HORRIBLE experience. Bouncers were so rude & kicking people out for no reason. I know about 10 others last night dealing with the same issue. I think their staff needs proper training. I would never go back. I will make sure everyone we know doesn’t step foot in there either. As a business owner myself, I would be mortified if I had them as employees.

Cool spot for a drink and hangs. The indoor is well done and the outdoor has great vibes! Tried some of their cocktails and had some pedal haus beer (few of theirs on tap) Didn’t stick around for food, but looked pretty dope to definitely try again! Not a huge fan of the outdoor area open for smoking, makes me limited inside a bit. But nothing that wrecked the evening just worth knowing.

My friend and I visited here shortly after the World Series. We are from out of town and were looking to grab a drink following the game. We approached the bouncer to provide IDs. The bouncer denied us on the premise that "he could not serve us alcohol" that evening. I responded by mentioning that we had not had any alcoholic beverages since the 4th inning of the baseball game. He rudely responded back "Well I don't know baseball, and you can both leave". We both were completely sober, and were taken back by the response from the bouncer. I understand that bars have every right to deny service to anyone. However, as a bouncer myself in Salt Lake City for sometime, I am shocked by being denied after having showed no signs of intoxication. As a fellow bouncer in the industry, his lack of knowledge and outright disrespect has no right in any establishment. I have attached a picture of the bouncer, so future patrons can avoid the gentleman moving forward. A really unfortunate experience for first time visitors to Phoenix. We will not be returning, however we sincerely hope that you help better train your bouncers to recognize legitimate inebriation in the future.

My girlfriend went outside because she thought I was there to get her. When in reality I had an emergency and wasn’t, the bouncer wouldn’t let her back in. She told him her phone was dead and she had no way of contacting her friends. The bouncer claimed she “walked funny” on her way out, she had 3 drinks in 4 hours she was perfectly fine. She ended up being stranded outside, something bad could’ve happened to her. A little more situational awareness would be great. It’s a miracle she even made it home at all. PSA to any women coming here, the staff don’t care about your safety.

I’m in town for a conference and wandered a few blocks from the Sheraton and ended up over here. The drink prices are great, the layout + vibe (yes my millennial is showing) is amazing, but most importantly the staff is welcoming and nice. I happened to meet the manager Dave and he made me feel like we were day 1 friends. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Lucky's is a good spot for group gatherings or to catch up with a friend. The staff were all pleasant. There are indoor and outdoor bars. There's also a food truck onsite. Street parking available. Masks optional.

So unkind. I Ubered here with friends. None of us had been and we were looking forward to going to Luckys. We were all still very sober but my friend stumbled on the rocks just a tiny bit while handing her ID to the bouncer. The short security gaurd with black hair who called himself Jack said she was too intoxicated to go in. What? He was very unkind in delivering his false verdict. so many of these reviews mention the security guy who is on a power trip telling people they are “too intoxicated” for bizarre reasons. I hope this bar will take some of this feedback and make some changes. This kind of profiling is dangerous especially if a person were to have any kind of physical disability.

I always enjoyed my time at Luckys however this will be the last time. My three friends went to the bathroom as girls typically go in “groups”/“packs” we went into the stall together to simply go to the restroom and the second we exit out of the stall security is there to make an accusation saying we are doing cocaine in the bathroom?!?! We simply laughed and asked them to check our bags or pockets given the outrageous statement. I even offered to have the police come which they were one block down and search us. We had no problem leaving and the way they handle escorting 3 girls like were lineman sticking their arms out blocking everyone making a scene and humiliating us was just the cherry on top of the accusations. I am disgusted with this establishment and would just like to give a warning to every girl group that goes out that even though they only have two stalls only go one at a time or else you will have an experience that humiliates you and ruins your night. I suggest you go to Palma or ghost donkey as we went there afterwards and had a delightful time.

Love me a lil bit of Lucky’s! It’s great spot to start the night♥️ Strong drinks + fun vibes! I love running into the owner plus my friend Leo here. There is great seating near the bar and a lot of cool people. The vibes of this place is super chill and cool. Security is on top of their shiihh by making sure everyone is acting correctly. They have a very spacious bar indoor and outdoor. All in all my neighborhood go-to bar♥️

You get the best of both worlds inside and out. They have daily specials and if that wasn't enough feature Miller High Life for $5 a bottle. Lots of games on the inside and plenty of variety of seating everywhere else. They have swinging chairs , couches, booths, stools and picnic tables. You can't take out drinks, including water but they were kind enough to have an additional water station outside the venue.

