Odd system of how they seat customers. As just one person, the host asked if I would be willing to sit at the bar which I obliged no problem. But when I sat at the bar and ordered a water, I was asked to show my ID because I wasn’t allowed to sit there unless I showed it, even if I wasn’t ordering alcohol. If you’re going to require customers just sitting at the bar to be 21, the hostess should ask before they sit customers there. Food was relatively decent but expensive

server was nice, but service overall sucked. Hardly acknowledged that i was here. When asking for ranch, never got it.The fries were okay, as for the chicken tenders, too over cooked. I’d rate this place a 3/10. It’s been well over 30 minutes haven’t been checked on. When i got the bill she placed it on the table , mumbled , and walked away before i could say anything. Wouldn’t recommend if you need a place to eat in a short period of time.

Came here to have a drink, watch the Cards game and order some food. The app for phone didn’t work. No one came over to help, I had to go find someone. Our drinks took 25 minutes to get and our food came out before the drinks. We ordered nachos. They were cold and soggy. Didn’t get any napkins and needed forks to eat the nachos but couldn’t get anyone to help us with that either. Very disappointed for the price. Although being an airport I knew it was going to be pricey. But at least the food and drink could have been better.

Food was good. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the club sandwich. I wish the cheese was provolone and not Swiss because it tasted a bit weird in the club sandwich, but still good. The fries were amazing as was their ranch. It was quick and easy to get a seat. The service was a bit lacking even though it wasn’t busy. Two people sat down after us and got their orders first. A bit upsetting. It might be better for to go orders than to sit and eat.

Not a bad vibe for an airport, but the food needs some work. We went late and they were offering a limited menu. The pretzel was the only thing not outrageously priced. The pretzel itself was okay but greasy. The cheese sauce was disgusting. It tasted almost watered down. Our server was nice and hard working. The host staff were terrible and rude. The beer I got was not good. It was allegedly a Hefeweizen but did not taste like one.

The food is soo good. The fish and chips were like real fish and chips, if you know what I mean, and yummy. Chip and dip is also good. BTW the portions are huge so I felt like I didn’t need an appetizer after all. I also had the Arizona mule because when in AZ go AZ, and after a string of HOT days, it was a refreshing and a good drink choice for me - definitely recommend getting it. While I love the food and drinks, my waiter didn’t make it feel like an inclusive space, which was a bummer.

They don't have many vegan options, but honestly, the vegan beyond burger was really good, and the fries were great too! The service was also on point and I will definitely be coming back on my return flight! Don't mind the ketchup in my photos I just like smothering them, but it doesn't come like that.

I walked by twice. The place looked, bleh, so I moved on. With the options all looking the same, I decided to give place a try. Though not a fan of self seating, I found a table easy enough. Server was super friendly & took my drink order right away. I ordered the street tacos & to be honest, I was expecting much. The chicken street tacos blew my mind! They were spicy & perfect. You have to try this place.

We sat down 45 minutes before our flight was starting to board, and were still waiting 40 minutes later. When we told our server we needed to leave, she immediately brought our food, then offered to box it up to go. It was a long flight so we accepted, then waited another 5 minutes till she slapped 2 containers on the table along with the bill. The sandwich and burger were mediocre, the soup was good. Maybe a good spot for a beer but 20/20 hindsight we should have gone to Panera. I do see that this location is new, so maybe they haven't figured out how to make an airport location work, I hope they work it out soon. A smile and an apology would have gone a long way.

It was early! But I paid for a glass of water and started to eat my breakfast at a table. The gal asked if I needed anything 2 times. The airport was not busy and I was the only one there. On the third trip she said I need to leave that she called security. That I can’t seat there. The kitchen was not open but I was to place an order in addition to the drink I got . Anyway the situation was uncalled for. And I can write this review! I

This is the best quality food we ever had in any airport restaurant. Service was even better. Smaller sized menu and fresh food and we received what we paid for . Richard’s service was amazing …. Never been treated so nice in any airport restaurant . A+

As airport food goes, the cobb salad was excellent & my server Andrea exceed expectations, she is so personable & efficient. I hope management knows what a gem they have in her!

