It's time to close this store down. This community deserves a fully functioning grocery store. Half the time the deli is closed down with a sign saying, "Closed due to lack of staff". The entire store is low on staff making it impossible to get help. The management is apathetic. Items they normally carry are no longer on the shelves. I would like to know how Kroger's justifies the drastic differences between the Fry's on 20th St & Camelback & the one on 30th & Thomas. Demographics, perhaps? One can only assume they think people living closer to the Biltmore are more deserving of excellence in their shopping experience. It's time for the community to demand a decent grocery store.

Frequent customer here at this location I never have a problem buying alcohol beverages but tonight I went in with my daughter and they wouldn’t allow me to buy drinks because she didn’t have her ID . She’s underage why would she need her ID for me to buy alcohol drinks . Makes zero sense. Cashier was extremely rude .

I frequent this store do to the location. It’s always clean and most staff members render service with a smile and are quite helpful. On this particular day, Cashier Stephanie did not look happy to be there. She didn’t crack a smile or grin at any customers that passed through her line. Her energy felt off. I decided to go to another line. I was sad when I learned that Stephanie is a manager. I’m fairly sure the company team leaders should not look miserable while serving customers. The cashier Cody was pleasantly kind and polite, no bad vibes there!

To many homeless hanging outside, every visit I make to this location there’s always homeless begging for money in the parking lot and they will literally follow you and continue to beg even when you decline to give them any money. The rent a cop(security) is a short middle aged woman that does nothing but stand at the front entrance inside the store all day making sure PAYING customers aren’t “stealing” while the real threat is outside harassing the paying customers

What a great store! Make sure to sign up for their rewards program because you'll save money! They always have what I need, and the produce is excellent. Employees are always nice, especially cashier Carolyn and the bagger named Brayden. Kudos to them both!

This has to be one of the better managed stores in the Frys chain. Shelves are generally well stocked, and if they aren't, the reason usually isn't because someone is too lazy to see to it. The staff friendly and helpful, willing to help you find what you are looking for. It isn't a "fancy nancy" store, which may explain why it's one of Frys' better store for grocery shopping.

The manager was rude The store was filthy. Just out exploring Phoenix from out of town and decided to stop there to get some groceries and left without buying anything.

It was good I got some things for some homeless people. They really needed to eat and I really needed it because I got a really good confession at church today😇👍🙏

Always busy, but convenient for groceries and sundries on the way home after work or just a cold water and salty snack from the cold case in the summer heat when you're out and about. Note: the self checkout here is ample so if the clerks (when available) are swamped you can usually still get out with expediency.

Store is older and when it rains it drips from 100 places with matching buckets. This store has some veteran Fry's food long time workers. I think Kevin the General Manager is the best example of dedication regardless of location. Great attitude. Fair and friendly. Cathleen the salt and pepper beauty who rocks Customer Service is amazing and fast. She is Queen of the $ order and Wireless Mu$e to Mexico and South America. I may have misremembered her name. However her customer service is to be remembered fondly.

The majority of the staff is horrendously inept, remarkably mentally delayed, and HORRIDLY ugly. I don’t wish to buy, nor eat, my food from a place where the workers appear un-showered, covered in fixable acne (if they just cared about their appearance), and are bafflingly incompetent — especially when you ask them simple questions. Couldn’t agree more with the other woman’s ‘rent-a-cop’ theory on their security. The standards for their actual staff have to be even worse, BY FAR. They must feel inclined to hire the most asinine individuals to run the place — just shop and see. Hope they at least least get away with underpaying the fools. Maybe they have an easier time bossing around the moronic, but it makes the place run prosaically. This location makes me want to save my money and starve myself. G R O S S

For the part of town thos store is located, the employees do a great job of trying to be courteous and professional...in many situations that I have witnessed..in circumstances that I would have a very difficult time maintaining the same professionalism.

Great store. Shelves are well stocked, the aisles are clearly marked and are easy to navigate. Produce is fresh, deli department is helpful and knowledgeable. Beer and liquor section has lots of options and variety. The pharmacy is awesome with very nice staff. The store staff is knowledgeable and helpful, they actually know where things are and if not they will help you find what you're looking for, security is also friendly. This is my go to store.

BAKERY SHOP: I came to stop by and get my list over with it was super busy! First off very nice man watched my cart half way through this experience came back from getting my card dropped off, I was thrilled to see my things all there because I wouldn't have gone back again. I may sound like one of those whiney customers I notice this but, I realized my sugar was low I'm hypoglycemic, so I was feeling faint, Liz (Bakery Shop) took notice and was kind enough to ask the exact sugar snack I would enjoy to have a spoonful of. She was so kind and observant. People that try to help others like this are rare in the world we live in someone give this woman a raise!! I watched her handle the whole place on her own with ease and she gave each of the efforts her all. Thank you for kind people like this we need more of that and less AI. She waited with me until I felt better. So grateful!

