Our family has been a member of mountainside since the pv location opened. While we used to love coming to this gym and it itself has great management I can’t seem to say the same about the kids club. Over the last couple of months this place has gone down hill since the old manager left. My kids used to love coming here which is just a shame. Every time I have come in with my kids the new manager just sits behind the desk and not once have I seen her interacting with the kids. Guess we will just stick to coming on the weekends to see the only staff who seems to care which is the only reason I am not leaving a one star review.

Had such a great experience joining Mountainside and I am really excited I found this gym. Started from a great experience with the front desk, they all had very positive energy and were excited to welcome me in. The workout floor had everything I needed to get a solid workout in. One of the trainers even approached me to ask if I needed assistance with anything. The facility was super clean especially considering the amount of people working out there. I had a great experience with Tate one of the managers, he was very informative and professional and made me feel even more excited to join. Looking forward to making this my home gym. Love this place already!

The staff is very friendly and always ready to help with any questions or concerns I have. The towel service is an amazing amenity and the staff does an amazing job keeping towels stocked. The facility is clean and open!! Would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a new gym!

Paradise Valley Mountainside Fitness is fantastic! It's clean, well-run by General Manager Caitlyn and Assistant Manager Tate, and the staff is always friendly! It's been a top notch facility since it opened in March 2020. State-of-the-art equipment, great fitness trainers, and a huge variety of classes make it an excellent value. Everyone feels welcome and I highly recommend anyone to join!

The 5 star review is for the childcare and the amazing staff, not for the gym itself, that’s a completely different story. The ladies working there are attentive, super friendly and our son lights up when he hears them calling out his name. We feel great leaving him there, the rooms are always clean and many great toys available for the kids. It’s nice to have everyone remember you and make the kids feel so welcome in the space. Wonderful job!

I have been a member for almost 2 years now and I wouldn’t go to any other gym. As a mom the most important thing is my kids are happy while I’m working out and they love the kids club. Great choice for moms!

We’ve been at this gym for over a year now and it’s great! I needed a local gym with childcare, and actually drive further to come to this location. Jessica and all the other employees in childcare are awesome. They remember your kids, their likes and dislikes and engage with them. There are lots of activities for the kids to choose from and I appreciate the camera view to check in while I workout. This is actually the first place I left my kids alone and they made me feel comfortable. Desiree is a magician with my youngest and he gets all the attention he demands there. It’s so nice to be able to workout or get some work done knowing that they’re safe. Everyone in childcare is amazing! The gym is clean and spacious, I like the layout here more than other locations as well.

Love this facility and especially love the daycare! The women working in the daycare are beyond amazing with the children. Jessica is so wonderful at what she does in there!, as well as Brie and all the others! I have a 15 month old and hadn’t brought him to any sort of daycare before this but they have made me feel comfortable with their attentiveness and kindness. They go above and beyond at what they do in there taking great care of the kiddos. I also love that you can watch the daycare cam in different places around the gym to check on your little ones throughout your workout. Very lucky for them for making my gym time so sweet and easy and giving my child a great happy experience while we’re there. In addition I’m loving the yoga classes on M, W, F at 830 am . Amanda on Wednesday is especially amazing , love her energy and her yoga teachings!

My wife and I were so excited for this location to open as it’s close to home and we’ve been mountainside members for years. Mountainside PV really has it all. But what sets this location apart from others is the team in the child care. From day 1 they remembered our son Rickey’s name and gave him a warm excited “hi Rickey!!” Upon entry. As our family has grown they give our baby Caroline equally warm greetings and both kids really look forward to going there. Rickey loves the bounce house, video games, basketball and bubbles. But mostly he loves Jessica! Couldn’t more highly recommend this gym and especially utilizing their child care. Thank you Jessica and the crew we love and appreciate you guys!

