Very cute park, but a hub for many that are without a home or many other necessities. Around dusk there was a woman walking around screaming like a banshee and this was normal to the "residents" of the park. Probably won't go again, but it has the potential to be a great place to be. The trees are so beautiful and despite some garbage that had been recently dumped, it was a nice, short visit.

Lots of homeless. Don’t recommend treading the grass as the chinos will hawk eye you from the tables. They act like everything is their collateral for the homeless drug debts. If you need rims for your bike they hide them in the trees in the back. Don’t go to the bathroom, it’s like jailyard kinda things there.

Awesome park!! It's clean.and .well manicured restrooms could use a little tlc... however the picnic area.. playground and the fact that it is a dog friendly park make up for it...

Very large park with many sports areas and even a pool. The downside though is the number of homeless and there is trash EVERYWHERE.

The grass is green but overgrown. Homeless people everywhere. Trash everywhere. I love the walking trail around the park but the homeless people make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome when you walk past their areas.

Big park, lately they have been doing construction which has hindered one of the front parking lots off of 35th ave. There are currently a lot of homeless people living there in tents etc. However they mind their own business and don't seem to bother anyone nor do they ask for anything.

Sooo many homeless people, which wouldn’t really be an issue for me if they didn’t leave their foil and needles all over the park.. it’s extremely sad..

Fun park for the kids, my older kids certainly enjoy it because it has a little kiddy Park as well as a park for larger kids. This location is usually full of kids as well as there is a local vendor that comes and sells drinks.

Loved it! Such a nice place to go for a walk, read a book, meditate. You can also practice various sports, have family picnics or enjoy a nice day out.

I had a blast at this park! It's super clean, with pretty flowers and cool playgrounds. I loved the picnic spots and shady trees. Great place for families or a relaxing day out. Will definitely come back!

Arizona Parks are not as nice as California. Because of the desert it takes a lot of water to keep the grass green here but the park was nice. Is green grass underneath the trees. December and everything here so it's hard to keep everything green it was a nice park.

The neighborhood park...has changed alot over the last 35yrs and can be quite sketchy at times but what can you do? No different than the rest of the neighborhood except were now the minority. It's easy to stay to yourself when you only speak English and not Sudanese or Spanish.

  • 2/5 Casey C. 4 years ago on Google
Grew up across the street. Now there are homeless people always sleeping there and for some reason people just sit in their vehicles there. Not illegal, just weird, go to work or go home after chilling for a bit I get that. Just sit there for hours though? Hmm. Anyways, it still has a playground for kids, baseball fields, pool area, abundant parking, plenty of soccer fields. Last year it smelled like sewer all summer. Hopefully that'll be better this year.

courts for Tennis,Basketball, fields for Soccer, Football, etc. & swimming pool. And it's the most tree shaded park in the entire West Side!

  • 2/5 Kristi B. 3 years ago on Google
Look I dont care.. normally. The homeless need a place to rest and get out of the heat. BUT.. ffs. The trash is aweful.. they've taken over the entire north side of the park and it's disgusting. Even the people who work for the city can't do their job and mow. Because THEY WONT MOVE FOR A MOMENT.. JUST EWWW

Not a good place to visit during this pandemic; there's a lot of homeless people around, plus public restroom are closed...but yet smell like crazy for people using them "outside". However, it's a nice park to take a walk, very shaded.

This is always a good park to go to. Lots of families all the time. Great place to walk and exercise. The community takes full advantage of this park utilizing all fields and space. Not many homeless people or drug users in sight so def a plus.

  • 4/5 Diana A. 1 year ago on Google
It's a small park off of 35th Avenue. There is shade but only where it's grassy. On the other hand the parking lot sure could use some shade. While there is a restroom near the tennis court, I haven't had to use quite yet so I cannot rate the restroom 🚻.

  • 3/5 Kailua L. 1 year ago on Google
Not a bad park, just walkaway distance from my apartment. Be on the look out for floods & muds, as well as homeless bikers on the road. It does need some clean up to do, I see glass shards on the ground, not very safe for walking with pets.

  • 4/5 Patricia R. 1 year ago on Google
The park is needing help by the people that go there and stay there by picking up trash and being polite and pick up after them selfes , others it's a park for children , teens and family we must remember the value of a public park and the residential , schools that are around there so pick up and show that you care by helping , being a helpful hand

Good size park 2 parking lots some cement paths tennis courts play equipment a pool for summer use Down side used to catch water off run population of homeless

Nice park where our group goes to feed the homeless and provide help to get them on their feet again

  • 3/5 Tyne L. 1 year ago on Google
A vibrant park with lot of activities throughout the day, a large playground for kids young and old - even some bar things to workout with (like pull ups, etc.). There's plenty of fields and tree-lined secluded areas. There are two schools nearby with lots of children. Plenty of water fountains installed through the park. The restrooms are not accessible - which leads to why my review is a lower score: the park is nice but there's lot of trash, broken bottles and overall infrastructure that just doesn't seem to be well maintained.

  • 3/5 Veronica R. 1 year ago on Google
This park is pretty big. Little leagues practice in the afternoons. Unfortunately the safety is poor. Bathrooms are occupied by homeless and do not allow kids to use the restrooms often.

  • 5/5 CHARLES L. 1 year ago on Google
This park is very close to not only where I lived growing up but also right in the middle of all of my schools as well. The park looks great but people have to agree that it is one of the best parks to jog, fastwalk,or just walk around by yourself or a loved one if you are getting exercise from walking.

  • 5/5 Michael H. 10 months ago on Google
Cielito park is a great family park located at 35th Ave and Cambell in the heart of the Alhambra district. There are always a few homeless people around and I don't feel like that's a problem because they live here in this neighborhood just like us A lot of these people grew up in this neighborhood. For them, there is nowhere else to go. Please treat them with respect." I'm just saying" Anyhow, this is a great park for picnics, barbeques, soccer games, tennis courts, B 🏀 and yes, rest room facilities!! Park closes at 10pm.

Tons of homeless people doing drugs here. Not a place to bring the kiddos. On the weekends there are soccer games with a ton of illegals, but if you love elotes carts there r plenty and in my opinion the best spot to get a great tostelocos!!! Besides all that it's a great place to kick it for a short amount of time
