Stellar
mead,
but
lackluster
food.
DRINKS:
I
cannot
emphasize
how
delightful
the
mead
is.
The
flights
are
a
great
way
to
expose
yourself
to
different
meads
and
refine
your
preferences.
I’ve
been
here
on
several
occasions,
and
there’s
always
something
new
to
try.
Each
mead
is
truly
its
own
unique
flavor
experience.
MAINS:
With
that
being
said,
the
food
is
lacking.
I’ve
tried
3
main
courses
on
3
different
occasions:
the
bao
trio,
hangover
arepas,
and
beeline
cheeseburger.
Out
of
the
three,
the
cheeseburger
was
the
best
tasting,
but
that’s
not
saying
much.
The
buns
were
crumbly
and
dry,
which
detracted
from
the
overall
taste.
For
the
cost,
I
would’ve
expected
better.
In
fact,
I’d
bet
on
a
fast
food
joint’s
burger
winning
over
Superstition’s
any
day.
And
as
someone
who
is
both
Asian
and
Latina,
the
bao
and
arepas
were
not
only
inauthentic,
but
just
not
good.
Personally,
in
the
future
I
would
rather
grab
food
elsewhere
than
eat
here.
APPETIZERS:
You
can’t
go
wrong
with
their
more
classic
sides,
like
fries
and
onion
rings.
They
won’t
blow
your
socks
off,
but
the
do
the
trick.
However,
I’d
stray
away
from
their
bruschetta
boards
or
mac
n
cheese.
The
bruschetta
was
composed
of
thick
slices
of
bread,
with
very
little
spread,
making
each
bite
a
dry,
unflavorful,
and
unsatisfying
filling
experience.
On
another
note,
the
mac
n
cheese
was
soupy.
And
any
hint
of
cheese
flavor
was
overpowered
by
other
ingredients.
Overall,
I’d
stick
to
the
sides
over
appetizers.
SERVICE:
Out
of
the
three
times
I’ve
visited,
I’ve
had
a
range
of
experiences.
Two
were
extremely
positive,
but
one
was
particularly
bad.
In
that
instance,
the
waitress
inattentive
(despite
the
meadery
being
largely
empty)
and
made
sarcastic
and
condescending
remarks.
I’d
say
the
service
is
mostly
good
but
can
be
a
hit-or-miss.