I've been using my Planet Fitness membership, because every time I'm in MS some guys will mark their territory with a water bottle and will approach another member and ask them to get off the equipment. That's a hard no from me. First, they aren't using the equipment, and only women are approached and told to get off the equipment. Second, I pay for my membership like everyone else. Third, the staff refuses to do anything about the issue. I have told 3 different staff members. I'll be in to cancel the membership.

This gym is the absolute best! I trust them more than I’ve ever trusted any gym with my money. My stepmom unexpectedly passed tragically back in Feb. She was only 54 and today just so happens to be her birthday. I moved immediately to be with my family across the country.. especially for my 16 year old sister (my stepmoms only daughter), and due to how intense of a time it was I was broke and honestly completely forgot about my gym membership. I explained this to them and they said we will forgive you for the entire time besides just this last month for what you owe!!! They had no further questions. Absolutely incredible. I was expecting at least some sort of payment plan. So now instead of owing 9 months of unpaid payments plus late charges I only owe $40. Plus, the environment of this gym and the equipment and all of the spaces/rooms are the best I’ve ever been to. I will forever recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!! Thank you guys so much you have no idea how much this helps me. 🤍

I thought it necessary to update my review since I have witnessed a remarkable improvement in what is already a very good gym. I have been a member here since this location opened several years ago and I have noticed a significant turnover in the staff. However, the appointment of Justin as general manager is by far the best development for Mountainside and its members. Justin is a skilled manager and it is obvious that he has the respect of all the employees at Mountainside. In addition, Justin takes the time to talk to individual members and obtain their feedback on their experiences and expectations at the gym. In turn, the members here feel that their patronage of Mountainside is appreciated and valued. This facility is about a year old and well maintained. The staff are very attentive in keeping the place clean, which is especially important during the COVID pandemic and I have no qualms about the safety of facility. The staff are also friendly and professional.

This facility is great! I have been throughout multiple locations and this one is by far one of the cleanest, friendliest staff and the people who workout are always in a good mood. I have seen a lot of issues with other locations and the cleanliness of their facilities. The towels are always gone and the staff are always on their phones or just rude. The kids care at this location is fantastic and my kiddos love their care staff! The managers are friendly and always offering a helping hand. I dropped my ear buds down one of the stair masters and Justin helped me get them. He ended up having to take apart the whole stair master to get them. Super embarrassing and he was so greasy from going basically in the machine. He smiled the whole time and assured me it was no big deal and he was happy to help. That was great for him to be so nice about it because it was a lot to find one tiny ear bud.

The facility is great but Jessica V in the daycare is incredible! I'm a first time mom and leaving my baby with a gym daycare scared the hell out of me. From day one she made sure I was comfortable. Jessica keeps me informed on how my baby does every time we bring him. I appreciate each and every one of the wonderful ladies in the day care! They're all great! Jessica has just blown me away with how caring she is! Thank you!

This place is my mental break without the guilt! The staff here are on top of everything from machine cleaning, maintenance to friendly welcomes!! A special thank you to child care as my daughter, Leila, runs to play with her friends and always looks forward to seeing Raelyn (Rae Rae) her very special friend! Jessica, Raelyn's mom, is a natural at her job, she makes taking care of children SO easy! And I can't say enough about the rest of the staff in child care!! My daughter loves the jumpy house and all the fun activities they do. I never walk out feeling guilty and love how the staff always reminds me to "enjoy my workout!" . Love this place!

I’ve been going here for a year and a half and it’s a great place to work out. Very few influencer types setting up tripods and posing in the mirrors. Not a ton of egos or meatheads, just a lot of seemingly decent people working out and having fun and minding their own business. It has everything I need as a weightlifter — plenty of dumbbells, lots of good machines and squat racks. Trainers seem great but I’ve never hired one. Equipment is always clean and towels are always available. Locker rooms are very nice.

