A wonderful little gem in lower Arcadia. Caring staff and wonderful vet. Dr. Olivia Pan. They provide a lot of different services and we have used her over the years. Diabetic dog, labs, x-rays all on site Today we used her for euthanasia. It's the second time we've done it and for such a difficult experience she and her staff made it a very loving transition. They let us hold her while they administered the medication, they let us stay as long as we wanted and also offer cremation and paw prints as well. They are both pet and person focused here. Dr. Pan is the perfect blend of professionalism and compassion. Thank you

Dont be 10 minutes late or you will get hit for $40. I felt like i was just being prepped for upsells. Unneeded blood work, i go in for a simple visit and they tried to hit me for nearly $500. $78 visit fee. Dr. Didnt seem to care if she couldnt make money. There are much better options available. I wouldnt trust them. You can tell when people actually care. Didn't feel that here.

Terrible vet. They fabricate problems with your pet and complete unnecessary tests just to charge you more. My pet requires a medication and they refused to approve it through chewy and made me buy it from them at double the cost. Make unnecessary appointments just to charge you more. Made ludicrous surgery suggestions, so they could make more money. I couldn’t advise against this vet more.

Kind and compassionate staff. My dog was sick and he needed to be seen sooner rather than later. I was able to get him in as a new patient in only a few days. He was nervous and they were really patient and sweet to him while giving him a thorough exam.

Such a friendly staff! I could tell they all genuinely cared about both of my fur babies before even meeting them, they were very welcoming when we came in and greeted the kitties with a ton of love. I felt like my babies were in good hands and they answered all my questions thoroughly.

I love this vet office!! They show true compassion and I feel assured that they always treat my dog with the utmost respect. Truly, the entire team puts their best foot forward time and time again to ensure the wellbeing of my dog, Frankenstein.

Great clinic. They are warm and gentle with my puppy. The vet sat with me and answered all my questions. They even discussed my bill before charging, so I could remove extras and bring the cost down.

The Doctors and Techs are very experienced pro's. Our pets get the absolute best treatment and care there. This is how veterinarian medicine should always be.

Dr Pam is amazing with our Walter and all of the staff is so caring, understanding and helpful it takes all the anxiety out of going to the vet. They take their time talking to you and make sure every concern is addressed and will go over the care plan pricing before anything is done so there’s no surprised at check out. This is a wonderful animal hospital and I’m so happy we found them!

New to Arizona, and trying to pick a vet to establish at. This was the worst vet experience we have ever had. Our dog was diagnosed with pneumonia a couple weeks ago at a different vet in Oregon. She's been improving, but we wanted to do a recheck to see if more antibiotics were necessary. She also has an object stuck in her stomach that isn't currently causing any problems, but we mentioned that as well just in case. Everything was going alright up until the point they brought the quote out. They quoted separate charges for X-rays of the thorax and abdomen plus a $175 radiograph consultation fee. I asked why there were separate radiograph charges because the previous vet caught the foreign object in the stomach while xraying for the pneumonia. The vet tech said they weren't sure where it was and would need to take the extra radiographs to see everything. When I asked about the consultation fee, they said they don't have a vet there that reads radiographs so they need to get it seen by someone else. I've never seen (that I can think of) a charge like this before. I told them I can't afford the abdomen x-ray, so we want to take that one off. Either way that's less of a priority since our dog is pooping normally and isn't experiencing discomfort from the foreign object. So they take the X-rays, and the vet comes back to report the results. They say the pneumonia is improving, and the foreign object is still in the stomach. This of course made me really worried I was about to get charged for the x-ray I said not to do. So when I reiterated that we had said we didn't want the abdomen x-ray, the doctor said oh we could see it from the thorax x-ray. This is where I started to get annoyed. I said something along the line of "so I was almost charged for the extra x-ray and wasted money (a couple hundred dollars) on something that didn't need to be done?" And the vet said "well we didn't know where the object was, we didn't look at the previous radiograph" (for clarity: the X-rays I already had done at a different vet). So now I'm angry. I said yes, but the only reason we didn't do that abdomen one was because I said I couldn't afford it. So it would have been done and been a huge waste of money if I could afford it. And the vet said "wweelllllll we didn't" like oh well it's all good because you couldn't afford it anyway... The vet told me they didn't appreciate my tone because they're doing all this stuff. And I said you're not doing me a favor, you're providing me a service that I'm paying for. It was all so unprofessional and they had zero remorse for the fact that I was almost charged several hundred extra for their lack of diligence. I can't imagine a world in which I do a bad job providing a service for someone, so they get upset, and I tell them well I'm just doing all this stuff like it's somehow okay. On top of that, the meds we left with cost almost 10 times what they would have at pharmacy. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

It was my first time ever walking into the vet not knowing what to do and their staff was very very helpful in explaining everything clearly Very thankful with the staff that immediately attended my dog that was severely injured when I walked in and not turning us down. Because of the doctor and staff my dog is still here with me.

