Despite my husband having a decent experience with Dr. Kubitz, but experiencing frustration with the money grabbing atmosphere the office had become to be, I decided I would give him a shot myself. Initially, Dr. Kubitz seemed to take his time and was invested in being a decent physician. We discussed that I would need to get x-rays and then he would call me to discuss the next steps since I was a cash pay patient. He understood that being a cash pay patient coming in to discuss x-ray results would be unnecessary and repeatedly told me he would call me. He had lied. He refused to give me my results/next steps and insisted I needed to come in or do a phone appointment for additional money. Please note- I was NOT looking for medication, but simply a plan moving forward to combat some hip/lower back pain. How can a physician expect trust if they lie at the beginning of the patient doctor relationship? Dr. Kubitz is just as we thought- all in for the money and very little care for the patient. I decided to transfer my file to a new pain doctor and just to be spiteful Dr. Kubitz signed my release form as dismissing me due to me being disrespectful to him. Ha! That’s funny. Good one, Dr. Kubitz. Hope you enjoy your next trip to Hawaii. To any new patients looking for a trustworthy physician, he’s not it. Save your time and money.

I have been a patient Arizona pain consultants for quite a few years, Doctor Grove is a really great doctor always make sure that your listen to and they try to do everything that they can to help you. I also see Heather and she is pretty amazing yourself again always making sure that your needs are taken care of and they go above and beyond what they need to do to make sure that you're going to be okay. The office staff is really nice and friendly. The only negative thing that I would have to say about the offices that it's very hard sometimes to have them contact you back but that is been getting better so it has improved quite a bit. I would highly recommend them.

Dr Bui is a true gentleman, a great human being and an amazing physician. He is through, considerate and very understanding. He allocated enough time to my case, informed me about my choices and helped me making the right decision. I am going to be his patient for years. His assistant Sylvia is also very helpful and nice.

I've been seeing Dr. Kubitz for an ongoing back issue for over a decade. He's always treated my issue properly and has always had a great bed-side manner. So why am I giving him two stars? Last year he prescribed me some oral steroids to help the inflammation that was causing me some pain. We spoke at length about the most cost effective approach to manage my pain since I'm a 'cash pay' patient. I recently had a flare-up and called his office to see if he could prescribe an additional two week prescription for the same issue I had a year prior. However, he refused to prescribe the medication because he hadn't seen me in a year. If I had called a week and a half earlier he would have prescribed me the medication. But since I was 10 days past his 'ethical' approach to prescribing medicine I was going to have to pay nearly $200 for an office visit. An office visit where he would confirm that I'm suffering from the same back issue for the past 10 years. This is the quintessential reason for the rising cost of healthcare. Drs like Dr Kubitz are more interested in the 'cash grab' than providing quality healthcare to their patients. Or maybe he didn't take good notes from our last visit together, as we both mapped out a cost effective game plan moving forward? It's ashame...

I became a patient at this office during their transition to collaborating with Honor Health. They told me they were short staffed, like everyone else is, but otherwise, everything has gone smoothly. I was able to get my appointment quick enough, my injection was scheduled as planned, and everything went great at the surgery center where I received my injection. Dr. Kubitz is thoughtful, caring, and listens to me, like many other reviewers have noted. From what I have seen, when reviews become more of a forum for personal attacks, rather than constructive criticism as is intended, it speaks more to character of the individuals writing the review. I would caution anyone reading these reviews to keep that in mind, especially when it comes to the medical field. I typically refrain from posting reviews, but this office deserves credit for what they are doing during these challenging times. I came to Pain Consultants of Arizona for its outstanding reputation, and I have not been disappointed. Furthermore, yes, I am a real patient at this office, not a paid reviewer like many businesses use. I will happily recommend them to all my family and friends.

Dr. Grove is a probably a 5 star doc but I regrettably had to switch clinics because I simply. could. not. get a hold of anyone. Phone calls not returned, email via the website not acknowledged...even asked my PCP's staff, (HonorHealth), to try to get me connected. Nothing. Tried going in person one Friday afternoon and the office was dark. Perhaps they are in the middle of marked staffing issues. Upshot: compassionate, competent docs...if you can get a hold of them.

