I do not understand the waiting. I arrived at 7:35, one other person in front of me. Doors opened at 8. There was only one person that said they had an appointment, and she was in at 7:45 and out at 8:30. It’s now 9:15, the lady ahead of me was FINALLY called back 15 minutes ago. I will never come here again and will let my company Risk Management people know to stop sending employees here for workers comp claims. *Update* I have now been waiting over 2 1/2 hours, still haven’t seen a doctor. I have had cancer 3 times, been a pain patient for over 8 years in the past. In all of my HUNDREDS of medical visits under my belt, including ER visits, this is the second longest wait I’ve ever had, and I was second in line! They do not value you, your time and the pain you may be in.

For a simple drug screen it took 3 hours. First off there were only 6 or 7 people in front of my and I believe they need to rethink their strategy in prioritizing people and the needs they come in for. It took less than 3 mins for my test upon being called to walking out the door, I was unhappy with this overall. The customer service was not awful but a smile or some eye contact would've been helpful during the interaction.

I went to this Concentra location off of 1-17 south of Thunderbird for follow up visit after being been previously at the Scottsdale and Shea Concentra (waited at Scottsdale location for 4 hours!) Let me tell you …..looks can be deceiving. The Black Canyon location is not in the nicest of area and outside is a dump (see pics in review… the security sign is a joke I’m sure…I see no security happening here ). The service from phone staff , front desk gals , and Dr.Banasiak was superb. The office staff is professional, courteous and prompt (I was in and out in an hour !) Dr. B is an expert in her field and was very thorough in her assessment of my injury. Being in the medical field myself, I feel as though I’m a good judge of bedside manner and can tell when providers are fake or a piece is missing when it comes to their medical care. It’s a shame that the facility looks horrible as you drive up (transients roaming the streets, trash outside the door, an unkept/ not renovated exterior, no landscaping , lack of fencing to keep the riff raff out.)…it does not match the quality of care the staff gives. Concentra big wigs need to get their heads out of their butts and cough up the bucks to give this Concentra a new look /makeover. It’s a reflection of how much you value your employees and clients.

I had a company appointment for a scheduled annual physical. I did all the necessary paperwork prior to visit then i had to do it on my phone electronically before once I checked in. Then there were several more papers i had to do. Then i waited over an hour past my scheduled time before being seen. Once I was doing my Physical, I had to wait another hour plus just for the Dr. to see me. Then I had to wait longer until the nurse checked me out. My visit should have only been 2 hours tops. I spent over 4 hours there. I have been doing annual physicals for over 20 years and this has been the absolute worst experience during this visit I have experienced. Appointments are made for a reason.

Waited 3 hours for a 2 min drug screening. When I arrived the day before, I was told there were 20 people ahead of me at check-in and the receptionist gave me back my authorization form, which I took to mean I should come back at a later time. I returned the next day at 11 am, and was finally taken back just before 2 pm. The individual who administered my drug test was friendly and quick, so he's the reason for the one star.

I had a pleasant experience at Concentra. The staff was friendly and helpful. Wait time was minimal. It was a hot day and Angel offered me bottled water while I waited for my testing.Greatly appreciate your customer service. Thank you!

Checked in at 9:15am for a fit mask test. With 9 years of RN experience- this test typically takes 5-10 minutes to complete. It is 12:15 pm and they haven’t called me back yet. About an hour after waiting, they sent me a link regarding a physical and TB test, which I had to go up to the desk to correct them and request the RIGHT paperwork.. I never said I was here for those. The lady I first checked in with is either blind or deaf- I even handed her paperwork from my company that said fit mask test at the top. I highly suggest asking your company to schedule your testing elsewhere. They are not only extremelyyyy slow but incompetent.

