe it at the game console in order to play, except here you swap out the video games for wine tasting. Insert card, select the wine you wish to imbibe, and choose between 1oz, 3oz, and 5oz pours with the press of a button. It’s simple, it’s liberating, it’s a good time for one and all. And perhaps the biggest surprise for me was their selection of local beers. I wasn’t expecting to find draft and canned brews here, and I was grateful to see them cater to beer-loving spouses of wine enthusiasts. Great vibe, nice artwork, games available for playing, and build-your-own charcuterie boards round out this well thought out establishment. Genuwinely good stuff.

I recently discovered this incredible wine bar and I'm so happy I did! The the vibe of the bar is welcoming, laid back, and SO MUCH FUN! I went on Tuesday, which was comedy night. You have the opportunity to taste new wines via the self-serve bar. All you do is give your credit card to hold and they give you a glass and "wine card". Once you insert your card into the machine, you can choose from 3 different sizes. This is a great place to discover new wines and meet people!

This is one of my favorite watering holes! I have been coming here for a couple years since I first discovered it a little after COVID. I love their wine club , book club, and all of the other events they host! They have a great selection of wines (of course) but also a good food menu and I love all of their gifts/merchandise options.

Not for true wine lovers, but clever concept of paying for wine by the ounce. Nice atmosphere and friendly help. Wines just not great.

Wonderful place to grab a drink and some snacks. They have games available so you can be entertained. Staff is incredible and knowledgeable about the local area and gives great suggestions. Be aware your GPS will not be accurate, it would be best to navigate to the church across the street (Trinity Episcopal Church)

Went there last night to have a few drinks and really found a gem! Super fun place staff was helpful seeing as some of us didn't know wine well. Snacks were great. Really glad we went.

Always friendly staff, just wish there was more rotating bottles and a larger selection. I see too many of the same bottles each time.

GO NOW! This is an amazing and overdue concept here. Tie your credit card to the poor card and then insert the.pour card and choose 1oz., 3oz or 5oz pour that you control! Do you know you can waste an afternoon trying delicious selections and be satisfied completely? Try it. now!

I usually go here during off hours. And I love how chill it is. It's a great place to sample wines and read a book alone, or even gather with a few friends. The staff always seems super knowledgeable and the food menu consists of the perfect amount of small bites. I love that so many options are locally sourced.

Fun wine bar, has machines where you distributes how ever many ounces you choose. Each bottle had the specific flavors associated with it so that you have an ideal of what it will taste like. We enjoyed ourselves...

Such a unique place with awesome people. I love that they feature Arizona wines and beers. It's about time someone shined the spotlight on all the creative and delicious grape juice we're growing out here!

What a fun new take on a girls night out! I love that I can choose to try whatever I want in different amounts without having to wait. I just press the button and I've got the perfect taste of wine! The owners and staff here are also SO sweet, you really feel like they're your friends.

Their house was very tidy and very classy. The food they had on their menu was very tasty and savory. Lunch and dinner menus are also offered, in addition to their wide selection of delicious wine and beer. We had steak last time we were here and it was amazing and the best we've ever had!

My sister took me here for the first time for trivia (they do trivia on Monday night I believe). Trivia was really fun and GenuWine has a cute and chill vibe. I really like how they had options for you to have just a taste of wine, a half glass of wine or a full glass. The selection was small but they had a nice variety of wines. I actually found a really good Rose that I love.

Great wine tasting room. 24 wines in a self-serve wine cooler where one can take a taste, half glass or full glass by card. Nice cheese/food platter. All wines for sale by the bottle of course. Great spot.

They always have a great selection of wine. The employees are very friendly. I like having the freedom of going up in my own time and picking a wine. The tasting notes are very much appreciated.

Great atmosphere and nice hostess. Wonderful place to try Arizona wines and gourmet snacks. They also have AZ wineries visiting on occasion. Will be back with my friends.

Love the concept and still wish to try it yet the last time we went in to inquire it felt as if we were invading a “white space.” Girl at the front was not open to answering questions, guess she was nervous. To be objective (3 stars), we (a group of young black couples) came in during the hectic First Friday-it was clearly not the vibe we were looking for for the night but wish she (girl at front) was not so unapproachable. Might give it another try, just me and my husband during the day. Fingers crossed.

This review is well overdue but here it is! I've been a Genuwino wine club member for a couple one of years now and there are not enough great things to say about this place. Small place that packs a big punch. Their wine selection is amazing and who doesn't love a self-service wine bar concept?! Their food is delicious, ESPECIALLY their pesto pizza! They have so many fun monthly events (Monday night trivia, wine pairings, monthly book club meetings, Euchre night, special wine tastings, paint and sip events, adult book fairs, etc). The support they give to other small businesses is also really awesome. I have so much Genuwine merch and have purchased handmade goods. I genuinely love this place!

Wine was good. Cool atmosphere and neat idea to dispense the wine. A little pricey for a full glass but it allows you to try a couple different wines at your leisure.

It was a delightful experience of wine tasting. It was a first time for me and my fiancee and the staff was very friendly and recommended great wines. I loved the meat and cheese as well. The only thing that can be improved upon is maybe a first time discount because it did get a bit pricey.

My friend and I came across Genuwine by exploring downtown Phoenix on a girls trip and I have to say I was blown away. The owners were so personable and friendly! We ended up staying for two hours drinking wine and crafting. I wish they had a franchise so they can open a wine bar on the east coast near us! We’d be their first customers! ?

Love that they truly update their stock on their website! Makes shopping so much easier when you know they have what you need; other wine & spirits merchants should take note. Good prices and speedy service, excellent shopping experience.

I've been coming to Arizona for the past year and staying at the Union @ Roosevelt when I discovered this hidden gem. It's not in the busiest part of town but it is definitely a hop, skip and a jump from the action. I truly believe this place is worth your time to visit. The owners are friendly and very fun to chat with. The wine is great, the beers on tap are not really for me but they offer domestic beers in a bottle as an alternative to the craft - so there is something for everyone. The hummus was amazing and the environment is cozy. I highly suggest you bring a date here if you want a quiet and casual evening with a cool enough place that will impress. I plan to visit this place again next time I'm in Arizona for business.