I’ve been to a few San Tan locations and wasn’t impressed, but I have to say the service and quality I received at the airport was top notch. Chris the bartender gave me excellent recommendations on food and beer and went out of his way to grab me some special hot sauce (Arizona Gunslinger). Overall exceeded my expectations and was honestly one of the better burgers I’ve had in recent memory. If you have a layover stop over to terminal 3

Everything else was closed between 1pm+ on a Saturday on the airport…except this place! Staff were friendly and the chipotle Bruges was actually 10x better than I expected. Drinks were well priced for an airport as well. 10/10 would trek across the airport for this again!

Good place to grab food. Food quality is good. Better than most. Service was excellent. We got our waters refilled when needed. The fries were pretty good. The fish and chips was decent. The melt sandwich was okay. But it is on the more expensive side for food. Overall, a good experience. I'd recommend coming here if you're not craving Panera Bread and Shake Shack.

Pretty decent for airport food. I had the hazy juicy jack IPA and a club sandwich both of which were tasty. I asked for no avocado which they forgot but other than that, service was great.

Got lunch here and despite the terminal being rather busy, the wait was only five minutes or so. Not inexpensive, but it's an airport, so that was to be expected. The food itself tasted great, and I was happy with my meal.

Not too bad for airport food. We had the nachos and a black bean burger. I got the juicy haze IPA that was pretty good and my wife got a whiskey sour. The cocktails were not very strong and a little sweet but again, it’s in the airport so you can’t expect a lot. The service wasn’t great but it was OK and we were able to get in and out of there fairly quickly. In a pinch, I’d go there again.

We had the greatest server Andrea!! Beer and chicken wings - so delish . Hefferveisen beer for me . Andrea was prompt and was fun to talk to. She made great recommendations and made the time go by quickly while waiting for our flight!!

Typically airport food and beverage bar. I got the nachos and while they were better than the average 7-11. I probably be happier if I just saved my money. The nachos were loaded and the staff were very nice.

This was a great spot to stop in the terminal for some food and drinks. My waitress Kelsey was very friendly and was a big help narrowing down some choices from the menu and none of her recommendations disappointed! She had the drinks over right away and the food followed shortly after. The burger was great and a wonderful suggestion from my waitress. The friendly and prompt service and atmosphere provided from Kelsey gives this an easy 5 stars. Great resting point between flights! Would stop in again for sure.

Ended up at SanTan awaiting our flight. Best place in Terminal 3 to grab a delicious cold beer (Devils Ale, American Pale Ale highly recommended!) and some food. The Club Sammich was great and so was the Cheeseburger. Staff was super friendly and everyone was hustling. Food and drinks were out quickly and the servers were very helpful and friendly... especially Jenn B. Wife says, "Loved her!!!" Suntan is a great place to grab some delicious cold beers awaiting ur flight. Dont miss out!!

had a deliciously smooth beer, SanTan Mr. PIneapple! It's light and full of flavor with a fresh, citrus hinted after taste! The staff is very kind and the bar tender is quick, thorough and very attentive! Great experience before my flight! Thanks guys!

I was hanging out in the airport waiting for a long flight delay and looking at the restaurants and shops for somewhere to eat. Most workers in the airport just ignored me but the host here was engaging, told me about things she liked on the menu, offered me a seat where I could see when my flight came in and was super friendly and helpful. I’m glad host Stephanie was so friendly and customer service oriented or I may not have stopped here. It was a great spot with really good food and I was happy to have the sit down dining experience while I waited. Thank you to everyone, will eat here again.

Came on a weekday at about 1pm. We were seated right away. Food came quickly after ordering. We had burger and wings. Burger was juicy and smoky with lots of savory bits in it (fried onions, bacon??). Fries were excellent. Buffalo wings with blue cheese were juice and big. I couldn't finish it. Drinks were fine. Prices were not outrageous, especially for an airport. Good service.

Not sure what all the fuss is about that this place has less than 3 stars. Came here when the bar was 90% full and we got our food within 5 minutes. Tacos and nachos were solid. 10+ beers on tap.