We go to the Paradise Valley location most often and the childcare there is amazing! My kid does not warm up easily but Jessica and the rest of the wonderful ladies there have made it much easier for him. Highly recommend for parents trying to get a workout in. 🙌

We’ve been coming here for over a year and the childcare is amazing especially for a gym. Jessica and Maggie are attentive, personable and take good of our daughter. They are always quick to support her if she’s having trouble with me leaving. It is very clean and the employees are always playing with the kids. We’ve tried going to other locations but the childcare just isn’t the same so we only come here. i feel comfortable leaving my daughter in their care, they always tell me things she did and said and help me find whatever toy she brought that day and she loves them too. We love the classes offered as well. Stacey is an amazing instructor, she’s incredibly motivating and challenges you. Emily and Kaycee are awesome too! We love it here, definitely worth it.

The gym is kept clean, well equipped, and all the staff I've interacted with are friendly. However, what really sets this Mountainside apart from other gyms is the child care. Jessica and the rest of the child care staff are so attentive and caring. I'm able to get a good workout in every time I go, because I can trust that my daughter is safe and in good hands every time I drop her off in the child care center.

This mountainside fitness is the best! We love this location. The kids care is excellent, and all of the staff is top notch. Super clean and well taken care of facilities as well. Love it so much!

Great gym, classes are amazing (especially love high fitness), and child care is excellent. All the ladies I leave my kids with are lovely human beings, very kind and warm and superior with kids. 10/10.

Mountainside fitness at Paradise Valley is an amazing, friendly gym to go to. I have been going to this gym since they opened in 2020 during the pandemic. Starting my morning check ins at the front I am always greeted by amazing Jazmine, she puts a smile on my face every time I see her as she is always smiling and greeting me. Overall staff is amazing, and they are always willing to help you with anything you need. Manager Justin has always been amazing and makes sure everything is in place. I love going here not only because they are all friendly, but they make the whole environment clean. From the machines to bathrooms. The steam rooms are what I love going to after my workouts and it is always clean. I recommend coming here as everything and everyone in it will motivate you to come to the gym everyday. I LOVE going to this place and I recommend everyone to try it out!!

The absolute best gym around. All the employees are so nice and helpful. I love the variety of the equipment and how clean and big the locker room is. The only problem is the smoothies are so yummy I have to buy one every day

Love this location. The GM in particular at this location is super friendly and welcoming to all the guests. Equipment is kept in good order and the “vibe” of the gym is friendly.

I love this place. The staff members I have encountered are so friendly, professional, and very helpful. There is great diversity which I love. It helps us who might be a little insecure feel like we are right at home. They have an EXCEPTIONAL variety of cardio machines, free weights, and cable machines. The gym is spotless! Overall, Great!

This gym is too good to be true in my opinion. The gym is nice, price is great, and it is so nice being able to bring my infant to the childcare center. He is happy there and I feel very comfortable leaving him with the staff.

This Mountainside location is top notch. The place is always clean, employees are personable, and their childcare is the best! Both my boys, 6 and 4, ask to go to the gym. The childcare employees really do care for your children. 10/10 would recommend.

I absolutely love this gym!! Everyone is so friendly and kind! You are greeted with a friendly “Enjoy your workout” Then we pop on over to the Child center. The thing we love most of all is the childcare! I have 3 kids and it’s hard to find places I feel comfortable leaving them. Jessica is great and knows me and my kids as soon as we come in the door! All of the ladies in the childcare are AMAZING! My kids now beg me to go the gym! Their parents night out is also a wonderful program for parents! If you get a chance, try the personal training! Iesha is AMAZING! She has helped me so much! Encouraging me through texts before and after our sessions as well as pushing me to be my best self in the gym! Overall, I couldn’t recommend this gym more!

I’ve been coming almost 5 days a week for the last 6 months. Great location, staff is welcoming and helpful, everything is clean, cardio machines are always available. But the real reason I continue to return is the staff in the childcare center. My kids love to hang out there and I appreciate that they receive attention and are truly cared for by the ladies in the daycare. Truly the best!

