What has happened to Panera? The "signature" chicken sandwich looks like they ran to McDonald's and picked it up. Seriously McDonald's has a better looking chicken sandwich then this place. The flatbread pizza has less toppings on the little caesars. The bbq chicken was a pile of chopped up lunch meat with some sauce sloped on top of it. What a complete and utter disappointment. Don't waste your money on this poorly prepared mess they call "fresh". Over priced microwaved food that's just down right nasty. Panera needs to go to Popeyes and look at their chicken sandwich to learn what a real "signature" chicken sandwich should look and taste like. What an expensive fail. I have no clue how Panera operating revenue increased with the slop they are serving. Or is it that customers just don't care and like to waste money on a brand and not the quality they supposedly serve?

For a fast causal place, it's pretty good. Don't fool yourself into thinking your getting sit down service meals but instead fast healthier alternative foods. Meals have been good so far at this location. Thumbs up.

Great customer service. They have a very nice system between dining and takeout. First time in it’s not cheap Compared to another places with healthy food.

I ordered my food thru the app. I requested NO bread with the soup and NO lettuce on the half sandwich. I hate to waste food by throwing unwanted or unneeded food away. Also regarding the sandwich, I bought a half sandwich but received only enough chicken salad for one-quarter of a sandwich! I frequently go to 2 other Paneras and have NEVER had a bad experience, it's highly doubtful that I would bother returning to this location in the future.

So im a fast food and bar menu type person. So healthy places to eat is a rarity for me. However, Im always ready to try. Okay so, my normal walk thru. This place follows all, and i mean all, safety covid protocols. Extremely clean. For a first timer the menu is a tad intimidating, however everybody around used it effectively well. I would suggest 1st timers, download the menu before you walk in. Lots of indoor seating and outdoor as well. Delivery and curbside service. Manager team excellent and staff friendly. Great food and hearty sizes. I really like atmosphere and music. Lpts of parking and easy access. Next time i will do a little more research on what do order. Highly recommended. Taste are still great!

We were so hungry I didn't take any pictures before we ate up almost all of our food and it was great good to every last bite 😋

The staff was very kind and helpful. The food is always delicious. The only reason that this place didn't get 5 stars is just that the menu is not easily accessible to look at as a whole unless you go online. It was a bit complicated to pick out exactly what we were looking for since the menu that was shown was very limited and there was not way for us to see everything that is offered. I had a great experience otherwise. Definitely will be going back.

Have picked up orders and ordered door dash, food always fresh, and good staff always awesome and friendly love the salads and macaroni and cheese!! Only thing I wish they had is a salad with blue cheese, cranberries,spinach,and chicken breast but I am waiting!! Lol We almost always get a salad and soup or mac and cheese or sandwich, love. You guys are the best keep up the awesome work!!

It's so close to my home so i continue to go here. but if a had another one near i would drive there instead. i could start my own cookie store with the amount of free treats they owe me for getting my order wrong. in SEVERAL occasions i have to park and get off my car to have them correct my order, kinda ruins the point of a drive thru. Food is good, just make sure to ALWAYS check your order before you leave.

Ordered through the drive thru. Staff asked if we had questions about the menu or if we would like recommendations. I thought that was great service. We ordered pepperoni flat bread, crust could have been more crispy, was still doughy. Got the strawberry mint drink and it was delicious and refreshing. It came with a free pastry too. Will go back

This review is ONLY for this visit. I went there to try the new chicken sandwich they came out with. DON'T BOTHER!!! what a rip! it's no where near the size they show on the commercial or the coupon adds. Plus it doesn't look anything like the commercial ( as far as ingredients, mine was missing some) and as far as taste, it was nothing to write home about. You couldn't blame it on a "rush" or "short staffed" because there were only 5 other customers in restaurant when I was there and 2 of them had already been served. The staff were very nice and helpful as always. The restaurant and restrooms were clean as always. I have always had great sandwiches and salads there in the past. I will go back to them instead. STAY AWAY FROM THE CHICKEN SANDWICH

To go was VERY disappointing...my turkey Avo BLT had brown lettuce and brown avocado in my sandwich with barely any avocado in it! Also, no pickles included😡 for any of the 3 sandwiches ordered and NO mayo on any of them! AND, French onion soup had no cheese or croutons for his soup included! Check your orders before leaving!!

