A private club where members can relax and unwind. From the outside it looks questionable but once inside there are a number of play rooms and a decent gym. Let's not forget the salt water pool and jacuzzi. I love their extra large steam room. The crowd is always mixed with a good variety of some pretty hot Guys. And believe me they are not shy. Mix and minglle make new friends. It's the perfect place to hide out or just get away without leaving city limits. Oh and how could I forget on Sundays they have a poolside BBQ event serving free cheese burgers and hotdogs with all the trimmings.😉

The place is a dump. In dire need of repair, if the hot tub is working, the steam room is closed. If the steam room is open, the hot tub is closed. The staff never lets you know that the ammenities are not available. Sometimes, the maze is closed. Sometime the pool is closed. Its hit or miss. There was a problem with the east wing and its been closed off for weeks now. Theoretically, its a great place. Reality, it needs to be torn down.

I was not allowed in because I did not have a drivers license. I fully understand the need for clear identification customers. I had a government issued ID with my photo, Several credit cards with my name on them, I had a picture of the front and back of a valid drivers license, I could go onto the state motor vehicles website and prove my license was valid and had a picture of my valid license with me, I had other store card s with a photo ID of me and my name on it. All of this information and a little common sense (which was totally lacking from the supervisor) I could prove who I was, where I lived, and my age. With much less information I would be able to obtain a drivers license! . In other and much larger organizations, I was able to rent a car (Avis) , rent a hotel room (Hilton), go through airport TSA security. I am not disparaging the establishment except for this mindless rule and supervisor. And seriously???? A private member ship bathhouse??? Can’t they use common sense to accept alternative ID? Far larger organizations can. Give me a break. Very dissatisfied so I went and spent my money elsewhere.

Not to my surprise flex has became one of my favorite bathhouses I've ever visited the staff are beyond amazing with not only there customer service but also by giving you an enjoyable atmosphere and experience Greg,Xavier,Larry,Jonathan and TJ are truly nostalgic in the way they represent the gay community and welcome all big,small and unique to there spa they want you to enjoy your time there and to return again for more outstanding experiences they truly embody a safe place where gay bi curious and straight🙃men can come and feel excepted,respected and embrased in a nonjudgemental fun club setting recently there was a ban on most bag types in the club they offer a plastic grocery bag as an option for you to bring your items in while keeping your actual bag at the front safe and sound I completely understand the reason behind this action and respect it all they are doing is trying to keep people happy,safe and healthy during there time there if they didn't care about you as the customer and an individual I feel this would be very much the opposite so I say thank you staff of flex spa Phoenix for showing concern for your fellow community members and family I could go on and on about everything thing I enjoy at flex but I feel I'd bore the guys reading this review anyways only thing I'd change or really want from flex is for them to just have a whole night of nothing but Lady Gaga chromatica, artpop and remixes playing like please just one night for Pete sake the lady has a song called swine🐽 anyways good vibes and maybe the universe guide you to greatness Komodo ouuuutttt🐶

last night i finally went to flex for my first time, i had been thinking about it for a while and my social anxiety kept me from going, but it was definitely a great experience! the staff is amazing and very helpful & welcoming. the facility is kept in good condition and the environment is just an all around vibe! highly recommend “getting outside of your comfort zone” and going to flex to get comfortable. 😉 i will be back for sure

Have been twice now ! First time was amazing really what I wanted. Second time wasn’t very busy picked the wrong time of day. Seemed like a lot of regulars were there , so not very exciting. During the day seem to have more Biz type guys , and night is a entire different story.

always a blast to visit, live in the skin you're in, get comfortable and relax, no need to overthink anything, and have way more fun than you intended without even trying. the pool and weight room are awesome ways to relieve some stress and get your blood pumping.

Such great hosts with some personality. Thank god. Also amazing steam room, love relaxing in there and feels and looks super sexy. Rooms with showered could use a upgrade as the showers always spill regardless of curtain/screen protectors. A multipurpose room would be dope by getting some people involved with some on screen entertainment who are not there renting out rooms would be a fun kickback area. Lastly, some ability to light a room on for service and so forth (maybe multipurpose colored signal lights) for rooms. Overall I’d give them a 5 star but due to the minor changes without quality upgrades is why they are receiving a 4 star from me.