I was totally stoked to check this spot out, I heard it was rad...so I went on Tuesday night and a tiny bartender that looks like she was 12 kept talking about how much she loves Kari lake and hates aquariums. What kind of person hates Jellyfish? Anyway I'm kinda scared to go back because what if maybe it's a low-key young republicans of american hang-out or the headquarters of the anti-fish federation. The jello shots were good.

Stumbled on this place as we were “waiting” for another place to open. Turns out the atmosphere was so chill that we stayed and didn’t go to the other place. Really friendly staff when we sat at the bar and great drink options. We played pool for a bit and had a great time for hours.

Luckys is so fun, such a great vibe inside and the backyard area is so cool with a bunch of hanging swings and food trucks. Drinks are great, always have a fun time when I go.

So fun! Great spot for weekend drinks, outdoor vibes, and overall fun environment. The staff was friendly, live music was good, and the indoor/outdoor space was large enough to not feel crowded even on a busy night. Will be back for sure.

It’s definitely a neat venue but it was not the vibe for New Years Eve. They had a ton of reserved tables which was really odd for a bar. A lot of the people for the reserved tables didn’t even show up until like 11:30pm. So there were just empty tables all night and if you even sat on the bench or chair for one security came over to scold you immediately. It was pretty ridiculous and ruined the atmosphere. They had a big line out front all night and they weren’t letting people in even though it wasn’t remotely full inside or outside. My boyfriend and I actually got kicked out about 15 minutes to midnight because one of the security guards thought I was sleeping. I was literally sitting at a table having a drink. The security just seemed to be on a power trip the whole night and it really ruined the atmosphere and ruined my NYE experience. I really wish we hadn’t gone to Luckys and I certainly won’t be back. EDIT: I just read through a lot of the reviews and it seems like a lot of people have had the same terrible experience with the security guards here. You all should really re-evaluate what’s going on here and how you treat people. You ruin peoples nights.

Lucy’s Indoor Outdoor is one of those spots you just have to check out. I haven’t had a chance to try their food yet, but I’ve heard great things. The real star for me is their pool table – easily one of the best in town, especially if you’re into competitive play. The vibe here is on point too, super welcoming and chill. It’s the kind of place where anyone and everyone can kick back and have a good time. Can’t wait to dive into their menu next time!

I visited Luckys Indoor Outdoor last weekend along with my local friend. He said there is a cool Bar nearby and hence we reached here. The vibe here at night was amazing. We reached here around 11 Pm and it was completely packed with people. We grabbed a couple of cocktails and ended up playing Skee Ball. Obviously I won and hence my friend paid for all the drinks, lol. The ambiance here was amazing, I made a couple of new friends here. The outdoor section has a Hot Food truck. The food was decent in taste. It's a famous place to hang around in the area and hence the drinks were amazing. I will visit this place on my next trip to Phoenix, Arizona for sure.

I didn't want to leave! From the narrow entrance and wall art to seeing the bar and the cozy set up. Could be considered a hybrid between a speak easy and the London Pub feel. Very intriguing and interesting between the textures and the lighting. Bartender did great with a mocktail suggestion and the Espresso Martini was smooth and balanced.

The bouncer had little customer service experience; he was unable to desescalate an interaction with a single individual over emptying a water bottle. We did not go in as we think it is unreasonable to require your patrons to empty out their water prior to entering the establishment without an explanation, especially considering arizona is a desert and I just experienced heat exhaustion for the first time in my life the day prior because this AZ is hell on earth. To the owner/manager: I'd recommend a bottle lockers/valet. If other establishments can do it with cars, you can do it with bottles. To patrons: You should come here if you want to feel nostalgia from being treated like a child. Edit (post establishment response): Thanks for the response, Nick. The message you claim was communicated at the door was unfortunately not actually said by the bouncer. Furthermore, we were allowed entry into every other bar with our water bottles that same night (Sunday night). Lastly, I the windshield wiper motion your bouncer did towards my face was extremely rude (I decided to omit this portion to avoid being petty). I truly wish you good luck running your business, I feel you will need it.

I love Lucky's. Great bartenders and good spot to meet some singles on the weekend. Can get pretty packed but their open 7 days a week. Find what day is best for you. I like Sundays and Thursdays if I'm going solo. With friends def wanna go on the weekends.

Fun downtown spot with, like the name suggests, indoor and outdoor open seating. Fun atmosphere, and they had some food available when I went.

