I came here for dinner the other night, where I ordered the grilled oysters and the date cake for a light meal. The oysters, while the first one was tasty, after more than one it’s really much too salty. (Unfortunately, it went right through me that evening.) However, the date cake was fantastic with a delicious scoop of gelato. If I were to try this place again, I’d probably order something else next time.

Such a quaint, unassuming little place. Sparsely decorated, making it clear the focus is on their incredible food. Everything I tried was delicious. For starters the brussel sprouts and curry cauliflower were flavorful and light, the perfect way to start off a meal. For the main I ordered the duck confit fried rice and it was amazing. It was a bit of spicy which I loved and the duck was so tender and silky. Probably some of the best duck confit I’ve ever had. Overall it was a great dining experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in North Scottsdale.

Amazing food! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very minimal but the focus was all on the amazing food. I saw some mixed reviews about food being salty, but I found it to be tastefully seasoned. The server was very helpful and extremely mindful of our dietary needs too. Fantastic place!

One of the best meals I’ve had! Very quaint and cozy inside, delicious and creatively crafted drinks, good service, and amazing food. The flavor of each dish was unique and explosive. The deserts had this balance of sweet and salty and they were not overly sweet. It was just divine all around.

Terrific place to get fresh food with great flavors. They have a different take on a number of food items that are spectacular. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. They should up their game from their ordinary wine list and take the hush puppies off the menu.

This tiny little gem of a restaurant is easily one of my new faves in the valley. We don't live anywhere near it, but business landed us nearby, and we had to try it. Let me first say, when you see all these reviews saying it's tiny...it's TINY. But mighty! This little place has great energy. On a Wednesday night, we had to wait about 20 minutes. There's literally nowhere to wait, so we walked to a nearby place and grabbed a cocktail. Once we were seated, service was impeccable. It seems they take a team approach, as we interacted with multiple employees, and the owner/head chef, Dominic, actually brought us our appetizer! We started with the cauliflower app, and it is heavenly and impressive. You get an entire head of perfectly-roasted cauliflower drenched in harissa, and it comes with a delicious yogurt dipping sauce. I have craved it several times since this meal! Next, we got the NY strip and oxtail entrees. The steak was ahhhmazing, cooked perfectly and it comes with some type of fresh green salsa. Amazing! It came with a tremendous amount of fries that were also perfectly seasoned and crisp. The way the oxtail is described on the menu, you have no real idea of what you're getting. What came was innovative and yummy! Oxtail beef and giardiniera peppers over a thick slice of brioche, with all the juices soaking into the bread. It reminded me of an upscale, deconstructed Chicago beef sandwich. Also, they have a small but very well edited selection of local craft beers, and a full bar. The only minor complaint we had was about the menu. It's a long list with no 'titles' or categories (although it does start with apps at the top, then dinners etc, there is just no indication), so you have to read through the entire description to make your selections, and it is not easy on the eyes. I used the restroom before we left, and there's a childhood photo of Dominic, which really sealed the deal on winning me over. Such a cheeky, fun detail! We were too full for dessert, but will be making a special trip back soon for that date cake!

Scottsdale has a new foodie delight, dinner hangout. It is definitely a must go place for all food lovers in the valley. The owners have hit all the right notes in terms of the overall experience, and for parties of 2 definitely sit at the bar so you can watch the kitchen and bar at work. I'm so glad I decided to try my luck even though I was told their reservations are all filled up except for opening time. I do need to say something about the food...Sooo Yummm... Starting from the Crab Hush Puppies to the Date Cake, so delicious.

I had heard Hush was a must-try spot among the best restaurants in the Phoenix area, and the hype was well justified. Hush offers an eclectic menu of artistically presented dishes that explore unique flavor combinations with exciting results. The portions are perfect for sharing a variety of selections with your date, and speaking of dates, the date cake is fantastic! The atmosphere is pleasant and unpretentious, and the service is professional and efficient without being overbearing. The food takes center stage at Hush, and it puts on a show worth the price of admission. My wife and I look forward to returning soon for an encore.

AMAZING in the most unexpected PLACE. The Chef and his creations are Amazing. 5☆ restaurant with a small town feel. Next to Kierland, across from the Rooster. its a MUST.

Fantastic dinner. It's worth the price and the drive. We came from Queen Creek. I ordered the duck fried rice and my husband got the macaroni and cheese. So good! And we ordered the date cake. So light and slightly sweet. I really enjoyed the texture of the cake itself. Great evening! We'll be back

Amazing place that aims to use all local ingredients. We had a big selection of their rotating menu and everything was outstanding. My particular favorite was the steak frites or the duck fried rice. Nice mix of American, Japanese, even seafood. And the custom cocktail are also great. Would come back to try the different menus.

This is a foodie experience I’ve been chasing, and Hush delivered! Ambience is minimalist, yet clean and inviting; service is spot on; food is outstanding!!!! Can’t wait to go back, and bring friends! Placed in an odd location (very unassuming), but don’t Judge a book by its cover! Just go! Great wines by the glass, and cool craft cocktails! The menu is seasonal!