Paid for a 6 month membership, and had till 7:30 am July 21, had a young, short, man (Xavier) say nobody was supposed to be in room #10. Been to this location many time most give a courtesy reminder when time is up, but this employee will purposely wait for 1 hour to pass exactly then charge you $20 extra. When I was in a deep sleep, -This employee barged into my room like the Police without knocking and accused me of not paying for the room Very rude young, short, man, after later verification and that I had indeed paid for the room. The young man backed off. But never apologized. Very strange how am employee blamed a paying customer for their mistake?But very very rude young man...1 star Boxerbriefs no go, not considered underwear. The young man said the other employee screwed up, then almost refused to give me a towel Enjoy!

I like the place in general. This two star is for the black Latino guy who works there. I don't know what he thinks of himself. I was checking out from my room and without even asking he was giving me lectures about rules and regulations of wearing clothes. I don't know whether he is the manager or what but this is not how you should treat people. Also never pay for a small room because they are trashy. The locker and other facilities are nice.

The staff is friendly, they also maintain the cleanliness of their place. I will definitely come back here.

Recent moved here from a state that didn’t have a place like this. The Staff members are great,funny,cute, very helpful,and a little flirty. I recommend getting a large from. The small ones are just a little tosmall for my liking. Being new it’s hard meeting people, but not here. It has been a great experience for me guys of all ages and I’m very diverse. There is a little of everything. I found myself going after work to just sit in the hot tub. But I have had some fun times. Leave the drama at home come let lose you only have 1 life enjoy it thank you flex for being here, and guys remember if u put good out good comes back And when in doubt, whip it out Ps be kind to each other golden rule treat others how u want to be treated Richard B

Yikes! I was at FLEX last night and noticed a man that remained in the same position (same spot/corner spot overlooking 3 areas-particularly the big room-, not interested in others or talking) during the entire full length of my stay who appeared to be a dealer of sorts or what appeared to be a deal. I overheard him say: "Good to see you to another gentlemen, pulling him into an embrace/hug and they both reached low with their hands to pass off some cash. I know there's a hard no on bags now, but how did anybody not notice on the cams this kind of behavior the entire night? FLEX is fun but this is ridiculous. Your no bag policy most def isn't stopping these types of individuals from still doing their business and apparently on the ground floor as well now. Edit: The room rented directly across from the small room near the big room is where the guy was in and right outside the door at the corner when coming out. I mean, what's the point of the no bag at this point? For years this hasn't been an issue but all of a sudden, it has. Doesn't make sense.

I have probably been here five times in the last 10 years. 🤫 And every time I go I ask myself why 🤔 I do like the outdoor jacuzzi which is actually hot 🥵 and the outdoor patio and heated pool is very nice. It's ideal for nude sunbathing on a Sunday afternoon. There is a sofa and fire pit 🔥area for those cold🥶 nights and of course that's a must since it's the smoking section🚬 There's also a grill ♨️ area but I've never seen it used or even seen advertisements for a cookout weekend.🌭 That would be nice for a Saturday afternoon. There is a very small maze area which needs to be improved. And then another small room which also needs to be improved. And then a larger video room which could use some improvement. Perhaps the video could be on? There's another TV screen on the outside of that room that isn't on either. They have a sling room which is very nice. And when I was there it was quite popular 😈 It looks like it could be a group rental feature. One unique thing is the premium rooms have their own bathroom🚽 The whole place could use a makeover. It always has. Perhaps I go every once in awhile to see if anything has been improved 🤷🏻‍♂️ The 🚿 shower area was improved and it is very nice. The water is 🥵 hot and there are several rainheads. There is a fairly large steam room but it really could be arranged in a better configuration. They do not have a sauna at all. Not sure why except who needs a sauna in the desert?🏜️ But wouldn't that be nice on cold winter nights 🤔

I love this place. The dark room or play room, what ever it's called is too bright but otherwise I love it. There used to be a play room on the other side down the hall way. I miss that. I went to Flex this past weekend. Had a great time. But they really do need to do something about the lighting. The maze/dark room was way too bright. The big play room was so bright it was like my living room. I really like this place but they need to do something about the bright lights.

The staff was the standout. They were friendly and helpful and perceptive. Not as epic as the Flex in Cleveland but I like all the mirrored doors and clean with the right touch of sleaze. Certain parts were a bit too cold though

This place is great. Love coming and relaxing in the pool area. It’s nice to swim naked and you don’t have to worry about neighbors. Love the music and the staff especially black stallion he was so personable and nice. I was happy to see them clean the maze and the other rooms. I like seeing a variety of guys come and go.

