Once again delicious! I order takeout from here often and am more then happy to be a repeat customer. I love the variety of the menu, the quality of the food is nothing but 10/10 each time I order. Presentation and flavour are spot on. Staff are organized and friendly when I go in to receive my order. The online pickup order service is super easy to use and allows for a lot of customizable options. I am more then happy to support your business and keep up they amazing work !

Loved this place for a long time but a pound of wings is now equal to 6 wings???? And they were not a big six wings. Sad.

Nothing less than 5 Stars... Awesome Food, and the staff is really good. We had a change in mind after ordering drinks, instead of that being ready, they served us the new one and didn't charge for the previous one. Both dishes were really tasty and more than sufficient. I will definitely be visiting again when I am Bowmanville and have recommended it to my friends as well.

This is the best sports bar restaurant in the area. Great food and wonderful service. The staff are amazingly friendly and the food is really good. If you have attended or are interested in attending please press the like button. I usually attend with friends as it has a great family atmosphere. I usually order the wings and ribs and the other menu items are great too. When I last attended I had honey bbq wings and ribs. The wings were really good but the ribs were dry and didn't taste good. The atmosphere here was pretty good. They have karaoke some nights and it's just a fun place to hangout. My favorite drink was the Pinacolada it was so tasty I would order it again and again. It's hard to see the place but once you enter in it's amazing. By far the best thing at the restaurant was my server. She was quick, fun and friendly. I would definitely visit this place again. I really enjoyed this restaurant I hope you enjoy it too.

Great food, good friendly service. Would definitely eat here again 😊 UPDATE: While the eat in food here is great. Ordering take out...Not so Much! Paid over $80 for dinner for 2 of us tonight and was terribly disappointed. My husband ordered a salad with no onions or peppers and it came loaded with them, once he picked it all out, there wasn't much of a salad...hardly any greens. I ordered the coconut shrimp for $16 and perogies for $14...the shrimp were very sad and overcooked for the money and the perogies were very undercooked. Would not order takeout again 🙄

We ordered off of uber eats and food was pretty delicious ! Got the tacos, a sandwich, and a poutine. It was tasty and filling and I will be definitely trying this restaurant again when im in the area 😋

Went on a Monday for 1/2 price wings. I love wings and these were the best I’ve had in a REALLY long time. Cooked perfectly , good and crispy and really meaty. Ordered a pound of the honey hot which were the perfect mix of sweet and spicy but not too spicy. The wings were REALLY saucey which is my favourite. Also ordered a pound of the Parmesan and garlic with a side for dipping of their Mexican hot sauce. Just mind blowing. Can’t wait to return.

Staff here were amazing so friendly!! I would recommend this place to anyone it's a cozy, clean little bar even during Birthday parties.

I've been to frosty's many times, the food has either been a hit or miss with me, sometime it's very good other times I rather I just ate at home. If you're just looking for nice bar to go to and some decent food to eat I would recommend it but if your looking for a nice dining experience with fantastic food I would not recommend it.

Went with some friends for dinner to try something new. It took a while to get our drinks after they were ordered and the beer wasn't as cold as we expected. Our meals did not all come out at the same time and to boot 2 of the 4 meals were cold and had to be sent back. We received a bit of attitude from our server when we asked for hot meals. The food was good after having it remade but we won't be back.

Absolutely massive menu, huge portions, fair prices. Service was fast and accurate. The place was super busy but didn't feel crowded or understaffed. Found at least 30 things I wanted to try on the menu and all we did try was excellent. Their homemade dill dipping sauce was fantastic. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

Been here a couple times now. Burgers are great wings are great prices are great. Service is also great. Looking forward to try more things on menu. One comment is on the Irish nachos I got. The fries could be more well done so they hold up better to the sour cream and guacamole that's on the top or ill request dips on side next time i guess. Could be a preference thing but I prefer to avoid a fork on a dish I like to share.

