Such a great studio! Popped in on a weekend visit to Phoenix and had a fabulous class with Emma. The space is clean and beautiful. Vibe is warm and energetic. And the yoga was an amazing start to the day. Definitely stop by and sweat a bit. You’ll be so glad.

Wow! What a fun way to exercise. I have never taken a spin class before and was slightly nervous. The staff was friendly and helped me setup my bike with the clip in shoes (highly suggest renting the shoes if you don't have your own). Erin taught the class and she was fabulous! She was positive, energetic and made it easy to follow along. My legs were on fire for days! I highly recommend Sweatshops spin classes.

Sweatshop is great! I started with Alexandra and Jacob , who are great yoga teachers and role-models, but I keep getting impressed by the quality of all teachers I've seen there. I dig the look of the studio and the location, too. 👌 ✌️

This studio is a slice of heaven! It’s like coming home from the moment I walk in. It’s so warm and welcoming … everyone greets me by name and every class I’ve taken whether yoga or spin is top notch! It’s clean and well taken care of and it’s an honor to support this local business.

I have never worked out as much as I am now. I am obsessed with the sweatshop. I started for the spin classes but now also love their yoga classes. I’m obsessed especially with Monique’s, Heather’s and Bex’s class. They kick my butt for sure but make me feel absolutely amazing. Never thought I would be a member at such a cute studio but I can genuinely say I am obsessed. Ashley, the owner, has done a fabulous job at creating an atmosphere and community.

Kristen’s Sunday morning 10:30 class is hands down the best yoga class I’ve ever taken in my life! I almost didn’t want to leave this review because it already gets waitlisted and I don’t want to lose my spot lol. However, I think everyone should experience this class at least once and then try to convince me I’m wrong about it!!

I LOVE THIS STUDIO. I am so sad I am leaving Phoenix. Ashley the owner is such a warm and welcoming person. All of the instructors are incredible! The classes have helped me get in some of the best shape i’ve ever been in. I actually enjoyed going to the gym which never happens for me because I am not a gym person. Sweatshop is such a rare and special place that I am grateful for. I never felt judged and it really did feel like a safe place for me. I’ll miss it and everyone there so much.

I just moved to midtown from Texas and tried out this studio. I’ve had a great experience, the instructors are all nice, inviting, funny, and informative. I took an inversion workshop which I loved because not a lot of yoga studios offer this. This studio is an 5 minute drive from where I live, so that’s a big bonus. Overall great experience and I plan to signup for the monthly unlimited plan.

I love love love this place! I’ve been doing yoga on and off for years and after taking a class here a few months ago, I attend once a week now! I look forward to it so much. Everyone is so kind, both staff and other customers. I forgot my yoga mat today and they lent me one for no charge, with a smile on their face. I can’t say enough good things! I’ve also done spin here and it was an amazing workout as well.

Attended a spin class where the proceeds helped benefit the St. Paul De Vincent bike drive. Instructor Lisa was wonderful! As all of the staff I came into contact with upon arrival were warm and welcoming.

I joined Sweatshop about two months ago. I was very nervous about “joining a gym” after being on a hiatus from working out for the last twenty years. I never felt intimidated or embarrassed. The studio and the people welcomed me with open arms. I literally made friends with people on my second day there and now have “work out buddies”. This has been a great experience thus far and it has literally changed my life. I look forward to spin and yoga classes and will eventually get the courage to try barre. I highly recommend Sweatshop and give it my stamp of approval. I encourage anyone and everyone.

The Sweatshop is the place to give it all you have. Spin is my favorite way to escape and feel the incredible rush of an intense workout. I have favorite time and class but I mix it up and grow. Yoga gives me the zen I need. I always move towards the barre. My next adventure. I love that I am greeted when I arrive and acknowledged when I leave. I really feel the power of the Sweatshop.

