First time and will definitely go back. Went to see a band I had seen the weekend before at a bar close to my house in Mesa, they were really good so I wanted to see them again, Verry Cherry. So glad we did! This bar was welcoming, comfortable, biker and MC friendly (my husband is in a Club). Shout out to Mandy & Sara, for being top notch bartenders that Friday night. They were tipped the tab by us 😁 The food was delicious for "just bar food"....the french fries were the best I've ever tasted. Old Bay seasoning? I don't know, but so good. The prices were super fair, to the point that when I got my tab I thought something had been omitted possibly, but no, just great prices. The 3 pool tables were busy all night, everyone seemed to kind of know everyone and it never got wall to wall packed for a Friday which was cool with me, because that gave me a chance to chat up the bartenders a bit and get a feel for the place. Also a big plus, super clean ladies room!

And we can't forget to mention the staff, especially Lindsey! She's a fantastic bartender with a fun personality that will keep you entertained all night long. Whether you're in the mood for some good conversation or just want to kick back and relax, she's always up for a good time. Unfortunately I have to give this place a star, to post my experience.. I went here last week to catch up with some friends. Was a decent night, playing pool, until I received a notification of fraud from my bank account while I was still inside this bar, of my card being ran 3 times for over $60/e. That bartender had already taken off, by the time I went to question this. The bartender "sara", who was drinking when we arrived there, and decided to take over for the rest of the night, clearly drunk and serving, and became belligerent after I told another patron to mind their business after she was making racist remarks, as I was giving said drunk bartender "sara" my phone number, so she could notify her manager of what happened. I still have not received a call, refund or an apology. Thankfully I currently working on resolving this w/ my bank, since Gypsys doesn't seem phased by their employees stealing from their customers. They need to change the name to GYP BECAUSE THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THEY DO! & "Sara" should be fired or hit up AA because she was completely drunk, & could barely keep her eyes open to the point a customer asked her if she needed medical help. What a shame. Make sure you don't keep a tab open, and keep your cards locked until you are ready to close out, or pay. ZERO STARS!

Needing lunch, we stopped. Good Service, Reasonable sized Burger, with Good Flavor, Fair prices. While driving by it like a neighbor tavern, it is. We would return.

Saw a customer who was minding his own business, sitting and drinking a beer, get punched in the head from behind by a regular customer (according to the bartenders) and nothing was done about. This happened over the winter, I have not been back nor plan to.

You need 10 more Ava's!! She is awesome! This is the second time were grateful enough to have her as our bartender/server! Went out of her way to show us tee shirts (which we bought). The smashburger was out of this world and the dry rub wings....addictive! We will be back and Ava thank you for making our day:-)

I don't usually go to the bars but this was a cool kickback spot. And Lindsay is super effing hot! I recommend this place

Very chill, friendly atmosphere with mostly people from the neighborhood. Karaoke is fun on Thursday and Sunday. Wings are solid and bartenders are all sweethearts!

Loved this place...it was my fiance first time in a dive so it was interesting to watch him 😀 my drinks were SO GOOD the food was good as well. It was Karaoke 🎤 night and I enjoyed watching the locals perform FYI there were some really great singers 🙌🏾 I recommend the Top Shelf Long Island 🍸

Had a great experience. Live music, band played rock, and a few of their own songs. The bartender was really good, kept checking on us. Played pool. Definitely will return, great place to unwind

Great dive bar for food and entertainment. Live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Karaoke on Thursdays. Full bar and pool tables. The tacos and wings are fresh and delicious. Great staff and fast service. Patrons are friendly too.

Pretty cool spot. Just happened to stumble across. I had a burger that was on special 9 bucks. Mushroom Swiss something..... but wow it was delicious 🙌 would recommend this spot if your in the area. Bartender was cool as well.

Gypsy Roadhouse has a friendly staff and its karaoke Sunday was a lot of fun. DJ searched for hard to find songs and made sure the experience was good for singer and listener alike.