After being ripped off at Safeway and being treated like I'm nothing by the cashier whom charged me double for my meats. He even told me you shouldn't be around others. Lol wearing a mask 😷. I wouldn't ever judge book until I read what's inside. A hole I'm a nursing student practicing in the medical field. Coming into Fry's after that experience there was this older gentleman with long hair ponytail that made my day. He was very courteous. Helped me find a better selection of what I was looking for. And even went to get me it.

This is the best Frys in the city as far as I'm concerned because it's by my house and it's the only one I go to. (+_+) Same selection is every other Fry's. They do not take Apple pay Google pay or any other type of tap pay which is very frustrating. Anytime I don't have my wallet with me I can't purchase anything here. Otherwise this is a fantastic store.

Stop! I know you are searching but are you ready to believe the Bible yet? Mark1:15 Yeshua Ha Mashiac speaking (Jesus) "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of Elohim is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Bible) To be saved by Yeshua , say and believe (in your heart) this prayer and repent (turn away from your sins and worldly living; by Elohim’s (God) help, leave that life behind): "Dear Elohim I admit I'm a sinner, going to Hell. I know that I cannot save myself. I repent of my sins (turn away from my sins) and put my faith in the blood that You shed for me on the cross to pay for all my sins. I now accept You as my Lord and Savior, Lord Jesus Christ, and I will live and serve You as the Elohim of my life, and I trust You to take me to Heaven one day. Thank You for saving me, Lord Jesus. Amen (agree)." All glory to Elohim !!! You're now saved by Lord Jesus Believers (people of Elohim , followers of Yeshua) repent by confessing your sins daily to God with a mind made up to stop doing those sins and any sins. God will help you live righteous if you come to Him with a repentant heart (a humble heart truly sorry for what you've done), and asking God for help so you can live right unto Him (God Almighty) (Bible verses: 1Corinthians 6:9-10; 1John 1:9; Isaiah 57:15-19; 1Peter 5:5-7; Matthew 7:7-11). You can use this scripture along with prayer to repent daily, and throughout the day, to God:

Legitimately the worst frys in the valley! The deli is consistently closed because for whatever reason this location cannot get their ordering right. The worst!

This Fry’s is the worse one in the area. It is in a low income area and their products reflect it. Their produce is normally rotten, stuff on the shelf is expired and the massive fire hazard of having one entrance and exit is simply unacceptable. This is an awful way to serve the community that desperately need good products and services. I will be writing their corporate office and contacting the local fire department.

They should update the hours. Supposed they close at 11 but couldn’t go in at 10:50. I just needed 1 milk and they deny the services, maybe they have posted outside that hour to get in is at 10:50 after that you will no be able to enter.

Come here and it's not even 11pm, I went to go get toilet paper and lady man front end manager and security guy kicked me out blocking me to go get what I needed. Rude as no other terrible customer service.

Scott is not the right clerk are check out, is grumpy, mad and rude, store is missing merchandise on fruit and vegetables with empty display boxes, lots of vendors working on accomodating their merchandise after opening but rest of tge crew including security are very, very nice, Old Scotty needs training, eye contact, welcome greeting, show a bit interest and joy at his work and a nice farewell would be a world of improvement (has not changed in a long time)

Went into today to grab things for dinner, upon entry there was a woman yelling at someone that’s when it hit me the smell of death. My girlfriend said it was her breath so we continue on in the store heading to the produce and meats. The smell did not go away it smelt like a sewer line had busted open filling the entire store of gases and stanks. We immediately left to El super next door instead totally ruined my appetite let alone to continue shopping for dinner there. Please fix the smell asap that’s our go to grocery store .

Price has been treating me good for the past 20 years. Even when they have hiccups, they've still been better than other stores I've tried.

One of the worst frys i ever visited, the food area, like cooked food. No items available. Told me they didn't do the $7 meal deals than the next day told me they did but they didn't have the correct chicken. Customer service bad, manager bad

What a dump! The guard that is supposed to be watching the door is usually out side smoking cigarettes and texting so the place has canines than the dog park. One guy let his dog run up and down though the pre bagged lettuce cooler. The bathrooms look like they haven't been remodeled since they opened the store, 40 years ago, and they are nasty dirty. I have talked to the manager about how bad the store is getting but he never does anything about it. The service counter closes at 3 pm so if you have a job you can't get there in time for returns or lottery tickets. There is a Walmart half a mile away maybe I will try shopping there.

This is the cleanest, best managed Fry's that I've been to. Been shopping here for over 20 years even though I live in south Phoenix I drive the extra miles to this store! Rarely out of a product, friendly employees and CLEAN!