Great facility with a lot of good class times. It’s a great yoga workout. Not so much of a spiritual side of the practice if that’s what you’re looking for. I like both so I come when I want to sweat. I appreciate that the classes are warmed but not overly hot. It’s not nearly as heated as some hot studios, and I love that. My biggest complaint is that the classes frequently go over the allotted time (by even up to 10 mins or so). I want a studio to value my time and stick to their plan so I can be on my way. Otherwise I’m snoozing happily through savasana then once the class ends I realize I’m late for dinner 😂

Great family feel. Wonderful instructors who provide important direction for me to make adjustments that change my whole practice! I always love coming here and practicing while looking out the glass frosted windows. Not pretentious or judgey. I walk in the door and feel safe. Thank you sweatshop!

I love this beautiful studio so darn much - I've been a regular at yoga since it opened 6 years ago. The space is so serene-whether in the daytime or at night-and the variety of teaching styles and personalities has allowed me to learn and grow from every teacher I've taken class with. Special appreciation for Ashley, Justin, Kandi, Kristin, Brady, and Bex, but the truth is I've never had a yoga class at Sweatshop I didn't enjoy and benefit from. Grateful to be a part of their yogi community & always looking forward to my next class

Lovely location and overall great studio. Kind and compassionate staff who make you feel welcome from the moment you step in the door. I love the big garage doors that open up into the courtyard and the mirrorless room to practice inward mindfulness. They have consent cards for adjustments which is refreshing and the class is warmed to the perfect temperature. A peaceful and bright place to practice.

Sweatshop has the best barre classes in central Phoenix by far. Creative and helpful instructors who know how to make it burnnn, great ambiance with large garage doors that open up to bring a fresh breeze, plenty of equipment to make each class unique and an inviting front desk! 10/10 would definitely recommend 😁

I’ve been coming here since February since it’s close by and wanted to embark on a health journey. At first I was a bit intimidated since I haven’t worked out in so long and was also so out of shape. Upon arriving I welcomed and felt so comfortable. Every instructor here along with the owner make it a priority to know your name and overall provide a welcoming environment. All the instructors here are unique. Although I have a long ways to go, I’m so glad I came here and rave about this studio.

Some of the best instructors in the city and such a great space to practice in! I had a back injury that’s caused chronic pain for the past 3 years and yoga has been the only training method that doesn’t aggravate things. Practicing here over the past year has slowly restored my flexibility, movement and ability to explore my limitations without pain!

I’ve been going to sweatshop on central for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I have the unlimited membership so I get to go as much or as little as I want a month. I love the flexibility of choosing which workout I will do for the day, whether it be barre, yoga, or spin. Great instructors, great vibes! I love it here!

Attended Sat 10am spin class with Rachel for the first time. The workout is Amazing!! Today we ride with the Micheal Jackson theme, classic, many sprints and core strengthen exercise. Love the music, loved the spirits ~ I’ll definitely be a regular, thank you Rachel !

I’ve taken heated flow regular and with the garage open and both are awesome! Such a cute and clean place. Garage open classes are my fav because you still get the group workout feel but get fresh air. Every instructor has been super nice and helpful. Would recommend!

I've been considering joining Sweatshop on Central for a few years but for some reason or another it didn't work out. We'll, I've finally signed up and taken 2 yoga classes with Justin and my experience has been great! I'm a pretty average person in my practice and looks and I don't wear cute matching yoga outfits but everyone has been very nice, especially the staff. I'm looking forward to taking more classes and giving barre and spin a shot too. Oh ya, and they have showers, which is a bonus for me because I tend to constantly be on the go. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Sweatshop is simply fantastic! I’ve been taking Spin and Yoga classes for years here, and I’m so incredibly impressed by the quality of instructors, the kindness of all the staff and the overall set up of the classes and studio. I can’t wait to weave in some Barre classes too! Absolutely worth becoming a regular!

Love Sweatshop so much. Have been coming regularly (specifically yoga) for almost two years, and even when I was new the instructors were very welcoming. Yoga classes can be tailored to all levels, and the streaming option is a great addition. Love to support a local business like this!

I started coming to this studio about 5 years ago and I really love and respect the place and the owner. The teaching is high quality and they offer a variety of classes from which to choose. I am a yoga teacher and this is the place that I come to practice. If you want a clean, safe place with excellent teachers, you won't be disappointed with Sweatshop!

