I have been seeing Dr. Taylor for years now and she is wonderful. She is professional as well as personable. I do not even live in Phoenix now but I come back to her because she is a great doctor and I prefer not to leave that over a closer doctor. The staff is wonderful and office setting is very inviting and private.

I have had two abortions now both under the care of Dr. Taylor and her awesome staff. During my first visit (WHICH WAS PRE-COVID), I was able to get an appointment immediately and the wait time (in office) was very minimal. Recently, I had to wait about two weeks for my initial appointment and the average in office wait time was 1-2 hours. If you are willing to be understanding and patient, as Desert Star is with their patients, then I highly recommend this clinic!! They are currently understaffed – and that’s not their fault. Also, I noticed many other clinics are also difficult to book appointments with at this time, so you might as well wait for the BEST quality care. Dr. Taylor and staff are THOROUGH, caring, professional and will take as much time needed to answer any questions/concerns you may have. My procedure (surgical) went VERY smoothly, and I felt safe throughout the entire process. Thank you so much DSFP for all that you do.

Do NOT go to this place - I highly discourage you! I had previous appointments/procedures with Dr. DeShawn Taylor that resulted in huge side effects - the medicine that she gave me resulted in many other endocrine symptoms and diagnosis. I never had any such diagnosis and endocrine health wise everything was healthy for me prior to my visit to Dr. Taylor. So in my final visit, Dr. Taylor ordered an ultrasound and that was shared with doctor about a MONTH ago. Since then, I have not heard from the doctor. I have called the staff twice about when the doctor is going to call me for ultrasound review. To which the staff says - ‘she is very busy these days. She will call you when she will call you.’ This is the WORST response you’d like to receive when clearly you can read your ultrasound with multiple diagnosis of issues. Staffs the not professional and more importantly, the doctor is NEVER on time. I request everyone to spare yourselves and NEVER visit this place. Thanks!

This is a very belated review, but I’ve been hearing horror stories lately about women who had horrible experiences when they got their IUDs and I just wanted to show my appreciation for Dr. Taylor, because that was not the experience that she gave me. She did everything in her power to make my IUD placement painless and I was counseled about it beforehand in a such a considerate and compassionate way. I felt I was in good hands. Unfortunately I have moved out of the area, but my visits to this clinic were great back when I could visit. Thank you Dr. Taylor! I can’t recommend this office enough.

I recently had my first visit with Dr. Taylor and it was a pleasant experience. She immediately made me feel very comfortable and it felt as if she had been my doctor for years. I am very happy to have found a primary care physician that I feel I can trust and connect with.

First of all, it was impossible to get a hold of a real human being. You're just send straight to voice mail. Second of all, this place only has appointments on Tuesday and Thursday. So after I finally spent a week wanting to get a hold of someone, I was told they didn't have an appointment tell September. Did I mention that so far this is one of only two clinics I've found that accepts transgender patients? We demand better service and care then this! I shouldn't have to wait tell September to get my hormones! God, what a terrible experience so far. This clinic has a duty as one of the only transgender clinics I've been able to find in the Mesa Area. And they've failed to serve the LGBTQ community who desperately need care right now. I don't have months of my estrogen to wait. So I will be looking for care elsewhere.

Dr. Taylor and her staff created the best experience one could imagine. Understanding, compasionate, and professional. Dr. Taylor truley care about her patients.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Dr. Taylor actually cares and the staff is so nice, they went above and beyond for me and I’m so thankful. If I ever end up needing this service again which I hope not I would definitely come back here a million times.

I want to thank Dr. Taylor and the amazing staff of nurses that made my experience wonderful and comfortable. They were kind, patient and understanding! I would definitely recommend them.

It’s literally impossible to get a hold of anyone via phone during their business hours on Tuesday/Thursdays. I’m still waiting to hear back on an exam done over a month ago, and left several voicemails, messages and emails to no avail, despite they claiming that front-desk would follow-up on results “by end of week” during my appointment. No care for patient well-being or response after appointment. I’m left with no choice but to rebook and redo the same exam at another facility.

Each staff member was extremely kind and answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable. 10/10 recommend!

I am in my second year of getting a well woman exam with the doctors office. I always have a nice experience and I’m thankful for their time and care of me.

Overall I had a comfortable and easy experience with Dr. Taylor. i had to wait for a while, but they were short an employee and I came in right after a break for the office

The nurses were very kind. I had a bit of a time finding the suit And you can’t get anyone on the phone. Doctor seemed she had other things to do. She actually stated she had things to do. So that was a bit off putting. But over all the visit was ok.

The staff is very kind of courteous and doctor Taylor is exceptional and knows her job and she explains it to you, spends time with you it's not 5 minutes in and 5 minutes out

I came to this place for the first time last week and they were amazing from the moment I walked in. Everybody made me feel comfortable. They also accept ahccs! And only take walk ins.

I love the staff starting from reception to the back office. Very nice and welcoming. Dr Taylor is amazing. She was empathetic and very informative.
