Phoenix native and this is the best park in the city. Great location and family fun. 2 bathrooms for men and women. Fun covered playground with wood chips. Bridges, fountains, ducks, geese, fishing, mostly flat so I can see my kids when they wander off. Lots of seating, benches, shade, garbage bins, parking. Tons of paths for walking, skating, biking, scootering

Best park for family fun, picnic, get togethers. Visited there for a birthday party 🥳 in the amusement park, kids really loved it. So many rides for them to enjoy. Reasonable price. Lots of open space for any outdoor activities, running, walking, golf. Many big trees around for enough shade, many seating benches all around the park. There is a huge lake for peddle boat rentals, Lot of ducks 🦆 and geese around. Palm trees around the lake is best scenery for photography. Clean bathrooms.

I can't believe I have lived here this long and not been here until last week. It is a beautiful park, clean, has free tennis courts that are being resurfaced, and the gal that runs the sports facility is super friendly and helpful.

Growing up in Phoenix during the 70's with Encanto Park for our backyard brings back great memories. Birthday parties at Kiddieland. Lawn seats for Bandshell concerts on warm summer evenings. Twenty years later my kids loved the park making their own memories while our family's third generation enjoys Encanto today as much as this grandmother did 50 years ago.

I have been visiting Encanto Park since I was a baby. I love this park, even though its not in the richest neighborhood, we have never had a problem at this park. There is plenty of parking, picnic areas, and places to take nice pictures. My family enjoys it and loves the amusement park, the paddle boats and playground.

The place was clean and the people that was there was friendly and courteous we had a great time taking pictures it offers landscapes and views to enjoy and take pictures, a place with lakes and animals like ducks birds and storks.

This is still a very, very nice park. Nice to ride a bike in , or talk a walk in, or just sit in the shade and read in, or people watch in. Very enjoyable place still to this day.

Fantastic Park for the Whole family

This park has been same since visiting it a decade ago, which is fun, active, and family oriented with picnics and bbqs. It offers train rides, ponds, waterfalls, water peddle boats, etc. With my most recent visit, they'd closed off a portion of the park for an event which I didn't know you could do with a public park. The park is inside a beautiful, older historic neighborhood. There's also a neat golf course next door and a couple restaurants.

This park was not nice! Lots of homeless people and trash all over. I was visiting from Texas and was surprised with the group I was with decided on a group photo at this park. The 4 1/2 stars fooled us! Must be a local thing but I would never recommend this park. It’s dirty and I wouldn’t dare sit on the grass. I didn’t take any pictures because it wasn’t worth it. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough!

I only really came here to fish the pond. However have yet to have a positive experience here. The water always stinks as if its harboring a graveyard of fish. The actual park itself looks really nice. Great play place for the kids. But overall just didnt like the vibes.

Really great, clean park!! Also has an "amusement park" geared towards young kids ages 2-9 I would say with quite a few rides and a train that goes all the way around the park. Great for families with young kiddos.

The park employees will not allow gatherings or open the basketball courts or the outside gym. I understand covid is serious but if the inside gyms are open and restaurants are open then why would this park be on lockdown? So much for a family friendly park

Great Park! Lots of open space and sidewalks. Great place to bring a family, walk your dog, or just hang out. This Park has a waterfall, an island, bridges, and a kids play area. There is so much to do here. There are some homeless people and derelicts hanging out at this park so, be aware. There are a lot of ducks and birds here.

I love this park - I visited during a weekday afternoon and it was very clean, I didn’t see any trash. Plenty of ducks and other water fowl. Very relaxing and beautiful spot in the city.

Awesome place for family.

This park has everything you can think of... Basketball courts, raquet ball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, swimming pool, baseball field, fields and fields, lots of sidewalks, three areas for kids to play, a little amusement park for kids, a pond to fish, a golf course, an area to work out, can rent paddle boats and a train for kids to ride. I'm sure I'm missing stuff. For a park as old as this it's an oldie but goodie. I will post pictures as I go back.

Beautiful park! It's so big and the lake is so pretty. Theres a cool amusement park on the "island" for kids. Havent been but would like to check that out also. Park is very nice.

Place is looking nice

Been going here since I was a small child. And my 3 grown children had alot of birthdays parties here. Many Easter Sundays were spent here. I grew up in the Valley of the Sun. Phoenix, AZ so this holds many good memories for me and my family and many friends even co-workers met up here for some good bbq skills. And of course, the whose potatoes salad was best. Confession time I would put extra mayonnaise on everyone's potatoes salad. So it would taste better.

Very nice park.

This park has earned it’s place as one of our family favorites! It is always super clean, the playgrounds are fantastic, and our kids love to watch the various ducks, geese, & birds. Last time we visited we also saw a decent sized turtle, so that was pretty cool! It’s a lovely place to go for picnics, playtime, or just to get out of the house and refocus.