My experience with my visit was horrible,the front desk people were great,but the actual Doctor not the assistant but the doctor she was not polite at all. Very rude and yes this office isn't located in the best area but it doesn't mean the people coming to there office are scumbags,the doctor should be more professional and a lot kinder. I will tell everyone to try to go to a different location to avoid this doctor. I'm still pretty upset about the way she treated me. And suggest she should change before someone else does something like makes this unprofessional doctor loses her job.

good reception upon arrival. helpful with smart phone checkin. very professional work up etc. short wait for MD to see and examine me for physical work up. comfortably examined and professional. Dr was good and professional. 5 star anytime

Would give negative stars if possible! This place is a joke. Beware people needing a DOT physical, go elsewhere because these fools will give you the run around, make you wait hours on end and then tell you they can't find the paperwork you brought in and think they shredded it on accident. When you push them to figure something out to fix their mess up they threaten you and tell you either get out or they will have you escorted out! The most unprofessional place I've ever been to!

Was 3rd in line waiting outside for doors to open. Was only there drug screen. After about an hour I went up to ask girls why was taking so long. Answered Was, "your getting a DOT physical", when I explained I was only for a rapid drug screen. She went and check, said " you'll be up next". Once in there, took maybe 5 minutes. This was Friday morning, and I'm( my company is) still waiting for results. I can't go back to work without the results.

This office personal staff are unprofessional. They all including doctors need to to be retrained in they hired positions. Many HIPPA failures noticed during my visits. Poor time management if the office staff. I was there for my follow up visit for 2 1/2 hours without being see by the doctor. What's gives. Shut this office down. This office is doing the community a disservice. Just saying.

I was referred here by CVS for a drug screen and tuberculosis test prior to hiring. That place was ran pretty horrible. I called the day before to schedule appointment, was informed it’s first come first serve. I showed up before nine, was may be the fourth person in the waiting room. I sat there for an hour before a single person was called back. By that time the waiting room was full. About an hour and 15 minutes after being there I get a text with a form I have to fill out. But even tell me that was something I was going to have to do, just glad I had my cell phone with me. Once I got called back It was a five minute process. That part went fine, just probably ran and poor communication.

My individual experience with this individual Concentra location has been nothing less than Superior care. The people there are Exceptionally great medical providers. I will say more in the future as time goes by and I continue to treat there. Words cannot express how grateful I am for this Concentra location and your people. Thanks so much !!

The medical assistant who helped me was excellent. Explained what was going on every step of the way. The real problem was the wait times. After finishing my initial paperwork was completed I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. After doing everything the medical assistant was finished I waited another 40 minutes to see the doctor for a maximum of 10 minutes. I was released immediately afterwards. The wait time is the reason why I have this location a six and a 3 star.

My wife and I went in to get pre-screening TB tests. Even though the lobby was busy, the staff were all in good moods, taking patients every few minutes, it was a very well working facility. We went back a few days later to get our results, we were recognized, they were ready for us, and got us in and out within a couple minutes. Fast and friendly service, a clean medical facility, and the people behind the counter were completely professional the entire time they were being swamped with patients. Also we saw the security guard outside making sure people's cars were safe. It was awesome to see. Will definitely return to this location if the need arises.

There was 1 1/2 hour wait, acceptable but they kept insisting we make appointment for later in the day,didi not want later also machine system to pay was out of order. Yes we keft, they did not care for us to stay.

3 hour triage wait time. Hire more staff, Concentra. Seriously. Then they send me, with a broken toe, to another location for an xray. That's ridiculous. Have onsite scanning and reading capability. One doctor was very rude and abrupt. The other doctor was appropriate and professional. However, I would go to another location next time. The facility itself is very rundown and ghetto. Fresh paint and some plants and wall art might help. I will say the counter staff were friendly and polite. I commend them.

I was referred to Concentra for a pre-employment physical and drug test. My experiences with all of the staff and doctor were very positive. Despite being extremely busy, everyone was calm, friendly, and helpful. My only criticism would be the length of time required to complete the process. Upon check-in, I was informed I would be there for three hours. It would've been extremely helpful to know that in advance, as well as any information that would have reduced the time spent on-site.

I didn't have to wait hours to be seen by the doctor. She is friendly and knows her stuff. I began rehab on my shoulder as soon as I was done speaking with her. Justin in rehab is friendly and helpful. They both listened to what I had to say.

The entire staff was welcoming, efficient, timely and I felt safe with excellent security. I had just had a surgery less than 2 days prior and the staff was informative on their process to alert me for the next steps from the lab etc. Thank you all for making a tough day out, a less stressful day.

