The food was horrible, the only good thing was the server Sonia that is friendly. The paella is so spicy.

This place has pretty good food. It's not the best thing in the world but the place is so nostalgic. And with half priced burgers and pasta on Wednesdays there's nothing to complain about. Staff are a hit or miss. They're either the sweetest people in the world or kind of rude and pay little attention to you. Poutine is fire.

This restaurant has become a second home since the pandemic and the staff has become a second family. It’s a place where the owner, staff, and the regulars welcome you with open arms. In terms of food, the breakfast is always a hit and as for the rest of the menu, I’ve never been displeased with the wide variety of flavourful, well priced options. If you enjoy singing, Thursday karaoke is never a bad time with a live DJ keeping things going (and half priced tequila shots and nachos!) For sports, there’s no bad seat as there are tvs in every direction. It’s a place for everyone !

During university I used to come to this bar after games and to watch champions league. A few options on draft and standard fare in a bottle. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is I gave the server a $20 on a $14 dollar tab, she said she'd come back with my change and never came back. I waited around and eventually had to go. That's like a 42% tip. It wasn't busy in there but I guess that's what I get for paying cash.

Ordered from Skip for four people, price was $100ish after tax and tip, so normal for what we spend. The penne vodka was okay, mostly tasted of bacon. The burger and fries were also okay. The chicken souvlaki was dry, ate it drenched in the sauce. The rice was just plain rice so not much flavour to the dish as a whole. The full rack of ribs was terrible, my father couldn’t eat it, it was so dry and flavourless. Not good at all. Not a great experience, I wouldn’t order from here again unfortunately. TL;DR: two meals okay, the meat dishes were to dry to eat.

I had given this restaurant 5 stars when I visited here 2 years ago. But based on how it went yesterday, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. And its mostly because of the service. The person serving/bartending there yesterday (Sunday) evening, it almost felt like they were trying to avoid eye contact with the customer lest the customer asks them to get something. I ordered 2 drinks and she refused to bring me my second drink, stating that she can only serve one drink per customer at a time which I found funny. But its still okay. However, she never came back and asked me if I wanted the second drink even after I finished my first drink. So we left after getting only a beer.

Amigos is our Go-to family pub & restaurant, whether it's their delicious breakfast, snacks, Lunch or dinner or just to hang out with friends. Don't miss their daily specials - my favorite is Saturdays' Half price Ribs & Wings, beyond delicious 😋 On Sunday, we had gone for breakfast, after mass, with quite a number of friends & we sat outside at the back. Though it was sunny, the tables had umbrellas to shade us. This is a great place for breakfast, very reasonably priced & the Breakfast Specials are available till 11:30am. Coffee too is great! Service is always excellent & the owner often comes around for a quick chat or two! In June, I had taken a friend from out of town here & he ordered Pilsner on the tap & the Saturday special which he couldn't finish by himself. He was so impressed with the decor & ambience, it reminded him of a restaurant & pub back home. What more can I say? Oh, they also have a lower level sit out during summer, so there's ample space inside & outside the restaurant to suit everyone's tastes! And the portions are great! Before the pandemic, they used to have Karaoke Thursdays, Hope they restart this. You can't go wrong with AMIGOS....satisfaction guaranteed 👌

We had dinner. Enjoyed a Cold beer with our meal. We stayed to watched the Hockey game, on their Big screen TV. Meet some Friends there. We saw the game together. The Maple Leafs won the game 5 to 2. It was a great night.

First time there breakfast was great will definitely go back for lunch and to see what the lunch menu has to offer. Our waitress was fantastic very friendly

Not sure if today was a bad day because some of the reviews look good so thought I would try it out... I ordered the eggs Benedict. It tasted rancid as if it it was old sauce. I am now drinking ginger ale for a queasy stomach. Sorry but I won't be a repeat customer.

After a visit at the zoo we went to Amigos for the lunch. Our 2 kids enjoyed their kids menu. The meals were fresh and delicious. I totally recommend this restaurant and will come back for sure.

