This is a very good place to have a cocktail and the food is really good ! We had the wings and I have to say they were so good ! My husband and I just moved here and we love the local vibe here bartenders very nice too ! The hamburgers are also the best ever. Anyway great safe clean place to hang out of and they have pool as well.

Great local place to watch football. Had the sliders and they were very tasty. Also had the elote which was good. Limited menu but they seem to make what they offer very well. Staff is also very nice.

My husband and I have been going to the Cactus Tavern frequently after our daughters recommended it. It is a great neighborhood sports bar. The owner, Spence and his sister are friendly and the service is fast. The food is very good, the cocktails are very reasonably priced and we like the atmosphere. We just went last night to celebrate our anniversary! The menu has many choices but I especially love their bacon cheeseburger! My husband gets a different entree every time we go and never disappointed.

Excellent little dive/not dive bar. Best looking elotes I've ever seen. Lovely staff, good place at a good price. Happy to have stopped in.

I normally would say I love this place but today I’m still waiting on food an hour later without even an apology - I still recommend this place; however, proceed with caution because either something has changed or it’s a very off day. Probably wouldn’t recommend taking a lunch break to eat here.

Fun with the locals

It's been a while since I've come in. Still the same crowd, which there's nothing wrong with. Wish they kept the dart boards. Bartender was nice and attentive.

Celebrating 🥳🥂 a special occasion and one of our favorite local bars is still open late on a week night! Banana cream pie shots & a cherry jello shot. I always call them "banana pudding shots" but you get the point. Definitely worth trying if you like banana flavor 🍌

My order was wrong... I ordered the onion strings or whatever they're called and I got fries. I was pretty sad cause I really wanted to try the onion things. Still 4 stars though cause damn it if this isn't one awesome French dip and super tasty Au Ju sauce so... I just want the onion things...

Was just trying to grab a quick drink after a long day working in the hospital 🏥, and this place was perfect! The drinks I got were good and not over poured and the food was actually very good. Will be coming back soon!

Stopped in for a burger - 1000 island burger. Good tasting served with fries. All tables are tall with stools - uncomfortable seating. Food took way to long to be served. Okay for neighborhood fare.

One of my favorite bars in Phoenix. Bartenders are always fantastic and drinks are on point. This bar is associated with Wrecked on the Reef in Rocky Point. Highly recommended!

Love this spot. The staff is friendly and fast. The beverages are easy on the budget and made well. But the star of the show are the wings, they are crisp, well cooked and the sauces are great. We come here often!!

I was heading to the Chinese food restaurant to pick up some supplies for a night of dodgers and chow mein. I saw the cactus tavern and I remembered I had this place in my "to go" list. Inside the vibe is chill and comfy. I had a pint and the wings... Delicious and crispy hot wings. The music choice was excellent. Staff was also super cool

I can say confidently: The food here is always very good no matter what you order, the time or day. They have a digital dart board and billiards, and the staff are always pretty friendly. Comfy! We had a yummy appetizer, breaded, deep fried jalepeño pickle spears and our waitress, Suzie, was terrific!! They have a dart board and a pool table. It's dimly lit, which I love because it's cozy and romantic. They have a great special for every day of the week. We highly recommend a visit to Cactus Tavern!!

I like to stop in here for lunch when I'm craving a good burger. The bartenders are always friendly and the place looks clean. I occasionally stop by during the evening and the drinks are pretty good.