Food was great. Got the fish tacos and shrimp tacos. Drinks were pricey 2 drinks $26. I was there on Vacation. Nice atmosphere. They card you at the door. No one in mask outside, a little over crowded for covid times. Went on a Saturday night because someone recommended the food.

The bouncer was super rude towards me denying me entrance to the bar saying a visa ID is not a valid goverment iD, I then showed him my sentri ID and got the same response. He was rude and was looking at me and my friends in a disgusting way. He was nice at the beggining but once He heard us speaking in spanish he indmediatly change his attitude. Avoid this bar they personal are clearly racist and fat shaming.

We had a good time! Cocktails were great! I recommend the “what’s that blue drink” cocktail, very delicious.

This is my favorite bar in Phoenix. I love the vibe and all of the wood. Every bartender I've interacted with has been super friendly and fast. It's low-key and the drinks are reasonably priced. I also love how many different Aperol spritzes they have. The patio is awesome and even on a hot day, it's not bad in the shade. If I've got friends in town, I always make sure to bring them here because I know we'll have a good time.

My fiancé and I were out for the night and ended up here. We were definitely the older couple in a completely different setting to what were used to, but everyone was welcoming. It's a very chill and relaxed environment. The bartenders were awesome and friendly and made some delicious drinks! I could see myself going back.

Excellent service, cocktails are better than you might expect, and they have some great food trucks and events. One of the best patios in Phoenix!

pool table sucks. security is almost non existent. inside area small and crowded. line always too long for what awaits you inside. expensive. In response to Mr. Nitz: Thanks but I won’t be returning. The line was the least of my worries. If I felt safe or it was entertaining enough to wait in such an outrageous line I’d gladly do so. But I am more concerned about the lack of security and safety along with the anticlimactic entertainment value provided. Hire more security who actually can do security work patrons shouldn’t be left to fend for themselves in a threatening situation. Any bar worth its salt would have proper measures in place for such scenarios. Go to Valley y’all it’s right around the corner! Or even Chambers has more to offer. One of the WORST bars I’ve ever had the displeasure of attending.

I liked this bar right when I walked in there was a divey bar vibe. The jello shots are a must to try. Also, come during happy hour for the drink specials. I had a drink with mezcal and it had a slight orange taste very delicious. They gave an outdoor seating area to have drinks and it has these really cool swings. I highly recommend this place.

It’s funny that this place thinks they are as cool as they think. Nothing to see and rude staff. They quite possible really think ppl owe them and it’s a privilege to be in their presence. I wouldnt support this white trash place... They own other rat boxes in the area so just know what you’re getting. Over priced drinks with an attitude and hall monitors. Don’t waste your time here … so many other spots in the area to deal with this.

Great environment with great music. The only downside to my visit was that a friend was given a warm beer, and a mixed drink tasted really off. Other than those few hiccups a great night.

Super fun bar. It's beautiful, the service was terrific, it's in a nice area - a win all around. Will go back.

This place deserves zero stars. I came here last night with my friends and had a few drinks. A male worker aggressively grabbed my friend told him he needed to go. What they do is try to kick people out all the time if they see people having too good of a time. He did nothing wrong! What I witnessed last night was rude and never returning again. Spend your money elsewhere. VERY DISAPPOINTING

I was bored, so I wanted to try the Cobra Arcade but found it closed for New Years Day. I saw this place next door and so I was like let’s try out. It was very very chill and liked the patio area. I definitely need to try out on a summer night. I had one drink but need to go try there beer.

Mazzarepas food truck out back (Colombian style Grilled cheese) and all the good vibes at Luckys! Always a good time and walkable around Roosevelt and downtown.

Went the night before Halloween and it was such a blast! Loved the live band and the music was a great vibe. Spent a lot of time outside in the swinging chairs playing corn hole. Only negative was one of the bartenders kinda seemed annoyed as if she really didn't want to be there, but I get the struggle. It was a lot in a small little like tin can bar. Still will being back.

  • 5/5 Kiel W. 1 year ago on Google
Really liked this place. Nice little dive bar with a cool outdoor area with cornhole and food trucks. Sadly when we went the patio wasn’t really usable because it was too hot but they let us have food delivered to the bar via Grubhub which was really nice of them. Would definitely go back.

  • 4/5 Brady J. 1 year ago on Google
Super cool bar! The patio has Cornhole and all sorts of hanging chairs. There is a pool table on the inside. It was pretty crowded when we went so be prepared to wait on certain nights. We'll definitely be back.