UPDATE: 5/5 stars. Went here early Sunday afternoon yesterday and got half rack of ribs and fries. Both the ribs and the fries were the best I've ever tasted in my life! The ribs weren't fatty or greasy at all like at other restaurants. They had lots of meat on them and they were so tender. And the sauce was incredible! And their fries are sooo yummy! I love going here because everything on their menu is super delicious, big portions and reasonable prices! ORIGINAL REVIEW: 4/5 stars. Delicious food, large portions and fair prices. Atmosphere is good as long as it isn't packed. When it's busy, it gets super noisy. My only criticisms are that the kitchen isn't too accommodating with requested ingredient substitutions/changes due to diet restrictions, the hostesses always try to seat you in the bar area which is annoying, and overall the service is quite slow. But otherwise, it's a great place to go for quality food at a good price.

Had a great night out at this place with my girlfriend and friends. We ordered 3 pounds of wings, steaks , lamb dinner and nachos. Food was very good but the wings were amazing. We got the whiskey BBQ and sweet Thai Chilli. Best so far.

Frosty John's has always been a great experience. Every single dish I've tried has always been amazing. The prices are great and the staff are lovely. One of our favourite spots to go out for dinner!

Been a lot of places... was there tonight and had the beef tenderloin and honestly.. they nailed it. Perfectly cooked to order (medium rare ) juicy as could be... and quick like less than 10 minutes from order... We also ordered a chicken and mushroom dish that was fantastic! Lots of menu choices... highly recommend. Most certinally will return.

Went here for the first time as a group of 5 from out of town. Plenty of parking. Requested an outside table and was seated immediately. Menu is overwhelmingly huge in a good way, with an abundance to choose from. Service was extremely fast, and the server was very pleasant. Drinks came fast, as well as the appetizers, which were all a hit for us. We especially liked the Chicken Taquitos and the Jalapeño Shrimp. The fries here are AMAZING as well. Everyone ordered a different entree, and we all loved our order. I had the Jacks Double Smash Burger with onion rings. This place will definitely be our go too when in town!

Great wings every time. I suggest their Smoky BBQ flavour. I'm one for spice but I'll settle for the less spicy Smoky BBQ as the flavour is out of this world! Treated kindly by staff upon arrival. Definitely a must-go when you are in the area!

Amazing food. Service was amazing. Will totally recommend. Thanking the staff for their hospitality and recommendations for craft beer. My compliments to the chef. The butternut squash soup was perfect. The bbq chicken avocado sandwich was divine. My boyfriend ordered the salmon. That was delicious as well.

As a choice to stop and have a meal it would be one of those in a pinch places, it was great they had liver ( I know some people are saying yuck but the ones that like liver like it once in a while) they should at least know how to cook it if it's on the menu. ***UPDATE **** Fast forward friends we were with wanted to go for dinner at Frosty John's, I will say based on the last experience I was not looking forward to our visit. But sometimes you have to Grin and Bear it so I did. I thought I'll just order the wings, we'll good choice the wings where awesome (Meaty moist and large and well cooked) The best wings I've had in sometime would definitely highly recommend. The Waitress was also very good super friendly and attentive.

My experience here could have been much better had it not been for the waitress who seemed to be rushing us along before we even sat down. Never before have I been asked if I was ready for the bill so many times. We would have ordered more food and drink in this restaurant full of empty tables, but after the waitress repeatedly asked to bring the bill, we got the picture that we were not welcome. While the food and drinks were great, the management definitely needs to speak to the waitresses about their customer service.

My only complaint was that the menu was too big with too many excellent options to choose from!! The dishes that we did choose were excellent. Portions were great and the quality and flavour were above and beyond. I would recommend a visit to this pub any time you find yourself in the Bowmanville area as I did - even if you’re driving through on your way to somewhere else, I would absolutely suggest making the time to stop for an amazing meal. You won’t regret it.
