Superb staff with great quality food with generous portions … we were there for our colleagues Retirement lunch. Clean very organized place and the staff were very welcoming accommodating us all…. Ordered the Vietnamese veggie salad ,chicken avocado salad and Loaded veggie nachos(spicy). Drinks were served first and they were also v good… the food surpassed our expectations and we enjoyed it a lot . Our new fav ❤️

We ordered off the dinner menu because that’s the menu available around 12:00PM! The chicken fingers and fries were delicious! The sesame chicken was tasty! But the cheese burger barely had any flavour, so our expectations were definitely not met. The waitress was super kind and efficient and absolutely loved her service, name Taylor! The chicken strips sauce was loved by everyone, it literally saved the cheese burger. This location is great but maybe don’t order the cheeseburger. Anyways, always a great time at Jack Astor’s.

Jack of all traits and master of none ! This old saying really fits perfectly to this popular location in Sherway Gardens. The good thing about Jack’s is that it is a safe bet and you will never be disappointed. The massive size of this location which accommodates so many people makes sure u will get a seat or wait very little even on a Saturday night. So .. it’s still better to reserve a table. Order anything and they will serve u a portion so big that you can never finish alone. On top of that that the plate presentation is like a quality controller had put some audit standards so you will never ever go wrong on that front too. They have an army of waiters covering the floor and with their polite made up Canadian manners … the whole act is expected to be cookie cutter experience of flawless performance and service standards. Overall the place is vibrant with lots of music, big tv screens and dazzling decor not to forget the interesting quotes all the waiters have on their t-shirts.

This is one of the best restaurants in the area! The wings were one of the best of all time, good match with the ceaser salad and the Buffalo chicken strips. Burger was amazing and flavours really popped. I would recommend this to everyone. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating.

Nice place for a casual lunch or dinner. Visited today for lunch with my wife. Menu is very extensive and all chicken items are Halal. I see limited sea food choices which can be good addition to the menu. Had a late breakfast so ordered some Nachos / Salad / Chicken Wings. Every thing was very tasty and portion sizes were bigger than expected. Nachos was the star of the food I ordered. Service quality was very good and the crew were very polite and provided good service. Music was bit louder than what I prefer but was acceptable. Surely will visit again

Jack's at Sherway has a make-over since our last visit. Nice neon sign at the entrance, "Live Free and Eat". Led lights hung from the ceiling over the bar area. There is a lot more seating than before. I had the salmon bowl with sauce on the side. Sweet potato fries are "mushy", lack of a better word. Cat, our server, was very accommodating and had them replaced. If you like loud music, you'll enjoy the dB. A little too loud for my sensitive ears.

An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Jack Astor's, the atmosphere captivated us. It wasn't just a restaurant; it was a delightful visual experience, a feast for our senses even before we tasted the food. The decor, a blend of modern and vintage, had us lost in admiration. With an eye for detail, we noted the vintage frame that held a sense of charm and history. It was a testament to Jack Astor's timeless appeal, a nod to the past while embracing the present. Drawing our eyes upward, the coloured ceiling lights were an absolute spectacle. Nil, in particular, was enamoured by them. The lights cast a warm, magical glow, creating a cosy and inviting ambiance. This sense of comfort translated into our drinks - a tasteful Gim and Coke, and a Caesar that were as colourful as the lights above. Each sip was a symphony of flavours, the drinks expertly crafted, boasting a savoury balance that left us wanting more. As for the food, it was a gastronomic delight. The chicken fingers were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, each bite a testament to the chef's skill. The salad, fresh and vibrant, offered a delightful contrast. Nil's steak was a carnivore's dream, cooked to perfection, the flavours rich and robust. Each dish reflected Jack Astor's commitment to quality, the ingredients fresh and the presentation appealing. But what truly set the experience apart was our server, Michelle. She was a bundle of energy, her personality as bubbly as the champagne they serve. Her service was impeccable, making our dining experience smooth and memorable. She was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed and more. In a world where dining out has become commonplace, Jack Astor's at Sherway Gardens stands out. It is not just about food and drinks, it's about creating an experience - a blend of ambiance, excellent cuisine, and warm service. This is more than a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made, and we are eager to make more.

Nice bar that we usually drop by when going to Sherway Gardens shopping mall. The sangria is nice and food is okay. I do recommend this place when you’re in the neighborhood and want to watch a game or two:)

The parking and service were fantastic! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the waiter was super helpful and patient! I was very disappointed in the portion size of my bowl especially since it was over $20! I was still very hungry after and had to order fries after. Overall, I would come here again, but I would be a bit more attentive as to what I'm ordering, especially if I'm very hungry!