Firstly, Love Mountainside Fitness.. especially the Paradise Valley location. The childcare area is always being cleaned and sanitized. Their employees are personable, kind, and caring with my children. I've been multiple gyms throughout my fitness journey and none of them come close to this one. I work out at Mountainside Paradise Valley regularly since June 2022 when it got too hot to hike. Been a gym member in Southern California and Scottsdale for over 40 years and this PV facility is by far the most comprehensive. If you have to wait for a piece of equipment to accomplish your need, you simply aren’t aware of the options. There is so much to use here, I strongly recommend working with one of their personal trainers to get started and learn the many varied equipment and technique options to keep your workouts fresh and effective. I meet weekly with my trainer, Cole, to address areas of concern and best practice for safety and results. The facility is spotless, locker rooms spa quality, staff is friendly and helpful, equipment is new and first class. All good!

Got a trial here to check out the gym. One thing I like the most.. is the people at the front working are so nice! They are always saying hello and most always say goodbye. That’s been lacking and other gyms I’ve tried and one thing that sets them apart. A simple “hello” and a smile goes really far these days. The gym is usually always moderately busy. The equipment is nice and new. The area has a good layout. It’s big but not too big. I also really enjoy the kids area! My daughter seems to have fun when she’s in there. There’s always usually 2-3 teachers at a time. I would highly recommend.. good vibes. And good establishment all around. 🙂

Been exercising there for over a year. The staff is friendly and always courteous. Brody, Tanner, Tate Jonah, Jonathan and the rest of the staff are always smiling and helpful. Love the gym and vibe there. Positive energy and hard working people. Keep up the good work 💪🏼

Jessica and her staff in the kids’ gym in my #1 reason why I love this gym, especially this location!!!! It’s clean, well organized, my kids love playing with their staff, they have age appropriate toys my kids love (“I want the gym with the farm animals!”), the family restroom… It’s the best! Emily’s Pilates classes are top notch! I’m happy. My kids are happy. I shopped 4 gyms before choosing this one! So glad I did! Thx M Kids staff!!!

Love this gym! I had trouble finding a good gym that offered the classes I enjoy and also had a great childcare but this location has it all! From day one the staff in the kids room have been amazing! My son always looks forward to going to the gym and I have the girls there to thank for it. So nice to know that my kids are being well taken care of and having fun while I get to go workout!

Great gym set up... The front desk staff could be a little more welcoming. Every time I come in I'm made to feel like a burden for checking in. Step up the customer service at this location!

For all the mountainside’s I’ve been to this one is probably the best in terms of space and variety of equipment. The gym is newer and is still in pretty nice condition. However, a few gripes with the experience. There is so much space that it often feels underutilized. This gym could benefit from a lot more equipment (beyond the awful Hoist equipment - perhaps some more techno gym equipment). For as big as this place is there is usually only one of each type of machine, but there is plenty of room to add more. I would also add they could benefit from purchasing some more attachment pieces for the cable machines. Ropes, bars, handles, etc. In addition to these floor criticisms, the locker room needs some attention. The towels often go empty before being restocked - during peak times that doesn’t seem acceptable. The steam room if far to hot and usually burns you if you’re even 6 feet within the steam spout. Kind of makes the limited seating in the steam room useless if you can only sit on the far side without getting a burn from the steam. Finally, the men’s shower situation is rough and has been for weeks. Most of the shower heads don’t work or spray in 3 directions from the back of the head. It’s a simple fix to improve the experience but it seems like there is a lack of attention to detail when it comes to improving the facilities. Overall, the gym is good aside from these frustrations.

I am so impressed with this place, I have had nothing but a positive experience at this gym. It has everything you would want plus more. The staff always seems to really enjoy being there and the fact they remembered my name after only being a member for a short time is very impressive. The equipment is top notch and the gym is very clean. Excited to be a member
