My new favorite Thai place! Beautiful atmosphere & the food is so flavorful & delicious. The staff was very friendly & helpful. You are able to remove ingredients from the dish you order if there's something you don't like & also able to pick your spice level. Will definitely be back again!!

First time going here and I absolutely loved it! The decor of the restaurant is so cute it feel authentic but modern! The food was delicious!!! The Thia wings are a must have!

Food was good, service was good, portions were small (compared to other Thai places around), and the prices were high average (but high for portion sizes). We spent about 85 (with tip) for 2 drinks, 2 appetizers, and two entrees.

Full of flavor food. Awesome experience , try to ton kat soup. Excellent, I try the chicken orange. Plenty of flavors. Very nice place and the server was very friendly. Not complains.

Recently visited Phoenix, AZ and am so happy the universe led me to Zen Thai Cafe. Some of the spiciest pineapple curry duck I’ve ever had, while still being bearable to consume and enjoy the flavors. Kinny was one of the most gracious hosts I’ve ever encountered. She’s a gem and an absolute rose. The chef came out to greet me, as my entree was being served, a smooth move that was appreciated greatly. The only thing I’d recommend, is serving the tentacles for the calamari as well; THEE best part of the squid, in my opinion. 🤤🦑 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

They took excellent care of me from the phone call to my pickup. As much as I can't stand downtown *due to parking* I'll def be back. I LOVE THAI FOOD, ESP IF ITS VEGAN & YUMMY! The yellow curry They made me with extra veggies instead of their vegan protein options was 🔥!!! I recommend going folks, the potatoes were smooth & soft to bite into! 🥰 I told them if the food was LIT I'd be back & they met my needs & wants✌🏽

Cool Thai restaurant downtown. The atmosphere was great, the spring rolls and food were fantastic. My wife loved the Thia tea. To finish our meal we had the fried bananas and coconut ice cream. Overall, this was a awesome gem in the downtown area.

Before talking about the food, I have to say I loved the space! The decor and feel of the Cafe was fantastic. They have unique couches for some of the tables and dimmed lighting (but enough to still see your menu and food). The staff was really kind and welcoming. Now for the meal; it was fantastic! We had some drinks and wings as appetizers (definitely get the wings) and then our full meals. All of it was savory and tasted great. I had the yellow curry and ordered it with medium spice. Recommend this place if you're looking for a chill atmosphere and great food.

Perfect!!!! I had the drunken noodles and my partner had the yellow curry. Both dishes were super tasty. We also enjoyed the spice level but we love spice!

Was recommended to this place by my coworkers so I was really excited to order from here for the first time. And here is what I got for $20. Food portion barely filled a quarter of the container, mango sticky rice was a bite size. This is a joke???

Best place for thai food and fun cocktails! We bring all of our friends and family here because not only is the cuisine good quality, the amazing staff is out of this world! The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing, good for older and younger adults. I've even sent families here before with kids. Overall this is a great place to visit when you are at downtown phoenix!

The food is really good and the woman who took my phone order was very sweet. We had the spicy basil with chicken and tom yum soup. The tom yum had great flavor and was souper yummy. She included some green spicy salsa type sauce on the side that had so much fresh flavor and heat! Delicious on the spicy basil. Will definitely go back.

Zen Thai hands down has THE BEST Asian fusion in Phoenix! Everything is great and everyone can eat here! They can make almost everything vegetarian/vegan if you would like! I absolutely LOVE Zen Thai. The food is always incredible, the cocktails are unique, the ambiance is perfect, and the Vegan/Vegetarian options are CLUTCH.

Real authentic Thai flavors. I've lived here a year and this is my new favorite location for great flavors. All the traditional Thai dishes are available like, Massaman curry and Kao Soi. I can't wait to try the eggplant! Rachel was pleasant and friendly. I highly recommend Zen Thai. They also have a lovely atmosphere for a great date night, as well as a full bar. I will be back.

Stopped in for drinks and had the Tom Kha. Delish! Our waitress was amazing! The Temple of the Down Dog is dangerous! You could easily drink way more! Loved the interior and the atmosphere. The music isn't to loud so you can hear your company conversation. Will definitely stop again!

I have been coming to Zen Thai for years since I started working downtown, and they never disappoint or skip a beat. Food is always hot and fresh, delicious, and very generous portions. Highly recommend their curry, drunken noodles, pad thai, and house fried rice. Best Thai food, hands down. And their service/professionalism is amazing!

Zen Thai is the best Thai restaurant in the entire southwest! They are so kind and the service is amazing. The food is made with so much love. They use organic ingredients when possible, including Non-gmo organic tofu. They are really good about helping people who have dietary restrictions like dairy/egg/meat. So great for vegans. Try their Panang curry, Hawaiian fried rice, and BBQ chicken. For appetizers the summer rolls are amazing!! And the wings are to die for!

Quite tasty Thai food with a sauce slightly on the sweet side. The tea was perfect. What stands out, however, is the service. The manager saw me struggling to hold my book up as I ate and he brought over a stand. Truly unique service in this modern world.

This was a random find and a diamond at that. The owner was super upbeat and welcoming. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was welcome and chill. The music was also cohesive with the vibe.

The ambience and the staff are really nice! The food options are good, but the portions are just big enough for one person! We tried the Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry, and Potstickers! All of them were good! Worth trying! ✌🏻

The atmosphere here definitely feels zen, it's super calm and relaxing. The waiter is fast and efficient and friendly. The zen wings were crispy and saucy. My yellow Currys flavor was on point. The meat and veggies were nice and ssoft. The highlight of this dinner is the fried fish with chili sauce, the crispness and tenderness of the fish was a fabulous combination. I would come here just for that dish.