I love this studio! Wonderful instructors, great community, variety of options to reach your fitness health and well-being goals (yoga, barre, spin, workshops, gong meditations, kids events). Sweatshop is mindfully designed and maintained by the kind and talented Ashley Zettler (she also teaches yoga there). Trust me you want to check this place out.

I've had an almost daily morning yoga practice at this wonderful space for several years now. Always a well curated and skilled teaching staff with a solid understanding of various practice styles and backgrounds in yoga. Highly recommend!

Such a nice place! Dropped in on a Sunday morning while traveling in Phoenix. $15 for traveling drop in which is great! Took a vinyasa flow class on a gorgeous day, they had the garage open and it was lovely. Teacher was great and mat was included. Great to be able to get on a mat while business traveling! Super easy check-in, great bathrooms with showers in a prime location in mid town.

I’ve been going to Sweatshop consistently for a few years now. I appreciate that I can take a variety of classes in one location depending on what kind of workout I’m looking for. But the thing that really makes me loyal to Sweatshop are the instructors. It doesn’t matter if it’s your first class or you fiftieth… everyone is so kind, so positive, and so welcoming.

  • 3/5 Deanna B. 7 months ago on Google
The class was fun with the instructor having high energy and motivational! However, for newer members, there isn’t much guidance. No one was at the front desk, just an iPad to check in. I didn’t realize I needed to grab weights prior to getting on the bike, I didn’t know where to grab a towel. There is also absolutely no AC!! I attend several classes at other studios in this summer heat and it doesn’t compare. You legit SWEAT just sitting there.

I love going to Sweat Shop. The work outs are always rewarding and fun. All the staff and instructors are wonderfully encouraging and the space is truly welcoming. I’ve been to other boutique gyms before and didn’t feel comfortable, but Sweat Shop has such an inviting and accepting atmosphere.

I love this place! I’ve been taking classes here for about a month and it has drastically improved my everyday mood. The instructors are so nice and I love having three different forms of exercise to choose from. Ashley and Emma are my favorite yoga instructors. I’m not great at yoga but I feel like I keep up with the flow of their classes. Monique is an amazing spin instructor and her energy is infectious.

Took my first ever barre class and it was super fun! The instructor was amazing. She was so funny, encouraging, and brought great energy to the room. Trust me, trying a new activity at a new place can be intimidating, but every single person in the class and employee was welcoming and kind. Will be going back!

I love love love Sweatshop! I've been coming for almost 2 years and I've taken several classes with several instructors. All my experiences have been positive. The vibe of the studio is welcoming and nonjudgmental with constant positivity and friendliness. Classes typically feel pretty diverse and I've always felt encouraged by instructors no matter my fitness level or skill. Instructors are hands-on and helpful, never intimidating - happy to help with shoe rental, clipping in, correcting poses, encouraging trying new things. Such a great local gym with so much to offer! I especially love yoga classes with Ashley, Justin, Bex & Courtney, and spin with Lisa!

I love this place! All instructors are very friendly and they truly know what they are doing!!! Ashley, owner, is accommodating and really knows how to run her business. I feel good here. I am older than most but I have never made felt that I did not belong, I really like that. The studio is clean and inviting! Thank You All for helping in our fitness and health!!!!

I had so much fun! This was my first class, my friend invited me, it was Barre (less) with Alexa I believe. Website made it easy to find a class and get signed up. Facility was bright and clean, instructor had great energy and was easy to understand-flowed through the moves really well. IT WAS HARD, but exciting to realize I could actually keep up, mostly! Lol overall great experience and I will be trying another class again.

Beautiful studio! Staff are very inviting. I really enjoyed my yoga session with my friends who are regulars at your studio. Would definitely love to come back! The instructor led a great session! Thank you!

I like this studio. It can get crowded but the people who work and practice here are friendly and respectful and welcoming of all abilities. Something for everyone from restorative yoga to more intense flows and spin class.
