This restaurant is probably the BEST Punjabi Restaurant (Vegetarian) in Ludhiana. I was absolutely delighted with their food and service. Here I tried authentic punjabi foods like Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer Butter Masala and Laccha Paratha. Although the Dal Makhani was extremely oily (ghee), the other items were really good. The Dal Makhani had ghee floating on the top, which is outright unhealthy. Laccha Paratha & Shahi Paneer Butter Masala were absolutely delectable. Highly recommended for people who love Punjabi foods.😋🫶🏻

For vegetarian people,best place to visit ,there Dal and Prarthana is just amazing and mouth watering, one must try to feel the yummnes,,i found parking is lil difficult to find,otherwise overall experience is too good 👍

They have very SMALL Menu but you don't need anything other than Dal (Mouth Watering) is very Very tasty 😋 Dal is prepared with choicest masalas With apt of every indegrient

Food is amazing. We tried Shahi Paneer, Mixed Vegetable, Butter Naan & Ghee Roti. All the food items were awesome! Staff's behaviour too is good! Liked the ambience too.

This dhabha serves the best daal tarka and laccha parantha in Ludhiana. Yummiest food. We also ordered Shahi paneer but that was not good.

Friends Dhaba continues to uphold its legacy with the same authentic taste that has delighted food lovers like me for years. Their Dal Fry is rich in flavours with their special zeera tadka, Malai Kofta, and Shahi Paneer is packed with flavor. The Cheese Tomato and Bhartha is worth trying too, while the Cold Kheer is the perfect sweet finish. If you’re looking for classic, time-tested flavors, this is the place to be!

Their Dal Makhani and Laccha Paratha is the favourite amoung their customers. They serve only north Indian veg meals. Seating is ok (not very comfortable). Parking is difficult as it is located in a very busy area near clock tower. However, the taste of their dishes makes every discomfort worth the pain.

I had gone to Ludhiana for some office work, so I searched for the best hotel at night and I found out about this hotel which is very close to the railway station, so I reached this Friends Dhaba at around 9 pm. I saw that there was a lot of crowd at the Dhaba so the guard asked me to wait for 10 minutes and then I went inside the Dhaba I looked at the Dhaba menu, there were limited dishes so I ordered Dal Fry and Baingan Bharta which was quite good The staff was also very good. Whenever you go to Ludhiana, do eat at this hotel.

A bit expensive than other restros, in the area! Overall food was good, service was fast, but the person who was serving seems a bit rude, idk if it's his nature or what, but I didn't had good vibes from him, also while paying, he sat on my head, and was continuously looking in my phone, like if I'm going without paying him, it's basic common sense to not make your customers feel like a culprit.

Its the worst experience you will have for the food , i order dal makhni double tadka and paneer with Roti, please do not waste your money and time. go somewhere else.PLEASE do NOT TRY

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious flavors and expertly prepared dishes. The presentation was also quite lovely, showing attention to detail. However, the pace of the service was unfortunately rather slow. This slightly detracted from the overall dining experience. I hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.

A must visit for any outsider visiting ludhiana, the all time favourite delicacy- their ULTIMATE DAL is just heavenly. Always a wonderful experience.