Came in to celebrate my moms birthday, she was visiting from Tucson and requested Thai food. We loved everything. The waitress was delightful. The restaurant was safe and clean. The food was fantastic with lots of vegetarian options. I ordered the yellow curry with tofu and it was so creamy and yummy! 10/10 would recommend to any vegetarian/vegan/carnivore

The food was pretty good. Not the best, not the worst. The atmosphere was very nice and we were seated and ordered almost immediately. After getting our food, which came out pretty quickly, we didn’t see a server for a very long time. Which normally wouldn’t be too bad of an issue, but I ordered my dish hot and needed a refill of my drink, but only got one when it was too late to help. If the food was better I’d have brushed it off, but the OK food combined with not very attentive service post-meal delivery means 4 stars to me.

I have not had curry (massamam curry) this delicious since we moved from AK. Everything about this place screams YES! We were only in Phx for 3 days and it was so good I came back 3 days in a row to get this. My hubby got the drunken noodle twice and this curry on day three. And the mango dessert... Oh. My. Gawsh!!! The service was EXCELLENT. It took maybe 10 minutes from the time we ordered until our fresh hot plates were presented to us. This place is a gem of a find!

Good experience here. came on a Tuesday later at night and seated right away. It’s a smaller place so cozy vibes and a sit down dinner. I got the yellow curry and it’s good, pretty basic but always hits the spot. It was clean and service was fast. The employees were attentive and answered any questions. Definitely recommend.

Out of all the Thai food restaurants I've eaten at throughout Arizona, especially the greater Phoenix area, this is by far the best!!! Their customer service is excellent. They're quick and efficient. The atmosphere is a mix between traditional Thai and modern, including TVs at the bar area with sports on. Best of all, the food was delicious!!! There were 6 of us who ate here, and each one of us absolutely loved our food. Would highly recommend this place!!!

Wow. I eat a lot of Thai, but I was blown away by the quality of food at Zen. My yellow curry was bursting with flavor, and the curry itself wasn’t watered down like it is at most restaurants. The service was great, and the owner was so kind, gracious, and accommodating. Food came out really quickly even though they had a full restaurant. I wish this place were closer to where I live - truly phenomenal all the way around.

This Thai restaurant is amazing! I come here often for lunch today I tried for dinner. Service: was quick and fast employees are friendly and kind. Food: was amazing tasty and delicious. If you don’t like salty food just ask them to add less salt. What I Order from Menu? I order Ginger Angle with extra sauce. It was so tasty and delicious that I have to order extra cup of rice. I only wish they give little more rice with every order. Suggestion for restaurant Please don’t charge extra for rice. You already give less rice with large dish. Over all Experince was great. It’s only Thai restaurants in downtown give them try.

I love this place sooooo much i would eat here everyday if I lived closer!!!! The food is incredible and the fact that I can substitute vegan options with whatever dish is incredible! Dined here twice while in town for a conference. First time was for lunch, and second time for dinner. The food was exceptional each time! However, the atmosphere differed greatly from lunch to dinner. Dinner was rather odd from an atmosphere point of view. Loud rap music was playing to the point that we asked one of the kids to please turn down the volume. The two main staff were late teen to mid 20s and that might have had something to do with it. They did turn the music down but rap music just doesn’t complement Thai food and decor. During lunch the previous day, the staff were mature and there was no music; just a peaceful atmosphere to enjoy one’s meal. I’ve seen before, that - often when the owner or manager is away - the younger employees will commandeer the music and play whatever THEY like with no regard to atmosphere or decor matters. However, I’ll reiterate again: the food was superb! Just don’t let the kids take charge of the music. Easy 5 stars other than that.

My boyfriend and I got the small beef combo! It was so delicious. The workers will help you work the meat so all you have to do is eat! One thing I wish they had was better sides. My favorite is the fish cake but they didn't have that which was sad but other than that, the food was very fresh! Around $80 with tip, I guess that pretty average for the area!

Delicious Thai meal in the heart of downtown Phoenix. Great lunch specials at awesome prices. The Pad Thai was very good. Don’t miss the bubble tea! Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming.

I'm giving this 4 stars because of the parking situation. There's absolutely no parking in this lot. Would recommend taking someone along so that one can wait in line while the other looks for parking. Aside from this I would rate the food 5 stars.

DELICIOUS RAMEN!! We got takeout and had the pleasure of meeting Ron at the register. He is so kind and apparently the guy that makes the dishes super spicy (if requested). I got the mild Spicy Ramen (substituted chicken instead of pork belly), and my husband got the regular. We absolutely LOVED it. Also very good prices. Would 100% recommend!

Absolutely incredible! Delicious food in a fun setting with unique and cozy seating. Stopped in for our anniversary while passing through Phoenix and loved it! I am very sensitive to food additives and chemicals, so eating out when traveling can be a wild card for me, but I had no problems here which leads me to believe the food is very fresh. Thank you!

I drive 12 miles to get my chicken pad thai here. always awesome and they even customize it for me for no additional charge. great place to have lunch or dinner, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. i love it here because it has that downtown phoenix vibe. for dessert, i recommend the fried banana cheesecake- yes it’s as good as it sounds! crunchy outside shell and the banana + cheesecake inside is the bomb.

Red the reviews and came here as soon as we checked into our hotel which was only two blocks away. This restaurant lives up to its high reviews. I loved the Thai curry, next time will try the Penang curry. Ordered a 4 on spice scale and next time will order a 5. So good