Been to this location several times. Service is fairly good, usually there's little to no wait on the times I've gone. This review, I went on a Tuesday night with a friend. It was busy, but not to the point where it was crowded and not having to talk so loudly in conversation. Ordered the holiday appetizer mushroom and gruyere cheese dip, and mains were fish tacos with ceasar salad and steak with Fries. Food was okay, good for quick and casual. Always fun to draw with crayons on the table covered with brown paper. Good for casual date nights, hang outs with friends and family.

Lime Sriracha 1 lb wings. Absolutely no flavour. Very disappointing. The sweet potato fries tasted better

Great food and the service was very quick and friendly. We got nachos, a chicken Cobb salad, Asiago chicken bow ties and a stir fry with shrimp. 10/10 on all the meals.

We walked in and were seated promptly. Waiter came over quickly and asked for our drinks. We then placed our order and waited about 15 minutes. Everything except the appetizer came out as the staff forgot to grab the app. I had to inquire on the app about 10 minutes after we received our food. The food was delicious. However, we witnessed the waiter running his hands through his hair constantly and I found that very unsanitary( good thing he didn’t bring out food out) . Also waited a very long time to have plates removed from our table until another waiter noticed and he kindly removed the plates from our table. Our waiter, was in the kitchen stuffing his face. Which left me to get my own napkins and to go containers. Again, I thought eating in plain sight was a bit unprofessional. Perhaps someone should have relieved him to allow him to go on break. Other than that, the food was delicious. Great job chefs!

Was an enjoyable experience on the patio. Got pretty loud after a large table was sat. Food was good, nothing I'd go out of the way for or order again. Once we were finished we were waiting about 20 mins before we got the check, but the server was very nice, probably just busy.

Love this place! We decided to split a meal, and they served it on two separate plates for us, which was much appreciated! We ate in the bar area - amazing service. Will be back again.

Jay was such a great server! Made excellent recommendations for starters such as the lobster dip. He was very friendly and made the overall experience amazing. Will come again soon :)

We came to have a night out and we also got a coupon in the mail. Staff greeting us were pleasant and happy. Server could have been more welcoming, maybe it was an off day for her. Watching the kitchen was great and atmosphere and deco was very fun and attractive. The burger was fantastic while the Thai chicken bowl had minimum chicken and 90% snow peas...our beers were flat we brought them to the bar and the bartender replaced them no problem. Okay experience, not rushing to return.

I dined at this location with a friend last week and had high level of service from our server, Christian! I dine out often and have to point out the level of customer service we got from their team and especially from Christian, is rare to find in the service industry. Thanks again for your attentiveness and energy. I wish most restaurants had the level of customer service we got from Christian that evening. The food was overall great... prices were higher than what I recall but I had a $20 food card sent to me by mail so that helped. Cheers to the memorable evening!

Food and drinks were good, service was good. Seating wasn't the best beside the door where servers came through, good use of patio and umbrella from shade. Overall happy, just wished we had a better seat location

Good place to hang out with friends. Pretty family friendly. I had the Classic Double Burger and found the Patties were too dry but could be due to it being overcooked it this time? The chicken fingers were ok. Tender but not much flavour. Wife had the grilled Cajun Salmon. Bit too salty. Overall, not a bad casual place to hang out. Big clean place and a good sized lounge and patio. Lots of good food competition in the area which is great.

The food was awesome and I loved the vegan Mexican bowl we ordered. The server Steff was so nice in throughout the dining but started acting rude at the end as we didn’t tipped him as its considered bad in our culture. He started smashing crockery on the tables and was angry and told us that he would remember our face for next time. I seriously didn’t liked this at all and was a major mood spoiler.

Fun atmosphere, clean and well organized space. Friendly staff and good service. The food was good but not great. I was disappointed in the garlic pan bread. I had even talked it up to the people I was with who had never had it but was sadly disappointed with it. The bread was over cooked, almost burnt on top, and lacked flavor. We didn't even finish it as no one at our table enjoyed it.

You can never go wrong with their chicken fingers and fries!! Total staple with their buffalo sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed their grilled chicken wrap as-well. Definitely recommend making that upgrade to truffle fries if you are getting a side of fries (very addictive) Friendly service and nice atmosphere 👍🏻

Busy bar. We were there on a Saturday night, we had to wait for 30 minutes. Enough drink and food options, large screens on the wall to watch sports. The ice hockey game was on, it was great to watch. Good place to visit with friends.

Phenomenal service at this Jack Astor's! Went on a date with my girlfriend, and Ryan, our server, was the absolute best. Welcoming, friendly, enthusiastic, and checked in regularly with us. He knew the menu perfectly. He did more than we could ever ask for and made us want to come back. Thanks Ryan for a really incredible service! 👏

We decided to visit Jack's Sherway after their new renovations were finished, and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed a brand new atmosphere, very modern and open. I loved the lighting and the colourful murals around the outside of the building. The menu was updated with a few new items, some being: tacos and truffle-themed dishes. Our old favourites seemed to be revamped too, tasting better than I remember! Shoutout to Jonah our host, very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