The staff is very nice and helpful but they are so short-staffed which leads to long wait times. The last time I went there was only one person at the front desk. I just needed a TB skin test and it took 2 hours.

All of the staff were great, very professional. I went for a work physical. My main complaint is that work physicals are not allowed to schedule an appointment and it was a walk in basis only. I waited for two hours to have the physical done.

Super good experience. Didn't have to wait long. Required return to Check injection site was quick and cordial. Convenient location, caring people. Who could ask for more.

nurse was very nice, so were the front desk people. assistants on the other hand need a bad attitude check. why are you working an important job like this with a nasty attitude? assistant didn’t even wrap my wound correctly after i said her attitude wasn’t necessary. screw uu.

As I checked in, I was told it will be a 45 min wait. It actually took 10 mins for me to do my business and leave the exit door. Fast and friendly service. Would highly recommend this place.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient in getting me through the process of getting my CDL physical completed, and the cost was very reasonable also. All around for a walk-in person, it was a pleasant experience.

From the minute I entered the building I was greeted with a friendly and professional manner. The whole process was quick and painless. The phlebotomist was very knowledgeable and explained every step of what she was going to do from the UA collection to the blood draw. I felt very comfortable and was highly impressed with this facility . I highly recommend this location!

I'm surprised that I was done even without appointment within 35mins to get tested. Prior to the last time, I waited nearly 2hours... The staff are friendlier and the person assisted me during the test was very good, cordial and very professional! Good job and kudos 👏 to all!

This urgent care isn’t urgent. Just spent over an hour and a half waiting to no avail. Was there a half hour before opening, second person to check in. After an hour was told that they were “just checking us in now.” A half hour later, still nothing. Was able to schedule an appointment for 10am at another urgent care and left. When we requested our cards and paperwork back we were told that they were checking us in now. An extra half hour and they were still entering our info? I dunno man, not worth it. I’ve been to this facility before and it was fine, assumed the long wait was because of a full lobby when getting there late, but this was unacceptable.

I came in for a TB test for employment. I spoke with Alex. He said I needed to contact employer to get authorization so I wouldn't be charged. I contacted them and got authorization and sat down. People kept coming in and he told them it was a 4 hour wait so I got up and asked him how long it would be. He said he told me it was a 2 hour wait. I told him I didn't remember him saying that. He repeated that he told me that. 2 hours go buy and he asked me if I received the text he sent me which came in as I was going into messages. I completed questionnaire and should wed him on my phone. I signed form. He said they will be with me shortly. I asked if it would be a lot longer. He said 15-20 more minutes. A TB test takes a minute if that and I have so far waited over two hours. This is ridiculous. I've been here since 10:46am. I had to leave to go to second job at 1:55 and never got test done. They were on lunch break.

They take to long to see you and there’s a doctor that acts like he doesn’t even care, he just goes in to the room and asks you how your doing and he leaves the room! He asked me to get an X-ray and possibly an MRI. Next time I saw him he didn’t even make a single comment about that, he didn’t ask about me taking my medicine or even ask if I feel like I needed more. Nurses are nice and the Therapists are awesome, I’ll definitely give 5 stars to them but not to that doctor!!

MY EXPERIENCE @ CONCENTRA........... Day 1. Got to Concentra after voting (Nov. 08,) my husband went with me. We arrived between 1:30p -1:42p. I had no idea what I was going to be in the lobby for 4 1/2hrs. By then I spoke to the security guard and asked him why was it taking so long to see the doctor and he replied "They're short staffed". I feel that's no excuse, hire more people! So I sat back down & waited another 15 min then I was called to come into the exam room. The nurse took my vitals, & urine sample & waited again for the doctor. By this time it was 5:10p. And I never saw the Dr., eventually we left because I have a dog at home, so we left. 1-⭐. Day 2. Got to Concentra this morning around 7:28a (Nov. 09,) and stood outside till 8:00a and once the security guard open the door to let us in. I was told to go directly in and the nurse took me into the exam room. I waited until 10:15a and that's when I saw Dr. Miller. He was very nice. All the employees were nice. But they need to step up on their game when it comes to getting their patients in & out in a timely manner. Otherwise they will always have bad reviews. 2 -⭐⭐. A total of 3 stars.