My waitress (which was an older woman, probably the oldest there, very petite with dark hair) was incredibly rude. More than 3 different times she walked away before I was finished saying my order and asking for a straw, then a to go box and even my check. However the food was surprisingly seasoned as well and fresh and hot. My drink was waaay too sweet, with her actions towards me I bet she told the bartender to make it extra sweet or nonalcoholic. At first I thought it was me but each and every interaction was like she had something against me. I ignored it though because as I stated I thought it was me. But now that I’m eating my leftovers I realize it was her. She intentionally gave me the wrong to go sauce which was my confirmation of my intuition. I’d never allow her to serve me food again. She bought down my experience significantly which I feel was her intention.

This is a nice place to eat before a flight or during a layover. I had the chipotle bacon burger and it was an excellent burger! One of the best I have had in a long time! I am not sure if it is airports in general, but it seems like every where I go the servers don’t offer soda refills unless you ask. This place was no exception, but I had a water and a soda so I didn’t need one anyway. Overall this was a very satisfying place to grub.

Was traveling to my hometown and needed a bite to eat, so I stopped at this location. The staff was friendly and the food was tasty. My drinks were nice and refreshing as well. I will for sure try the location in town. Those wings were the best I've had in a while, tender, juicy, and very flavorful!

Good for an airport. I ordered the chipotle bacon cheese burger. A wait be seated and served… to be expected for an airport. Wide selection of hard liquor. I orders a house bourbon and with a Coke Zero while I waited. TV with games on. Comfortable chairs with chargers.

I love San tan, but this is the WORST bar I've been to in a minute. Tried to order a beer from the rail, was told I had to sit at a table cuz I had luggage. 15 minutes later my server finally got to me, I ordered one beer. 10 minutes later I still didn't have my beer. I watched the lady at the rail serve 5 others while I waited. It was not even slightly busy. I did not wait any longer for my beer. Y'all are ruining the name of San Tan, hire some competent employees. Merry Christmas

Waiting for a late night flight this place was the place to be. Open until 11 (food until 1045 pm) the service was great. The beer is really good! Try the Mr. Pineapple or Moonjuice IPA if you like citrusy/ tropical flavors. Also the Mr Pineapple habanero wings were spot on! Don't let the name fool you, they weren't spicy at all. I wish they had a bit more spice...but considering most of us here are waiting to board a confined space that's probably a good thing! If traveling thru Phoenix again I'll definitely be back.

3 stars bc the beer was good and the soft pretzel was killer but service was unacceptable. So slow and they have like 10 people working the bar? Took 40 minutes to get a soft pretzel. Maybe the non airport locations are better, but serious SOS for this one. Out of like all t-shirt options too, it's an airport... Not understanding.

Waited like 45 minutes for wings. Fairly certain whoever my waiter was initially didn’t see me or forgot because I was greeted by someone five or ten minutes after I sat down asking if I’d been helped. I knew what I wanted and said that when my server took my drink order but he didn’t let me order my food, he went and got me a water instead then came back. Food wasn’t anything special but not bad. Had to ask another server to take my card to cash out and then rush to make my flight. Not happy with any of the experience.

The negative reviews are accurate. The beer was on point but waiting for over 30 min for a second drink is unacceptable. Especially when the bar is less than half full. Rude service to go along with the pace.

Well above expectations for an airport restaurant. Great food, especially the breakfast. Friendly staff too. I travel about 20 times a year and this place stood out as a quality spot worth taking the time to post a review. If you're traveling through Phoenix stop by San Tan near gate F6 (Delta gates).

Where to start ? First, we couldn't find a clean table, we were then ushered to the bar area because, as the server explained, they were short handed and trying to close off the restaurant. In order to seat us in the bar area, they still had to clean a table. I ordered Chandler street chicken tacos which came with rice and beans. I eat low carb, so was planning to just eat the chicken and beans. The plate came with chips instead of beans. When I inquired, the server said he forgot to tell me they were out of beans. So, for dinner I had two, small, over priced scoops of chicken ? They did discount the meal $1.30 ?

