This corporation expects their Ambassadors, the walking-talking human information desks combo concierges, to go "above and beyond" as per their motto for guests to downtown Phoenix. However, DTPHX does NOT even meet basic standards for their field staff. Training is a joke and DTPHX expects their employees to read the training and employee manuals on their own time. THAT'S ILLEGAL. Also, there's no support for new staff during their 90-day training period even despite emails written asking for more on-the-job training AND feedback to which the employee was told there was no negative feedback. The pass/fail criterion for the 90-day probation period is if you're liked by your condescending foreman. Emotional abuse at all levels, sexism, and racism are run rampant at DTPHX, but, given that Arizona is a right-to-fire state, good luck proving any-thing. FAVORITISM is also an integral part of the company culture. None of the non-favorites will say or do anything about these issues because they need their job. DTPHX has created a culture of fear among employees. And to top it off, one of the first responders, who is also one of the foremen, gives out poor medical advice that actually HURTS people and makes the situation WORSE. How's that for going "above and beyond"????

the ambassador Glen Palin horrible attitude. Had a huge chip on his shoulder, very rude. they need to take another look at this person. Doesn't belong in a people environment.

No longer in existence. Take down your site so you don’t mislead your supposedly valuable visitors.

We were fortunate to go on a group tour of Phoenix with Angelica and Kristine. They were both very welcoming and informative. Angelica who lead the group conveyed her love of the city and of its history. They both brought us through the city answering all our questions and balanced the tour with the needs of the group and allowed us to experience several highpoints along the way. We enjoyed the Phoenix police museum, Wells Fargo Museum, lunch at Friday's overlooking the ballpark and then to St. Mary's Basilica in the afternoon. Thankyou for the tour and all the work you put into it.

👍👍 I work at Desert West as a food delivery driver. Desert West caters to the elderly by serving lunch, afterwards they play game, watch movies or listen to music. Awesome place assisting the elderly.