Just got to our hotel after 12 hours on the road. Didn't feel like driving to pick up food so I went to order delivery through the app. The app had no delivery option so I ordered through door dash. Food didn't take too long to get here, everything was correct except we were missing a bowl broccoli cheese soup. Tried calling several times and couldn't get through to anyone. Not worth getting back into the car to navigate a city we have never been to after being in the car all day just to try to get our soup (we are only here for the night). For what we paid for our order though I'm disappointed, especially not being able to get ahold of anyone at the store.

$12.91 for this small chicken sandwich?!?!? Theyare ripping people off to the max! Had i known i wouldnt have went through the drive thru. It is small af! Wing stop has a chicken sandwhich with badass fries and a drink for 7.99 or 8.99. This is beyond a joke, if it were double the size maybe id pay this, but its tiny, im still hungry af. In comparison is a deck of cards next to the kids size sandwich. The chicken dont even cover the bun, a chik filet sandwhich is bigger. Costly mistake, never again. Heres what a $8 chicken sandwhich meal looks like from wingstop.

Ordered two special made bagel sandwiches with American cheese. The order taker was rushing to give us the total and keyed in one of their breakfast sandwiches and just subbed out the bread which caused us to get the wrong cheese on our sandwiches. The manager would not remake the sandwiches and said that we did not say American cheese. We specified each item individually that we wanted on the sandwiches so how did they decide what kind of cheese to put on the sandwiches if we didn't specify?? We asked for a refund if she was not going to make them again. She Issued the refund and took the food back. We asked her why she would rather lose a customer and throw away the food than to remake it. She said because they didn't make the order wrong. This is a testament to how unimportant customer satisfaction is to this manager. She basically said it was their word against ours, their word was the truth and she wasn't going to go there with that fact. As to note, we were very polite the whole time and never raised our voice or gave any attitude. This manager should be retrained on how to treat customers as we will not be giving them our business anymore. She would rather throw away food and lose money than to satisfy a customer.

I love Panera bread. My only complaint is they don't make enough quiches for the day. They're usually out by the time I'm ready to eat. But service is always good and I am loving thier new lemonades. I am a sip club member so for $12 I get unlimited drinks all month. It's so worth it. Especially those strawberry mint flavor and they are charged with caffeine. They are awesome. The chicken salad half sandwich is perfect for a lite lunch. The flavors of the chicken salad blend beautifully with the soft bread. It's a real treat!!

The restaurant and restaurants are very clean. The food was excellent. The service was okay. We had to take a minute to decide to order and then the person walked away and we ended up having to order on the kiosk and there were no pages available so I had to just do it as to go and then we ate it in the restaurant. That said, they were all very kind and quick and the dining room was very clean and had many seats available and there was good upfront parking. Overall excellent experience.

Absolutely amazing location! My favorite location in the Phoenix area! Great layout of the dining room and always clean and picked up! This location still has actual straws which is a plus :) The staff is very friendly and professional and attentive. It seems like the employees enjoy their job which is always a plus. The new value duets are very resonably priced and have an amazing atmosphere.

Manager said she’d remake my meal after I received a hair in my food and I drove all the way here only to find she would only remake my side dish. Not very clean nor a great customer service experience. Disappointing.

This isn't like other panera. It's in the ghetto and the management team acts like it. Refused to remake a sandwich and then told me to look the corporate number up myself. Luckily, corporate refunded my order and apologized. Panara remains awesome. Just avoid this location.

First time here and it wasn’t bad. We waited for our number/name to be called and finally went up to the counter to find our food just sitting there. Not sure how long it sat but it wasn’t as hot as it could have been. Other then that we had a decent experience.. will be back to try some other food options.

This is definitely not my Panera even though it's the closest one to my place. I prefer the one out on 76th avenue and Bell. The Arrowhead location-not in the mall. It's on Bell road. It's much cleaner, nicer & bigger. This location is cluttered with tables and if you're big like me, It's hard to maneuver-very uncomfortable seating arrangements. *I will go out of my way to go to the Arrowhead location from here on out dash because I love Panera!

Good coffee, great fresh baked breads. The pastry selection isn't very predictable so don't go expecting the same selection. But the pastries are very good. It's more of a specialty restaurant, so the prices will be a bit high. If pricing isn't an issue, it's a really nice restaurant.