Terrible service. Waited for over 10 mins and no server greeted us. They did greet the one other table who came in after us and then continued to ignore us. I went to the bar and asked if I could order food and the bartender told me a server would be over. No one came. Restaurant was dead and the servers were standing around talking to each other. Early morning on dec. 31st. Would not recommend and would not return. I guess that’s why the reviews are so bad for this place

Great beer. Truly one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever experienced. Every interaction was a mistake.

Horrible service. It took 15 minutes before I was served. I ordered coffee to start and it was another 15 minutes before the coffee came and then another 20 minutes before my hamburger arrived. I almost missed my plane. After the hamburger arrived another waiter asked if I wanted ketchup. I said yes and it arrive after I'd finished my burger. They need more waiters I guess.

I have been here half a dozen times. Good craft beer, liquor available also. Breakfast burrito is awesome. Service can be a little slow.

All the bad reviews are accurate. Understaffed and very slow kitchen. I was seated and then told it would be a 30 minute wait for food. No problem, it is the airport after all. They didn’t even bring me water or take my drink order for first 30 minutes. It’s lunch time on a Tuesday. It’s not like it’s late night or early morning. Not even a holiday.

Not a bad beer selection and the service was pretty good and very friendly! I was there in the evening and it was very quiet with a good atmosphere if you were at the bar. Decent view of the airfield as well.

They're trying hard and nice people, but the wait time for service at the bar and food orders is 100% unacceptable. They are very very inefficient at handling new customers. Guy at the bar next to me waited an hour for enchiladas and scarfed them down because his flight is boarding. Great place to stop if you want to make your travel experience MORE stressful, I guess.

The food was very good(I had fish and chips) and the service was very quick. We had lots of time so I would have been fine if it took awhile, but we were seated immediately and our order taken. The lunch came out right away.

Yum! I had an unusual amount of time to kill so I decided to grab a bite but I wanted a beer. The first place after the bridge in Terminal 3 is The Tavern, but their tap looked really limited so I decided to explore the rest of the terminal. SanTan was the next option for a beer so I stopped. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Mr. Pineapple and thoroughly enjoyed that. I was deciding between Mac + Cheese or Fish and Chips. My server said the fish and chips was the way to go and she did not lead me astray! I don't usually go for the breading in fish and chips and I ate all of this (notice how it's missing from the picture)!! The coleslaw (also missing) and fries were also delicious. The window seats have a stunning view of South Mountain. It was a great way to pass extra time and I'll likely make time to stop by next time I fly through Terminal 3!

I'm not sure what standards are being held but there was a few times I saw the cook/ chef go to the bathroom and never once take off his apron which I believe is very very unsanitary I will not be eating here again

Waiting on a red eye and had some time to kill. Stopped at Santan at PHX airport. Not particularly busy. Bartender basically ignored me. I had to flag him down for a beer x 2. Had to ask for a menu and he said two words as he handed it to me "Appetizers only". He never came back to ask me if I wanted to order. So I just gave up and left. In the mean time I heard him complain about how tired he was because he came in at 10 am. I'm sorry but I work 12 hour shifts all the time. WAAAA!" Rude.

Long wait for service which was not rude but certainly not friendly. Over priced bar food. The beer cheese is very much out of balance leaving the taste of musty socks in your mouth. The soggy nachos resembled milk-soaked cornflakes (hint if you mix these ingredients in this fashion you need thicker chips). Overall this is a place where nothing is standard. Even the fries are battered. This would be great for an in-town eatery but at the airport you should have something standard; you can't even get a standard cheeseburger. At this advanced price point we are forced to compare the food to much more upscale eateries that do it so much better. Not a good choice for an airport, or Sky Harbor, due to the slow, and disappointing service and the affected menu items that are not done properly.

Best place in Terminal 3 for a breakfast beer.

Probably the best option in Terminal 3 at PHX for beers, a cocktail, appetizers or even a burger to go with your favorite sporting event.

We waited 10min to be acknowledged...we asked what kind of shots they had, waitress gave us a list..we ordered. She came back and told us they dont have that one in store. Then we asked for another brand and she said they only had double shots not single shots. I just think they should be more aware of the products they have so they dont waste our time, specially when we are talking about the airport. Waitress was kind.

Just as delicious as the Chandler location.
