Absolutely amazing. Would go back here any time. We ordered the Korean Bulgogi bento, a Las Vegas roll & a New York roll along with shrimp tempura and spicy garlic edamame. Everything about this place was delicious. The staff was on point, and as soon as people were done, the front end had tables cleaned up and done in a flash. Make sure to learn about eastern cultures because they won't refill your drinks unless you ask. They won't ask if you need anything because they don't want to disrupt your meal. Traditional westerners might find this a turn-off, but I found it contributed to the experience of the place. 10/10, absolutely amazing food and service.

The service was great and the sushi is awesome 👌! My husband and I had squid salad, which we love, theirs was different from other places that always carry the same kind. I got the ultimate dragon roll, cherry blossom, and the Vegas roll for my husband, who doesn't like raw fish. He loved the Vegas roll! The ultimate was phenomenal 👏! Huge pieces of eel, which made me so happy, as it's my favorite ❤! Completely worth the cost! The cherry blossom is always a go-to favorite, and their use of black rice is yummy and healthier. It was slightly pricey, but worth an extra dollar or two! It was our anniversary. Quality was lovely! A great mom N pop local business to support!!

We’re new to the area and found Echo Sushi. Nice intimate little place with great food. Wide selection ranging from sushi to ramen to poke to omakase and a few others. Quick service nice waitstaff and of course greeted by the sushi chefs when you walk in. We have spicy chicken ramen soup, tuna poke and a Carefree roll. All huge portions and very good. They use the forbidden rice which is cool and different. Rolls are a bit spendy but then again this is not Ra Sushi so you get what you pay for. The ramen bowl was 2-3x what I’ve gotten elsewhere. Great little place, we will be back!

Always great fresh sushi and friendly service from all staff members. I travel 40 minutes to eat here so that tells you how good this place is. They offer black rice which is so tasty and it is more healthy than white rice. The Philadelphia Roll is truly the best I have ever had anywhere. Their salmon is the best, melts in your mouth very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent sushi, better than our previous top place! Good atmosphere and cozy shop... The food tasted amazing, the rolls are good size and they feature black rice (forbidden rice), fresh fish and comparable prices. I recommend this place if you are in the area .. we drove almost an hour to have some! The salmon melted in our mouths! Unagi is delicious!! 🤤

This was an awesome experience. They had a very friendly staff and great menu. Although a bit pricey the meal did come with exactly what I was craving. I love that they used black rice which is very unique. I would definitely come here again.

First visit. Very friendly and attentive service! This restaurant is more than just serving sushi. Cozy smaller dining area, but can accommodate parties larger than four by rearranging some tables. Unique in the use of a blend of “black/red rice” in their sushi and Bento boxes. At first, I thought it was just a gimmick by using soy sauce, or squid ink, or seaweed for coloring plain white rice, but it’s not! Plus it was tasty and probably healthier than white rice! Speaking of catering to customers, we were wrapping up, about 10 minutes before their closing time, a family came in courteously asking if it were too late, and the immediate response from multiple staff members was a very welcoming “No. Please come in!” Not even a stipulation stating that they will be closing soon, nor a sense of rushing the customer! Kudos! 👏👍

The best Korean sushi in North Phoenix.. I really don't want to say it because it can get a little crowded as it is a small location. So having said that plan accordingly and come when it's not busy !👍👉

Don’t let the prices scare you, the food was amazing. I didn’t get any of the rolls but their use of black rice as others have mentioned really sets them aside from other places. I usually frequent the revolving sushi places but they really don’t hold a candle to echo. I really enjoyed how the wasabi essentially melted my face, better than any other. I legitimately teared up here. Their nigiri is top notch, with large portions compared to other restaurants. The ambiance is nice, a small hole in the wall. The background music is peaceful. The people are so nice. If I want to have a nice dinner or bring a date, I’ll gladly drive the twenty minutes here.

The fried rice and spicy Ramen noodles we’re both the best we’ve ever had and the portion size was phenomenal! I was slightly skeptical before we came however this will become a regular stop for us. The photos attached are after half of both plates have been eaten.

I should have listened to my cousin's opinion of this location. Food was overpriced and taste was sub-par. If a place has only 4 tables filled on a Friday at 7pm, Something is wrong. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box and the salmon was overcooked and dry. The server was moving like she had the restaurant packed and left me sitting with an empty beverage for 4 minutes. I will have to say that some of the plates were presented beautifully, however I left without finishing my meal due to lack of flavor and overcooked salmon. Would I come back to this location? Black rice, white rice makes no difference and I would definitely pick my normal sushi location that is 30 minutes away. Thought I would give this place a try, because I love sushi and it's within close proximity to my residents. Sorry for the honest review and I wish you the best of luck Echo Sushi.

Echo is a small shop, but the food is amazing. They use a black rice for their sushi and my whole family loves it. My kids ask for Echo specifically when they want sushi. The staff is so friendly. They are my go-to for lunch with my daughter. We've done take out and dine in, you can't go wrong.

This place is a gem. Great food and great service. We’ve had the sushi and soup here which have both been fantastic. I highly recommend it.

Sushi quality was poor. Ordered a spicy scallop hand roll and it had a gross flavor. Also, the price increase from last year to this year is absolutely ridiculous. Adding photos of the new menu compared to last years menu. $23 for 12 oysters last year and now they are $38.50?? Everything has increased $4 or more… I get inflation, but this is insane… will never go back.

Honestly really good sushi place. The food was super fresh and the spicy edamame was soooo good! However, it was pretty pricey! We regularly go to Lychee Kitchen off pinnacle peak and it’s about half the price for incredible sushi/Chinese and huge portions! We would definitely return but not as often as we go to Lychee Kitchen!

Definitely a decent sushi spot it's not even revolving sushi but it's a quaint little spot not over the top good pricing worth stopping through.

I have yet to find a better spot for sushi/sashimi. N every time we go here. The search seems futile, this place is perfect!

They are friendly but the ramen is not very authentic and the price seems a bit more expensive than expected. Ramen noodle is just ok, not very fantastic or special. Spicy miso tastes like kimchi soup. Not as good as expectation.