My friends and I just drove up from Illinois and saw this spot so we decided to go in. When we stepped in no one acknowledged us, and then an older gentleman finally said you can sit anywhere. The food wasn't really good but the waitress was super nice. And it was a LOT of flying insects in that joint.

The restaurant was recommended to us by a neighbour who frequents Amigos regularly. Our neighbour did warn us that service can be quite slow. It was worse than that! The server tended to a patron immediately beside us THREE time and did not once stop to take our order. We were there for 40 minutes and then noticed the server was taking orders of others who just walked in. I walked over to her and asked “why have you not taken our order? You have been right there THREE TIMES!” All she said was “sorry”. I said “really though…why not?” She just said sorry. She didn’t even say “sorry. I can take it now”. Nope! She didn’t offer to take our order or give us ANY indication that our business would have been appreciated. I suppose it wasn’t. So disrespectful. So disappointing. I’ve never had such horrible “service” before. I’ll never set foot back in that place again. Unfortunately for them, my neighbour is so disappointed as well that she will no longer be returning, nor will her 4 friends who meet there. THAT made me very happy. They might not care that they didn’t gain my businesss but perhaps they will care when 5 of their regulars stop going (they did say they’ve noticed the level of service has decreased recently).

Went here for Friday night karaoke and it has very quickly become a regular go to spot. Burgers and wings are good, friends had the souvlaki and swear by it. Great vibes, great food, great service. Sammy,Tony and Sonia are great,very warm and welcoming even with a packed house. Sonia always remembers your drink order and has it ready when you arrive. Highly recommend and look forward to karaoke next Friday!!!

Had both breakfast and lunch at Amigos. The food is great, the burgers are excellent. Service is very good and friendly. Debbie, our waitress is very friendly and jovial. The owner is pleasant and takes time to say " hello" when he passes.

Chicken was a bit dry, but taste was good. We ordered fajitas for 2 but they gave us 5 tortillas, which is evil! The waitress was not welcoming and a bit rude. And they made us buy a drink with the wings, and it was 4 dollars for just a glass of coke.

Our men’s slow pitch team goes to Amigos almost every Friday after we play. I have to give a huge shout out to this place as I’m baffled by the amount of recent negative reviews on the service! We have a regular server, Sonia who has honestly become a part of our family. She knows all of our regular orders, is incredibly attentive, and just the best person to have a great conversation with! She works Wednesday - Friday in the evenings with the biggest smile on her face, I’m sure the people who experience negative service didn’t run into her! Amigos has a pretty big menu with a lot of options , you would think there’s no way things like the chicken souvlaki or the pasta, Primavera would be killer at a place like this…. Think Again! The food here is great with the wings being the best in town for size and flavor. The Amigos hot sauce is one of the most flavourful hot sauces I’ve tried. Don’t let some of these recent reviews discourage you from giving Amigos a try ! Let them know the Leftovers sent you :)

Stay away from the stir frys, but all the classic bar food is great. Service staff do a great job.

I've came here a few times with my family and the food is okay but tonight I had an unpleasant experience. The server was nice as usual however I had asked about the Spanish paella and had her ask the kitchen if they could make the dish not spicy. She had checked and the kitchen told her that yes they could do that so I went ahead and ordered it. She brought the dish out with my family's food and I could smell the spice but gave the benefit of the doubt and tried the food and instantly my tongue was burning, I let her know that I wasn't going to be able to eat the food and she brought it back to the kitchen. They told her they didn't use spice, just regular tomato sauce rather than owning up to the mistake they had made. I asked for a Ceasar salad instead and was disappointed once again as the bacon and croutons for the Salad were burnt, the lettuce looks as it was left overs (off cuts) from previous dishes with large chunks of the core mixed in. I likely will not be returning as this isn't the only unpleasant experience I've had here. It is a shame as this is one of the few spots I go to with my family for dinners. The server was nice and even took $1.50 (15%) off my meal as an apology for the mistake but I still think it's not worth my time to come back.

I had the chicken quesedilla, and the jalapeño poppers, and they were both delivered hot and crispy! I really enjoyed them. The quesedilla was quite thick.