A clean dive..Stopped here before heading to the airport.. mad I didn't know of it sooner..9 dollar wings! $2 beers! Unheard of in 2022.. bartender Michelle was 🔥 nice vibe, everyone is welcome (blk chick) other than the couple snogging loudly beside me I enjoyed it!

Great dive bar, welcome to everyone and trust me everyone comes here! Great mix of peeps, live music on the weekends, pool tables, bar staff could be a tad more attentive when busy, but they get it done. Regular bar prices and they have food, never tried any but it looks good. If you are looking for live music, no cover, and dive bar vibes, this is the place! Loads of parking too.

I've been in multiple times and always order the same drink, yet the price varies EVERY time. It hurts me to not tip as I'm in the service industry as well, but today it happened..Needless to say I won't be returning. I've also never been carded. I am of age but still look young. Not a good way to run a business.

I know some of the staff personally. When they are on the job the job comes first. They are the true faces of Gypsy's Roadhouse. Popcorn machine, pool, claw machine, karaoke?! Lots of atmosphere to this hole in the wall dive. A true gem to the corner of Phoenix.

It was okay. Before my MC club brother passed we went here a lot. Service was always decent, depending on the time of day.

Tray the cook is amazing. The food is great! Jack the Bartender is very nice. Shawn the DJ for karaoke is talented!

The food was good but we had to wait for almost an hour and a half for it. Even then it came in pieces. My wife waited almost 2 hours for a bowl of mediocre chili. They really need to hire another bartender and retrain the one they have. We went on karaoke night and even the karaoke host was late. It seems the whole place runs on a clock that runs backwards

this is my absolute FAVORTIE bar to visit in Phoenix. I’ve been coming here for the past year and the people/community at this small little dive bar is soooo welcoming to anyone who comes in. Pool is cheap. Karaoke is a blast. Bar food is on point. And the drinks are nothing short of delicious. This is my go-to bar. All the bartenders are so attentive even on the busiest days/nights! Lindsey, Lexi, Jack, Summer, and Mandy are the ones I run into the most. All are so sweet and awesome to have conversations with. I never have a problem ordering drinks or food and I always feel so welcomed by each bartender mentioned above. I mainly see Lexi and she knows how to make the night so fun and I always feel so taken care of!

Lexi is the best bartender ever, she works very well under pressure and is super nice and very welcoming. I am definitely going to be coming back. I love the vibes and how hard the bartenders works especially if it’s only one person working!🖤🤘🏼

An excellent little dive bar. Cheap beer and food and full coverage of all the major sporting events. Reminded me of some cracking pubs back home in Manchester (UK)

Only stopped in and had a beer but the staff was friendly, prices are in line with everywhere else, the place was clean and there was a pretty good band playing. I'd definitely go again.

Summer is awesome! She can multi-task and handles the demands of drunkard customers with efficiency!. She is always hustling and moving and keeping on top of her game!

Another local type hang out. Gypsy's is a quieter place than some but has a good clientele who know how to have a good time! Cold beer and service with a smile! We will be back for karaoke on Thursdays and Saturdays!

Ordered mozzarella sticks, onion rings, wings & quite a few rounds of drinks after we felt the vibes out. Fast service from the moment we entered. Food was good and hot. Drinks were decently priced. What seems like the mix of karaoke night regulars were super friendly and we had a blast. Would def love a better sound system if karaoke is a staple, but this was a great time and we will be back !!

Nice easy going nieghborhood bar they serve good had a cheese burger it was frozen before they put it on the grill ( kind of chewy) but not bad love the pickles potato salad was ok a little undercooked for my taste but still decent I would eat there again just not go out of my way to do it

I was looking for somewhere to play pool so yeah it has 3 tables but when I went it was a Saturday nite and it was pretty dead so not sure if it was an off nite but they did have a band and they were pretty good.