This pace offers a cool, intimate vibe. The duck fried rice is amazing but the crab hushpuppies they promote not so much. We tried quite a bit and it was 50/50 on the food but we appreciated the intimate atmosphere.

Wow! I don’t know why it took me so long to try Hush Public House. Everything we had was 10000! I was pleasantly surprised and I can’t wait to go back. The chicken liver moose was the best thing on the menu- I’ll literally go back just for that.

Hush is our favorite restaurant! We love coming for special birthday dinners or just regular date nights. The staff is always friendly and professional and the chefs are extremely talented! The new butternut risotto was heaven and the swordfish was the best we’ve ever had! Our bartender and server Sam was great! Very friendly and made our experience extra special. Thank you Hush!

This place Exceeded my expectations in every way! Their food and service are worth a try. We went during restaurant week and were able to try cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and 🍨 desserts. ALL GREAT!!!!!! The COCKTAILS ALONE make this establishment stand out. I Highly recommend you try their drinks with or without alcohol. Service was awesome. Dining room was kind of dark but Very Romantic! 😍

My friends came to me and said "you have to try this place!" I went, and had an amazing time! The food was spectacular! The restaurant is very inconspicuous from the front, but when you come inside, and see the kitchen, you know you are going to have a great experience! I had the duck fat fried rice, which was so good. I can't wait to come back! Definitely one of the best in town!

Chill spot, halibut was AMAZING! Risotto a little too salty. Not much atmosphere to speak of, the food does all the talking. And its good!

First time. What a phenomenal place. The food was top notch. Definitely recommend sharing dishes. The oysters, fried rice, scallops were all outstanding. The menu changes often which will keep subsequent visits new and exciting. This is definitely in my list of regular places moving forward.

Generally 5⭐️. Food, drinks, and service were great. Had the hush puppies, chicken mousse, duck rice, and oxtail. I’m not usually a fan of oxtail, but this was great! Worth getting. It’s essentially slow cooked beef over cheesy bread (yeah, the chef is not going to like that description 😂). The drinks were great too. Old fashioned checked all the boxes, single large ice, good bourbon, lemon twist. The Gin drink was amazing (I’m not usually a gin drink guy, but definitely #1 on their list).

Stopped in for a drink only during power hour. We had the Meet Me at Midnight and and another cocktail that we don't recall the name of. Cool vibe and our bartenders MIke & Sam were very personable and made a great cocktail. We had already eaten so we didn't try the food but it looked great and they have a very interesting and inventive menu.

As a foodie in any city we go to, it is hard to find that spot that blows your mind. Look no further, this is it! Every last bite was out of this world. The service was amazing, cocktails were amazing.... we will be putting this one in the regular rotation and recommending it to anyone who asks for a spot that has a perfect small atmosphere with the Chef dedicated to perfection. As Arnold would say “I’ll be back”

Went with a group of friends and had a great time and wonderful meal. APPS: The harissa fried cauliflower was very nice. Hint of spicy cooled down by the line cilantro yogurt. We enjoyed the chicken liver mousse with drunken cherries but I thought the mousse was much better on its own than with the cherries. Crab hush puppies were delicious as was the bacon. Every one thoroughly enjoyed their entrees. Lamb was delicious and the buccatini amatriciana was so flavorful, though I thought the portion was small. Roasted chicken was enjoyed very much by our party and I was told the Italian beef was exceptional tho I sadly didn't get to sample it. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Personally, I think it was an excellent choice made by friends we were out in AZ to visit. Specialty cocktails are available and they have a nice selection on the wine list. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and not at all hovering.

This is one of the best single dishes I have ever had (shredded oxtail on bread and smoked provone). The place is small but the menu and atmosphere is a pleasant surprise. Good signature cocktails also. I would go back if I'm in Scottsdale, AZ. Great place!

Looking at the outside, Hush looks very unassuming as it's in a stripmall. However, once walking in, you can tell this isn't an ordinary fast-casual/casual stripmall restaurant. The food was delicious, quick, and the service was very attentive. If you're a fan of bourbon or a goo old fashioned, try their spin on it!

Totally enjoyed our experience. Started with Salumi Board. Beautiful presentation. Delicious. Enough for 4, we took 1/2 home for tomorrow. Endive salad crisp, fresh & balanced. Spaghetti squash with shishito peppers delicious. Finished with scallop entree. Really good flavors & textures. Recommendations read on line were on point. Will try to get in again before heading back to Pgh. Great meal & service. Thanks!

It is unknown. It is a really well kept secret. It wont be for long. This is an absolute gem of a restaurant with authentic and one of a kind menu options and great festive atmosphere. I ordered the beef dish which may look strange but it was recommended by our waitress. Let me tell you, it was lean, beyond tender and terrific. In fact everything we ordered was great especially the white bean humus (sorry I forgot to take a picture). Be sure to make a reservation because it fills up fast!!
