I don’t ever write reviews. However, sometimes in certain situations in life when you come across a person you value so much, the best thing you can do is tell as many people about them as possible. Rocky is very talented. She is a wonderfully warm and hospitable person but most of all, she is an amazing stylist. I don’t dye my hair and hadn’t had a cut in six years due to chronic illness. Needless to say I was feeling quite frumpy and hesitant to trust anyone with my long, virgin hair (that many friends offered to cut ‘cause they knew how 🙄’)…So I knew it was all different lengths. Rocky took hours working on my hair and when she was done, I couldn’t believe it was my head! She listened attentively and made sure to understand exactly what I wanted. She gave me the most beautiful color and cut and I had a blast spending time with someone who treated me like a friend. The only thing I can say is Rocky is a gem. Her salon is beautiful and clean and she makes you feel at home with her. If you want a cut from someone who listens and has years of experience to back up her work, go to Rocky’s so she can bless you with a gorgeous style and supremely positive vibes! Thank you Rocky!

First of all, I love the name Rocky. My wife won't let me name our son Rocky unfortunately, but that's another story. I was able to get a list minute appointment with Rocky, which was helpful in preventing me from looking like a caveman over the holidays. It was a great experience overall, warm personality, attentive and of course the cut turned out great! I opted to get my hair shampooed and the wonderful lady who assisted me was superb. She was also attentive and took time to make sure I was OK and comfortable with different things like water temp, pressure during the shampoo, and asking for permission to begin. I wasn't familiar with some of this, and asked about it, and she explained that she understands that different people are sensitive to different things, or may have special preferences or even sensory issues, so she wants to make sure her customers are comfortable and agree before moving forward. If people applied the kind of thoughtfulness I received during my shampoo to other areas of their lives and to family, friends and strangers they meet, imagine how much more of an accepting world this would be. I was so pleased with the experience that I brought my 22 month old son back later the same day for a cut. Rocky did a fantastic job with his cut, despite all him dodging, dipping, ducking, diving and dodging! He was even given a small toy, a little plastic dinosaur car, which he loves and plays all the time! Thanks a ton! We'll be back!

Just got back from my second visit ever to Rocky’s and I am sooo happy with my hair! Patty was so friendly and sweet and welcomed me as soon as I walked in and talked me through the entire process. She knew exactly what my hair needed and I am so happy with how it turned out when I usually leave in tears. Thank you so much Patty - I will be back!!! :)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rocky and her team! My daughter is very closed off and uncomfortable in public. With medical illness and extreme anxiety, she hides from life and will not even attend public school anymore. When we arrived at Ricky’s we were welcomed with such warmness. The atmosphere feels safe, nonjudgmental, and kind. This was her first time at Rocky’s. Within 20 minutes she was smiling looked relaxed and wanted me to leave so that she could be there on her own. I was shocked. Over the next few hours the ladies transformed my girl. When I arrived back, they did this amazing surprise reveal and their passion and excitement just shined through! As I uncovered my eyes it was like I cam back to a new teenager full of confidence, joy and love for herself! Don’t ever underestimate the power of human compassion and love. Rocky made us feel like her family in just hours. My daughter’s struggles have been long and trying. This team may never truly know just how much they touched our lives today. My girl’s darkness was washed away!

Rocky made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door and truly cared about what I envisioned for my hair. Rocky sat with me, talled through options for what I wanted, and discussed the pros and cons to the photos I showed her. As a fulltime student that works fulltime, I have a certain budget to maintain. Rocky was beyond understanding and worked within my means to give me the hair style I truly wanted. My hair looks absolutely amazing!!!! Thank you to Rocky for the amazing hair and to the entire staff for the warm welcome and for feeling like part of the family while I was there. After ignoring and neglecting my hair for a while, I finally decided to try out Rocky's hair salon. I'm always uneasy and nervous in salons, but Patty made me feel like I came home for Sunday breakfast. She was so sweet to everyone in the room. Corrie was also so sweet! I felt very relaxed and like I could trust Patty would take care of me. My hair looks and feels fantastic. I gave Patty a rough idea of what I wanted and she NAILED it. Thank you Rocky's 🙌

My sister and I had great afternoon in Rocky’s salon. We both love our new look and color! She and her assistant Kim were super nice and personable the throughout our whole time there. I really love the way they treated new clients like friends. I would Highly recommend!

My partner (trans man) and I chose this salon after they assured us on the phone that they are gender affirming. While the haircut itself has been average and okay, my partner has never been asked his pronouns, and was most recently shaved (facial) without consent. This experience was very triggering, made him feel stripped of his identity, and resulted in feelings of shame and gender dysphoria. I would hope going forward that the staff can practice more discretion and challenge their assumptions by asking for pronouns and for permission before providing certain services. I would advise anyone in a similar situation to be very explicit about what you do not want, or they don't seem to ask and will do things they think are best on their own.

I rarely have my hair done professionally (once a year or less) and write reviews even less frequently. I had THE BEST experience with Rocky's this week- they fit me in last minute for a cut and color, the atmosphere was so cozy, and Patty did a phenomenal job with my hair. I'm already looking forward to going back!