Wonderful all around. My little kitten was very sick on a Saturday morning and trying to avoid going to an ER I called around local clinics and Dr. Pan and her team were able to get me a last minute appointment. They treated my kitten with the upmost compassion and very attentive care. Everything was very transparent in terms of pricing/what was needed and what was optional/and the outlook for the animal. If you want the gold standard treatment for your pet I highly recommend this practice. (Also yes the kitten is doing better now)

12/14/23 - Took my dog here today. The staff was absolutely amazing from booking the appt to getting checked in to the care and options given to me by the Dr. I never felt rushed, never felt belittled, I felt like I was in control of the whole situation while the staff was there to provide answers and guidance for the treatment options. Dr. Pan was amazing along with the Technician, I think Chris was his name (Sorry if I was wrong), who helped and sat and talked with me while we took care of Buddha. If you have a pet in need of Vet help, call this place first. You don't need anyone else.

Took my cat with an ear infection here today for the first time and was very impressed with Dr Grove and Tech Jonathan. Dr Grove was excellent, very knowledgeable and caring. Jonathan was quite competent and very gentle with my kitty. This will be my permanent veterinary practice! I highly recommend. My cat was diagnosed and treated promptly. Standard veterinary pricing for services. UPDATE: Returned for a follow up visit, met Dr Pan. AMAZING! She was excellent. These two Drs are the best I have ever encountered. This is the best animal hospital in the valley! Also excellent mid-town location, right at 46th St and Thomas. You can have complete confidence that you pet will get the best care here.

Dr. Pan is amazing. She is personable, knowledgeable, and explains things directly and professionally. The techs are polite and genuinely seem concerned for everyone's pet. Every vet clinic is in business to make money, but this clinic does it's best not to break the bank.

Dr. Pan has been the best vet I’ve ever worked with in AZ! I was previously taking my pets to an animal hospital in Scottsdale that only took walk ins and we waited long hours just to get in with crazy high prices. Let alone, one of my dog’s is very anxious so that was not good for her to sit and wait every time. Both my lab and chihuahua mix have needed care in the past 2 weeks and they took them in for short turnaround appointments with a resolution to the problem with both of the issues they were having. She is very sweet and my dogs both feel comforted by her. For those of you working too, she gets you in and out very quickly! The whole staff is very nice and prices are very reasonable as well. I took my dog Jarvis in to get his ears checked. Dr. Pan is amazing. Everyone there was very nice and they showed me how to clean his ears at home.

Glad I found this place... a couple of years ago.. One of my dogs got sick didn’t have appointment but they were able to squeeze him and Dr. Pan was there she took care of the issue. After that I only take my dogs to her. She is very professional and informative. She even recommended the best dog groomer to help my goldendoodle with his very sensitive skin, he used to get so sick after grooming but not anymore. She has treated my dogs from an ear infection to Mastectomy Surgery and even Seizures. Needless to say she is great and very knowledgeable and always there to help. Thank you Dr. Olivia Pan.

Dr. Olivia Pan is a loving, caring vet. We are so happy to have her taking such great care of our beloved 13 year old goldendoodle, "Mackie". Two years ago, Dr. Pan detected a tumor, which turned out to be cancerous. We feel like Dr. Pan saved our doggie's life by detecting the tumor early. We had the tumor removed, and Mackie has been cancer free ever since. We just had an ultrasound done, and are so thrilled that it was all clear. Dr. Pan performed a surgery for Mackie in January 2020 to remove a non-cancerous growth, which turned out perfectly and has never returned. We find the staff to be very friendly, helpful, and caring. Thank you!!!