I feel it necessary to give the staff at Pain Consultants of Arizona kudos for how the office is running during these difficult times. They have not missed a beat and it is quite reassuring for me. Doctors Bui and Cody have shown me that I can in fact get relief for my pain and that my quality of life can be just fine. thank you all. Arthur and Gale Farinas

Dr. Grove is the best pain management doctor in the business. Unfortunately, the nursing staff transferred me to Dr. Tony Bui without my consent- and Bui is a nightmare. The medical assistants for both doctors acted as 'gatekeepers', they refused to transfer me back to my doctor, Dr. Grove- they refused to even let me contact him. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to be transferred back to Dr. Grove, I finally left the practice. I was heartbroken because I loved Dr. Grove. Steer clear of Dr. Tony Bui for pain management care. He is the worst pain management doctor I've experienced in 10 years as a chronic pain patient.

Worst experience ever with their scheduling. I drove all the way from Gilbert to my appointment, I was on time, but Dr. Grove decided to cancel on me because he had other meetings. They called me they said, but I get calls all day and I can’t possibly answer them all. No text but they reminded me with a text a few days ago and I confirmed. Very unprofessional to waste someone’s time like this, I will not be back.

Let’s just say I completely understand why Dr Mark Rubin left this clinic! As much as i liked Dr Rubin and had confidence in him along with the staff that worked with pain procedures, the office management and support staff clearly needed much more training. But when this staff has such a high turnover along with a terrible manager, how can you train them?! Even though this happened years ago, they made our lives miserable for years. So I believe it’s necessary to warn others after reading so many of the same complaints. When I had another procedure done, we were ready to pay the cost that day. We’d paid the pre- test costs already. When the front desk told us that we were paid up, we asked her to check further or ask the manager to be sure because we don’t like bills and want to pay at time of service. Further checking, the manager assured us we had a zero balance. THREE YEARS LATER, we received a bill along with accumulated late fees, from collections. Since it’d been so long and I need to see numerous specialists for all my severe pain causing conditions, I couldn’t remember this bill or who it came from. Plus, we try to pay up front whenever as possible. The bill didn’t explain anything since it was sold to a collections company. Fighting to find out where the original charge was coming from and if there was merit, we discovered it was from Pain Consultants of AZ. We diligently fought to correct this error, willing to pay the original amount for the procedure. After two years of calling their billing and the manager, even went in person twice only to be told by his staff that he was unavailable as I looked right at him! I told the front desk of the error and at the day of my procedure, I did indeed owe a total of around $211. I wrote a check with a note of explanation why I would not be paying the additional fees since it was their error and never contacted us once before selling the delinquent error to collections. It took another two years for them to stop sending threatening calls and letters. I am baffled how they can stay open!

I've been seeing pain doctors since 2004 Dr Grove and his staff are by far the best they listen to you what's going on with you they're willing to try anything to help you not just meds but they try other things they give you tens units they do scans shots and they treat you like a person not like a number this is the best place in town to seek help for pain management I would recommend him to anyone and their staff

I have been seeing Dr. Kubitz for quite a while now and even though it is a bit of drive from Peoria, I can honestly say I will no go anywhere else.

Dr. Grove and his associates have helped manage my lower back pain through the years. Dr. Grove is amazing he truly cares about his patients. Plus his epidurals are done top notch. The staff at the procedure center are all very sweet and make you feel relaxed. Especially for patients with anxiety. The entire staff is very kind, polite, and fast. Thank you all for your hard work and taking great care of me all these years. Never had any problems with billing either.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kubitz's for almost 5 years now. He has been extremely helpful in managing my pain problem. I have found him to be caring, honest, and does an excellent job with my procedures. After going to other pain clinics, there is no comparison to the integrity and quality of care provided at this office. Highly recommend.

Everything and everyone were great. The doctor showed interest and came up with a plan that gave me hope for a solution. Dani and the rest of the staff were above and beyond the best team. Prompt responses from them when I had questions through MyChart. The treatment the doctor recommended is working.

I’ve been a patient for several years and couldn’t ask for a more compassionate, professional group. I’m a nurse of 46 years and they keep me upright and minimize my pain so that I can function. I don’t know where I would be without them!

I wouldn’t see anyone but else but Dr. Grove. I had been suffering from extreme sciatica for two months. I went to another pain place and had cortisone injection with zero relief. My first visit with Dr. Grove was great. We answered all my questions and took his time making you feel that your were his priority. I was lucky enough to to get schedule the following day for another round of cortisone injections. This was a way better experience than last time. They have a great offsite facility where they administer the shots. More like an ER surgery center. The staff there was amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Grove!

Alexandra NP is fantastic. She is very thorough and caring and knowledgeable. I would recommend her highly, probably one of the best experiences I've had with a medical provider
