We are new to the area, looking for good places to eat when company comes to stay & a treat and every now & then! It’s always hit or miss with GOOD Chinese food’. THIS WAS FIRE 🔥 All 3 of us were HIGHLY satisfied with our dinners. Spicy 🌶️ garlic chicken we chose 8 from a scale of 1-10 on spicy because we love it spicy! It was definitely spicy, but not so hot that it took away from the amazing flavors! The chicken was delish! Fresh veggies & the sauce was 🤌🏼 The “baking” temp was so hot & fresh! I’d rather have HOT food than cold- so good! The general was so delicious and chicken was cooked to perfection! Flavors were overflowing! 😋 I had the small bowl 🍲 of hot & sour soup , there wasn’t anything small about the bowl , the couple pieces of shrimp 🍤 were BIG & juicy! The chips to mix with were also fresh! I took bites off the plates above and definitely went in for a 2nd-3rd bite! Hehehe 🤭 I can NOT leave out that our waitress was friendly & funny! The greeter that sat us was very sweet! It was a Friday early eve & it was starting to get busy which is always a good sign. I highly recommend going here. They will not disappoint! We all left full , with leftovers and felt very welcome 🙏. The prices are very very fair!!! Hard to find that anymore! Enjoy 😊

The staff was so nice and welcoming. We were able to sit wherever we wanted which was also great. It was a very peaceful and quiet environment which made me feel very comfortable. Our server bagged all of our to go food as well. The food was amazing. Highly suggest eating here!!

Restaurant was clean with lots of space between tables. Lunch menu is a fantastic deal with soup, spring roll, crab puff and entree for about $8. Food was great here and the half dozen times we've had take out recently.

It was so GOOD! I used to have a favor place in Los Angeles called Kwon’s that I would go to for Lo Mein all the time. I now have a new favorite place. I got their House Lo Mein and it did NOT disappoint. Plus our waitress was super nice and helpful and the food come out fresh and hot. It was really that good!

I read an article one time that listed Dao Kitchen as one of the best Chinese food places in the valley, and that is definitely true. The food is always hot and fresh, even when you get it to go. If you’re dining in, the staff is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

First time trying, with a really odd experience. I was the only one in the dining area, but they were obviously doing a steady takeout business. Waitress was very sweet. I ordered the Hot & Sour soup, Crab Puffs, and General Tso’s Chicken. The soup and crab puffs were normal for Chinese food, but the General Tso’s Chicken took an incredibly long time to be brought out. General Tso’s is a very specific sauce, and by their menu description was served with snow peas and carrots. One bite of what was brought to the table immediately found it was definitely not what I had ordered. The sauce on the chicken was an odd mix of Sweet & Sour, and Kung Pao sauce, and the ONLY vegetable was huge chunks of red and green bell peppers, which I cannot eat. I called the waitress to the table, told her that what she brought me was not General Tso’s chicken, and incredibly she doubled down and insisted it was… like I was too stupid to know the difference and would just eat it. I pulled up their website menu on my phone, showed her their own picture and description, and she still doubled down, saying they had just changed the vegetables recently. Honestly it would not have mattered if it was only the vegetables that were changed, it still was not the General Tso’s sauce. I explained to her that I was allergic to green peppers, I had ordered what I knew I could eat, and what she brought was not what I ordered. She did take it back, but incredulously told me that next time I should just order the General Tso’s chicken and they would make it for me. ??? I ordered it THIS time and couldn’t get it, as though a next time would somehow be different?? There won’t be a next time.

Great place. Clean, so friendly, excellent service. My husband and I came in for dinner. The food is very fresh (the veggies are perfectly steamed) and not over the top sauced. Was not overly busy with dine in customers, but steady with online orders. Honest, this is probably the best place to eat in the Tramonto/ Dove Valley area. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is outstanding and the portions are generous. We always order an extra entree and they will serve our meal family style. We have plenty to take home for later. My favorite is the orange beef but everything is delicious. The servers are so friendly. We went on Christmas Eve and everyone was in such cheerful moods. Take out is always fast, generous portions and still hot when we get home. We have 3 favorite local restaurants and this is one of them.

We loved it here! So glad we stopped in to try it out last week. The vegetable egg rolls were amazing. The sauces with the main dishes were rich and flavorfull. We had the kung pao chicken, orange chicken, and the family style tofu.

I could eat the Lo Mein from Dao Kitchen every. Single. Day. The beef was incredibly tender and I added vegetables with were cooked to perfection. Our food took a little while to come out and they brought free cream cheese puffs to hold us over, which was thoughtful and much appreciated. The hot and sour soup was one of the best I've had and kept us patient till the main courses came out. Which were seriously worth the wait! Service is nice and friendly, and the music they play makes you feel like you're at a spa. I was relaxed, happy, full and tired by the end of dinner. Highly recommend this place!

This is your friendly neighborhood Chinese restaurant with family style plates and amazing food. They just remodeled and have tons of tables. Awesome Chinese food. I finally found a good AZ based Chinese restaurant in North Phoenix! The orange chicken is amazing. We also had the sizzling rice soup, egg roll, lo mein, and green bean plate with beef, shrimp and chicken. SO YUMMY 😋

This place is amazing! The staff is super nice and always gives my kids fruit snacks. It's so heartwarming to see how much they care. The food is always hot and fresh, and they even have gluten-free options for my in-laws. Its always a tradition for us to come on Christmas Day, since they’re open.

We came in at 9:00pm on a Sunday-they close at 9:30pm. We were greeted with smiles…..I had snow Pea Pork ( bbq pork with pea pod) it was fresh hot and delicious! Best Asian food in Phoenix!

Compared to other Asian restaurants in the area, the food at this establishment surpasses expectations. The pleasant atmosphere and good service contribute to an enjoyable dining experience. However, I do recall one of the older servers struggling with English communication, which could be an area for improvement. While the prices may be slightly higher than average for Asian cuisine, I believe the quality of the food justifies the cost.

We looked online at old lunch hours but they still honored it for us. Prices also increased from the one online. The inside looked nice but it was awkwardly silent in there (no music and only 1 other couple) and can see/hear the employee watching videos on his phone. Overall, the price is good. My favorite thing was the egg drop soup 10/10 but the rest of the food was ok. Fried rice wasn’t the type I was expecting either.

Clean, beautiful decor. Our meals were so tasty and fast service. 😋 The prices are reasonable for the portion size. We even took home leftovers for lunch. We had fried Rice and Mongolian Beef.

We ordered take out from Dao Kitchen from the lunch specials menu. The orange chicken was very good and it had a lot of sauce on it. It came with rice, a spring roll and and a crab puff. The black pepper fish was also very good. Price was very reasonable too. Definitely will be back!

We usually order take out but tonight we decided to change it up and dine in this time. The service is always friendly and attentive, even when we do take out. Ordered the Vegetable Egg Rolls to start and Pad Thai and Mongolian Beef for dinner. Always great food.

So happy to discover this restaurant, it is decorated very nicely and the staff is so friendly. I have been impressed with the quality of the food. The takeaway packaging is handled with care and secured nicely. Their homemade mustard is awesome if you like something very spicy.

Great place for lunch. Clean and friendly service. Lunch special available. Had the twice cooked pork. Very tasty and fresh ingredients. Comes with soup choices and egg roll. Best place around for Chinese food. Nicely decorated restaurant. Plenty of choices in their menu. Polite staff.