This vet was chosen after I read the reviews and took a realistic view of what I read. I have taken both of the dogs on separate appointments this week. I was very happy with both appointments. One dog had a total meltdown and really not totally examined because of his meltdown, as I would expect from any provider. He was treated with excellent care, as much as was allowed. He also was completely accepted and understood by staff. They are willing to work with us in coordinated care to get him calm enough to have a proper check up. Talk about patience!! My other pup is total opposite. Happy to be there, cooperative. Even when an ear infection was discovered and treatment done, no issues. Again, the excellent, communicative staff made the visit easy. I understood what was being said and explained, making a sound decision easy. My dog was treated. I was educated on her particular needs and I HAPPILY recommend this office!!! Give Dr. Pan and her amazing staff an opportunity to help your fur family. I am glad I did, fur sure! LOL...couldn't help myself. Fur sure it was a funny opportunity! 😂

Dr. Pan is amazing! She is literally the best veterinarian that I’ve ever visited. She is patient with both of my cats as well as their stressed out cat parents. One of my cats is a grumpy girl and she is so good with her despite all of her kitty drama. She is super knowledgeable and helpful. The vet techs are all amazing as well. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend for your fur babies.

Dr. Pan and Vanessa and the front desk staff are truly amazing. My kitty is pretty calm and she was hard to get to leave because she was so happy there! They were so kind, generous with their lovins on my girl and took the time to answer any concerns I had. I am so thankful I found this vet and will go to them as long as I am in the state!

Love this place. All of their staff are wonderful and Dr. Pan is amazing with my animals and super helpful. I've never been somewhere where they know my dogs simply by name, and I love that.

Dr. Pan is awesome. She came highly recommended in the Arcadia Living Group on Facebook and I wholeheartedly agree with everyone’s kind words about her since becoming a patient in mid 2021. We are on a journey with lymphoma with my 8 year old Doberman and everyone at the office has been amazing. It’s nice to have an awesome vet so close to home.

She advises on general care and health and let’s you know what is the most important thing you can do for the health and happiness of your dog. Dr. Pan and everyone I’ve met is wonderful! Chunk and I feel like family every time we come in. There’s no B.S. and they take amazing care of every animal who comes in. Highly recommend to anyone in need of a vet or not liking their current situation.

My dog was suffering from severe allergies due to what could've been either a food allergy or an environmental allergy. He was always itching & biting at himself. We went to another vet clinic before DVAH & to put it simply, he was given a diagnosis of allergies, but we weren't offered very many options & their treatment did not work. I felt as though we needed a second opinion so we decided to go to Desert View Animal Hospital. The vet who examined my dog was Dr. Pan, who is amazing at what she does. She's very kind, & you can tell she knows her stuff. Right off the bat I noticed she did a more thorough examination than the previous vet did. She also offered the same diagnosis (severe allergic reaction), but gave us more options as far as treatment goes. We went with a couple options to rid my dog of the allergic reaction & to soothe his urge to scratch. It's been about a week since then & my dog has almost completely stopped itching! Which is incredible when you consider the fact that he was constantly scratching himself just about every minute of every day for months! It's a miracle lol. I'm hoping the progress is permanent & my boy no longer has to suffer with his allergy symptoms. As far as pricing goes... it could be better. $111 for a 24 lb of special dog food (which might be needed for the rest of my dog's life if it works) seems outrageous, especially if I have to buy it twice a month from now on 😬 For that reason I'm giving this place 4 stars. Long story short, I recommend this place. I don't think I'll be taking my dog anywhere else but here for a long time!

Best vet practice hands-down! They welcome your fur baby, like they are one of the family. Everything was thoroughly explained, prices were reasonable, and I felt confident that my dog was getting the best care! I also have to give a shout out to the front office staff. They are so fun and kind. It makes for a wonderful experience.

I've had to rehome my cat due to pandemic problems & not had a home of my own for a year and a half. Finally getting my kitty back from folks who would not administer regular subcutaneous fluids today. So I wanted to start again right away. This vet is, of course, more interested in money. I don't mind bringing my cat in, but for example pet food stores don't even ask for new prescriptions for kidney food because that never changes. Once they go on they never go off. Kidney failure isn't going to change. 🤷‍♂️ And again I'd have been glad to set an appointment if they had demonstrated a concern for my cat first, and their profit second. But they didn't. In reply to their response: Large corporate chains, with far more attorneys at their disposal, do not in fact make the same decisions or claim this is the law. For end of life conditions that will not ever get better they just keep honoring the prescription. I'd say stick to caring for animals, but you are clearly neither good at the law or your own job.

Dr. Pan is beyond helpful and compassionate!! She was able to get my dog in for a last minute visit and doesn’t over charge for her services. I’ve been to veterinarians all over the valley and Dr. Pan is the only one I’ve found that doesn’t charge for useless tests and treatments.