Just like the below post from which Anthony stated, they do not allow any form of bag of any type since they believe this is the only means of some of their clients from bringing in illicit substances particularly "T" and "H". They won't check pockets, but they'll deny bags when all it takes is for someone to hide stuff on their body, pockets or shoes. They did in fact used to allow bags and the problem is still going on even without a bag. They somehow get alcohol in too. It appears they changed their pricing all of a sudden and discontinued some of the benefits including the gym, more expensive than any of the other FLEX locations. A shame they didn't have the decency to communicate (Poor Communication) this change on their social mediums let alone their own website that these changes would go in affect in ex: date. Some of these other FLEX locations still have their same pricing and benefits intact. :V Let's just say, I prefer old management Pre-Cvd days.

Fun to go to, but the shower needs to be cleaned more frequently, and I went in the pool for maybe 15 minutes on Tuesday and now I have a sinus infection, the pool is green. Love the Tuesday and Wednesday special for day time.

Ahhhh this is what FLEX can be like. Accessible guys, friendly staff, sundry corners in which to hold prayer meetings and such. Glory to God!

I've been here a couple of times. You never know who you're going to meet; I've had some amazing conversations, and always have a great time. There's plenty to do, whether it be sunbathing, chilling on the couch where people are always friendly, or the jacuzzi/sauna.

Great place. Clean facility. Helpful staff. Come here with a good attitude more than likely you'll have a good time. Come here with a standoffish attitude and more than likely you'll be stood up. You are what you put out, literally here; you are what you put out, so put out LOL. Bogus though make sure you keep track of your own time one time they did not announce my room as being up to renew or checkout and I was charged an extra 20 bucks my following visit! I know it's our responsibility, but when it's dark and you're preoccupied who's going to be checking a phone or a watch? We all kind of rely on that P.A. system. Not to mention they did it for every other room except mine don't know why I was left out. Gee thanks guys

Friday nights crack like butt cheeks, best night to go i would say. Lots of people, lots of choices. I usually get the large room when I go and it works out for the best. My favorite is the hot tub, very relaxing, followed up by a shower.

Just signed up for a membership and am extremely please with the property and amenities Flex offers. I felt comfortable to be myself, get nude, and have a great time! Definitely recommend you stop by if you are on the fence about it!

Hal is a great massage therapist, my whole body feels incredible. Got the 60 minute Groupon and felt completely rejuvenated. The spa looks a bit like an office but they've got aromatherapy and great decorations to add charm and relaxation.

They are slowly renovating this place, but it is old and a bit run down. Nice pool and hot tub. I arrived at 8 pm on a Tuesday night and there were about 8 people inside. The front desk was rude and had refused to tell me how busy it was. I should have figured out why...

My first time there, I was a little nervous but it was a great experience I enjoyed the pool and the sauna meant a lot of interesting people I will be returning soon.

I love the atmosphere and everything the staff is welcoming there are guys there who are very welcoming as well but I guess the only problem I have is if you're not skinny you don't get bottomed at all

I have been enjoying for years. Only negatives - I wish the old Maze room was still there, Steam room is too hot, music is too loud and wish it had more of a selection as far as type of music, and wish I could kiss and hug in jacuzzi.

Saturday was officially my first time their and I had no idea what I was doing but the supervisor who was on shift that day came to the window and explained everything to me and it was such a warm welcome I felt loved

I went for the first time not knowing what to expect. I'm really happy I went ! The staff is super nice, place is clean I feel comfortable being completely naked everywhere in Flex.

Really a great male spa. Respectful fun clientele, clean and a great place to enjoy a desert sunrise! Staff is also cool with delivery food in addition to the club having a microwave.

Couldn't complain. Had the best time of my life here. Staff was friendly and place was clean. Just what I needed to relax.

While on my way to Copper Cactus Ranch, I stoped for about 12 hours at FLEX Spas Phoenix. I love that there is a dark room and a nice swimming pool. In fact, I cut my stay short at the CC Ranch in order to spend about 24 hours at FLEX before flying to Hawaii.

I always have a good time when I go here! The staff lately are extremely helpful and always have a smile on their faces. The amenities are cleaner than ever.

Are you able to wear half open face dl masks at this area?

I have been to this place I love it.. Just that before the dark room was dark, now it is no longer dark... Does anyone know how much a membership costs...?? I feel sorry to ask at the window 🤭
