First time using Velofix and I had a great experience with Steve. The truck was organized, clean and well-stocked with Park tools. Steve was knowledgable, meticulous and friendly. He did not rush over any part of tuning and cleaning the bike and was more than happy to have a long conversation about bike maintenance - and all with the convenience of this all happening in my drive. All in all, a good experience.

I have an eBike, and I've encountered few issues with the bike and needed to get them fix soon. Never used a bike service before, so I did not know who to go to. After some google search and surfing through the reviews, I booked an appointment for a "go-to-you-bike-repair” service with another known bike shop via their website and to my disappointment, they did not confirm nor show up. As soon as that happen, I made an appointment with Velofix for Go-To-You service via their website. I was very please for the whole process. 1) The pricing was transparent at the booking, 2) It was easy to book, and confirmation emails were sent to me, 3) The mechanic was on time (Steve 5******), friendly and very professional, 4) Steve came with a truck full of the equipment needed, 5) Steve was able to identify and fixing the issues without adding additional cost to you, 6) Steve was also a perfectionist, he wanted to make sure my bike was in perfect condition to ride (or as close to perfect as possible) before he leaves. 7) Payment method was flexible, and easy :) (Thank you Karen for noticing my error), Overall, I will recommend Velofix Lakeshore and Beaches (Steve and Karen) for bike services to everyone!!! I wish I could give Velofix 10 stars... Stephen attended to my bike recently and I cannot overstate what a honest and hard working individual he is. He went above and beyond and absolutely shocked me with very reasonable pricing as well. This will be my permanent go-too for any future bike repairs.

Steve was and is courteous, knowledgeable, and more than competent. He has never tried to mislead us into repairs which are unnecessary. It has been my pleasure to have dealt personally with him.

I have a heavy electric cargo bike so when something goes wrong I can't just throw it in the car and bring it in. Steve has looked after it from repairs to general maintenance since I first got it in 2019 and always goes above and beyond. Just had a tuneup and it feels brand new again!

I have had my bike fixed 4 times now and every time has been great service. I really appreciate the convenience of the repair happening same day and door to door service. Stephen is always very helpful and informative and I definitely recommend him and velofix for your bike repairs!

He also stands by his work which puts me at ease. Add the convenience of home visits on top of that and it is a no brainer.

I had a bike repair emergency this morning and with good fortune caught a bike mechanic on a call. Nathaniel kindly fixed my front brake in less than two minutes and was super polite and kind. I will definitely call Velofix for my bike repairs in the future!

Steve is an absolute craftsman. He put some serious love into my Radrover 6+ brake repair, then went on to give the whole bike a solid inspection and tune up. Unfortunately, the brake was faulty and failed soon after. RadBikes replace it under warranty, and Steve offered to replace it free of charge citing under warranty on his own repair, which I really appreciated. He also did a solid bike build on my wife's Cannondale, and a great tune on my daughter's mountain bike. He even let us use his pressured air to fill 30 balloons for my son's birthday party. All this done from his mobile shop parked in front of my house on a cold autumn day. I am no longer servicing my bike anywhere else.

I love this service. They are always on time for appointments, really knowledgeable, and generous with their time to help you understand what service you can do yourself and what you need to call a professional for. We need more last mile services like this.

Amazing service. Always on time! And no more 2-3 days leaving the bicycle at the shop for repair. They come to you, (home, work, …) fix tour bike and give it back to you after 1-2 hours.

Steve was a pro at his craft, not only that but he gave me tips and answered all my questions. As a first time ebike owner I just got my bike about 2 months ago and I put it together myself. I signed up for major tuneup but Steve told me I only needed a basic tune-up, after looking over my bike. My bike now rides like a dream, all this plus my bike was done in an hour, where my local bike shop told me I had to drop it off for two weeks. He also arrived 10 mins early for my appointment. Definitely a great value.

I had Stephen build my new Rad ebike and he did an amazing job. After a few rides, the gears were not changing properly. I called and he came back and adjusted the gear issue and double checked everything. 100% top notch service... definitely the place to get your bike tuned, tweaked, built or repaired.

Other bike shops were giving me a 2 weeks wait, but Karen was able to fit me in an appointment with Stephen during his busy schedule and Stephen was able to true my rear wheel to racing spec! Stephen is very knowledgeable and shared some useful tips. I'd call them again. It's perfect that they come to your door, fix the bike right there, ana they interact with their customers. First appt with Velofix yesterday. I thought there were a bunch of things wrong with my bike. They took a look at it and suggested only one small thing was wrong - fixed that issue and now the bike runs amazing. Really nice to have the service come to my home so I don't have to leave my bike a the shop for days on end - and they didn't over charge me for service I didn't need. Highly recommend and I will 100% be using them again in the future. Also - the van works well for advertising!! several neighbours already commented that they saw it and what a great idea it was.

Had them out to my house to fix my bike while it was on the trainer. Steve was excellent. Fixed a bunch of things I identified and fixed a bunch of things I didn’t even know was wrong. He then help me adjust the bike for my height/preferences. I’m very glad I had them out as I’m enjoying my bike a lot more now. I highly recommend them and the price was very very fair!

Stephen helped me put together a new Canyon Grail after mine was wrecked in an accident and Canyon sold me a new frame as part of their crash replacement program. Stephen took all of the parts off of my existing frame and installed it on the new frame, kept me constantly updated with progress photos, and was overall a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely work with Stephen and Velofix again.