Very different experience. You place your order at a kiosk and at the end of the transaction you are prompted to leave a tip. For what? I placed my own order and picked it up from the counter. I ordered a pick two with soup and salad. It was okay. Also ordered a muffin that was not worth the $3.79. The best part of my meal was the apple. I was the only person in the restaurant cleaning my own table off and the associate in the dining room was put out that she had to go to a different trashcan because I was in her way.

1st time and everything was fresh and delicious. I had salad and the broccoli soup! Delicious 😋 I am going back for the sandwiches. There was so much on the menu. It made it very hard to choose. Panera Bread! I walked away a very happy customer and I will be back! Keep up the great work!

Service? They want you to order your own food on a tablet and No one to deliver food to a table. It is chaos waiting at kitchen window and things are not very organized. But they do prepare the food quickly.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Marcos deserves a raise. He really helped me out this afternoon. The whole staff was friendly, kind and professional. This location is extremely CLEAN and WELL MAINTAINED. The ginger mint tea was great.

Nice place. Easy to get to. Large parking loy and located in Metro Center. Inside it is clean and bright. Very comfortable and well laid out. Coffee and bagels are good. But you will not get french fries or eggs and home fries here. The menu is geared to a healthier lunch. There are some egg sandwiches but not really a breakfast restaurant. When I have been to this and a couple of other locations all the employees have been polite, friendly and helpful. And you can ask them to make something special or different and they will try to accommodate your request.

Bad service they made us order by a machine that we said was not working we waited more than 20 min. the person who came up supposedly to help made us wait another 10 min. I do not use gloves to give us the glasses very disappointed because this place was one of my favorites

The parking has spots for curbside delivery. The signs in the parking poles say to stay in your car. I placed a mobile curbside order. We waited for 20 minutes. No one came out to us, but they came to give out orders to other people. I finally went inside to see what happened & turns out my order had been sitting on the pick-up shelf for awhile. They were going to leave my order there forever. Worst Panera Bread experience ever.

Cafe food here - very good. There was fast and courteous service. This place has a great feel to it. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I loved.

Different presentation of food, well seasoned excellent choices, clean store. You can use the kiosk to order so you don't have to interact if you don't want to.

Chx soup is amazing for standard american typical kitchen soup. Good flavor. Pepp flat bread pizza eh, its alright. Ill try another flavor soon... Turkey blt looks better then it tastes. Very generous amounts. Pretty pricy.

We ate in the patio, and enjoyed the meal with great weather. I needed more napkins, and tried going back inside. To my surprise, the door was locked. I had to go around to the front door to get back inside. About 20 minutes later, we needed a refill on our soft drinks. I again tried to get back inside, and again the door was locked. Very frustrating!!!

Don't mess with my Turkey chili, it's awesome I tried it for the 1st time in Virginia, now in Phoenix again, ... same flavor, same pleasure, I mean they keep the standards, I think I'm addicted now.

Very rare I'll give a place five stars after just one visit but we absolutely loved this place. Food - tasty, generous portions, good quality. What else can be said? Service- stellar and we loved how friendly the owner is and he sometimes helps bring out the food. Over amazing staff and owner. Parking - if you come earlier, you're fighting with the bank and grocery store customers for parking. After about 7pm, plentiful parking. Well to be clear: LA-plentiful, not west Texas- plentiful.

Came in to the store today. With all this pandemic protocols going on I guess other restaurants have me spoiled by thier sanitary conditions. This place was flirty dirty and not a clean table to dine in at. Our dine in buzzer never went off, we sat for a good 30 mins. Still no ones cleaning, our food was cold because it sat at the counter. It's not busy, the manager just don't care. This place is a lackadaisical hazard to your health and a overpriced annoying situation.

Very disappointing came here with my wife for a lunch date! Every table was dirty even the the tables that couldn't be used was filthy the whole time we was here no one bust a single table, gross! Wont be back to this location!

The quality at this Panera has really gone down. I feel it has so much that I won't be back. I ordered a turkey avocado blt with chips and the chocolate chip oatmeal chippers. The chippers were hard as rocks. The chips were good. I didn't realize they switched my sandwich for someone else's until I got home, a chicken salad sandwich. It smelled bad so I took it back and they replaced it for me for the correct one. The turkey avocado blt was not very appealing either, nor was it worth the additional 10 miles I had to drive to get it. At least the chips were good. Save your time and money and go to the Jason's Deli across the street from here.
