I booked and reserved a specific room for 2 nights with a tub almost 3 weeks in advance. When I arrived at the room I immediately noticed that this room was not what I reserved. I called the front desk and was informed that the room that I reserved was not available. The only reason I booked and reserved this room for 2 nights was the availability of a tub. I checked other hotels in area and they didn't have available rooms either. It was basically take it or leave it. I cancelled my 2nd night ( why pay for a room that I didn't request ), but have not seen the refund on my credit card statement yet. They're great at taking a reservation. They don't know how to actually hold the reservation.

We stayed here for one night, The person at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The facilites are very nice and clean. Modern look to the hotel and rooms. The breakfast area was clean and well attended by staff. Close to the 401 and lots of eateries in the area which is very convenient. A nice touch is the Dove soap in the bathroom.

My family stayed Jan 4, 2023. It was a horrible experience!!! Not only did they originally give us a room that was already occupied providing access to someone’s entires belongings, etc when it was brought to the front staff’s attention they acted as though it was not a big deal. NOW, 2 days later my credit card has been charged more than triple the amount, with the general manager ignoring emails and phone calls. I am appalled by this blatant disregard to my complaints and concerns! I would highly recommend that people stay away from this hotel!!

Why rent a king room with a jacuzzi bath when there is no water pressure. Took half an hour for 2 inches of water. This was supposed to be a nice start to our honeymoon. Didn't even get to use it. I will never rent a room with a jacuzzi tub from here again. Must be located on a drag strip. Not much sleep when in a room On the front of the building. Onto the next. On a positive the room was nice.

Spent two nights in a king suite. The check in was seamless. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The TV technology could use an upgrade though. Breakfast was more than adequate and well organized. Every staff member we engaged were friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely stay here again.

Had to change rooms mid stay/forced out early. Decided to use some points up for a business trip. Was odd when they didn't have a king or queen room for the entire stay, and needed me to come in during the work day to swap rooms mid stay. Inconvenient, but not the worst. I then got a call a day before I was supposed to check out, asking me if I needed to extend my stay as there was still things in the room. I told them I was booked until the next day, and yes, was staying another night. They then called back saying they were fully booked, and could only give me the room for an insane $385. I packed up and left, canceling the final day of my work trip. Their only offer to make up for their mistake was to kick another guest out that night for $385. Not impressed at all.

I would put ZERO if I can. Horrible service. Booked a room w/ 2 Queen Size beds and was told at check in that there's only a King room available. MANAGER that was supposed to be helping me, left and did not return because apparently she's checking all the rooms. Other patrons were waiting also upset bc their rooms were all not ready at check in - it was 530PM. No help given. We, all 4 of us, have to sleep in a king size bed for the next 2 nights. Fun times. Glad we chose this place to spend our vacation. Terrible. Horrible. Place. Apparently complaining would be to the same manager that walked away from me - so there goes any kind of complaints.

Clean, quiet, convenient hotel just off the 401. Many choices nearby for food. Go train 10 minutes by foot. The hot breakfast was good, omelettes, sausages, pancakes. The room was good, only complaint with the room is that I was unable to connect my computer to the TV. I was going to ask the front desk about it but a large storm knocked out power to a good portion of the region and we left early due to storm damage in our home neighborhood. Edited to add... Staff were amazing during the power outage. Guests that had checked in after the power loss had to be manually let into their rooms. Staff were organized and professional dealing with no electricity/computers.

Comfy bed, great breakfast! The owners were walking around making sure guests could navigate the breakfast area. A little bit loud due to the proximity to the very busy boulevard but close to the 401 to get back on the road!

This place was the cleanest hotel In the area. 👍 The Staff are pleasant and accommodating.. Security guard on night shift is great! Outside pool area was relaxing .. I would recommend this hotel if you are traveling. Denyse

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express following a wedding in the area. Clean rooms, attentive staff, and location close to the 401 were great. We worked with the staff to setup a block booking and it was a seamless experience for our guests.

Nice clean and equipped rooms. Good breakfast. The staff was not overly friendly but there was not a lot of interaction, and they were dealing with a lacrosse tournament group, so who knows...

Was in Durham region to visit some friends and family for a couple nights. The hotel was clean, very easy to get to off the highway, lots of parking. The people at front desk were very friendly. We stayed in the King bed suite, the room was massive! Lots of room for two parents and a baby. Would definitely come back here next time!

Arrived on a weekend without a reservation but I was processed through check in quickly by a very friendly attendant. All amenities such as fitness centre, WiFi and breakfast were clearly explained. Room was impeccably clean, with crisp white bedding and the most comfortable pillows ever. Aside from the torn shower curtain it was absolutely perfect, clean and very quiet overnight. Would return without hesitation.

This inn hotel is on the outskirts of Toronto, by highway 401, a bit deep north of highway, but easily found, with another hotel share the same entrance. Hotel offers complimentary continental breakfast, with milk,orange and apple juice, yogurt, pancake machine, just press a button, and 2 fresh pancake out/drop at the end, make sure you put a plate underneath 😋. Coffee, cereal, dry nut,fruit, sausage/bacon, crumble/fried egg, toast, bagel, banana. There's a breakfast restaurant nearby, called Sunset Grill, you have to pay. Room is clean,spacious, safe, microwave, fridge, ice machine only at the ground floor near gym, there is pool outside. Elevator opening is right next a door near the reception desk, bit crumbling, no room moving around. Free parking with enough space

Friendly, competent staff, Immaculately clean, comfortable rooms with good reading lighting. Nice common areas. Great gym. Excellent location.

The bed was comfortable and clean but you could see the room had been warn in well. The wallpaper was bubbling and there was a good amount of dust/dirt stuck in the corners of the bathroom. We also had no cable TV all night after calling 3 times and had no luck. We did get a room discount but still made the visit less comforting. The breakfast was no great either... had to wait in line for about 15 mins to be served at 7am.

I loved this hotel. Very clean and beautiful rooms. The whole hotel was beautifully finished. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially the staff that handled breakfast. The eating area was spotless. The breakfast was the typical Holiday inn Express fare, but it seemed better prepared.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and it would have been a flawless experience had we received our towels in a timely manner. We checked in around 9 pm and had to wait until 11 pm to receive body towels (hand and face towels were stocked). I was told it had to do with staffing. Other than that, the hotel is very clean, the staff are SO friendly and the location was perfect for us, so close to the 401 to continue our journey the following day.

Very clean, awesome breakfast. I love that there are plugs everywhere - USBs, power etc. for charging laptops, phones, and for those of us who travel with other items that need charging. Breakfast was hot! Good coffee. Honestly - great hotel. Quiet. The whole bit.

We stayed one night this past weekend. The staff was wonderful, the room was spotless and huge. It is very close to the 401, and easy to get to. The breakfast room was very clean and very well managed. The gentleman working there was so nice and helpful and very pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again! Thank you Annie and the rest of the staff!

Loved staying here!! Right off the highway in a very convenient location with lots nearby. Entire hotel was very clean from lobby, to elevators to hallways and rooms! Amazing customer service from front desk, to breakfast staff (George was so lovely), to housekeeping. The included breakfast was great and all we needed with enough of hot and cold options. The pancake machine was a fun novelty. Rooms were very clean and updated. Will definitely choose to stay here again when we are in the area. I'm surprised it's only rated as a 2-star hotel! I'd give it way more than that!
