The best place on Queens Quay when hungry and craving some delicious Italian food. Even though they pride themselves with their pizzas, their pastas are really good as well. Make reservations as they always get super busy. Try this place on a nice sunny day by dining on their patio on the waterfront

Pizza and pasta were great! I feel like the pizza was a bit too tomato for me and I wish it had more cheese (but that’s more of a preference). Also the pasta was great, but I feel like the chicken needed a bit more flavor. Other than that, everything was great! Server was nice, was quick to get a seat of patio. Will go again for a good view by harbourfront of the water.

Great restaurant with a great view with an even better Pizza. Fresh basil. Good sauce. Good dough. Good cheese makes a good margarita pizza. Only recommendation is I would put a pinch of salt or a pinch of cheese toss at the sweetness of the sauce. Looking forward to coming back and trying to feed a misu. Thanks for the information Mr jon

Did someone say Bottomless Mimosas every weekend?! Pie Bar offers Bottomless Mimosas on Saturdays and Sundays 12 pm to 4 pm. We enjoyed their Grapefruit Mimosas along with amazing Italian Fare, Truffle Arancinis, Classic Margherita Bucatini Di Tartufo pasta And ended the night on a delicious Tiramisu! The vibes of this place are immaculate and the food is crafted to perfection! Check out @piebarto this weekend! Pie Bar 📍207 Queens Quay W,Toronto

Lovely place! The setting and decor is lovely. We were seated by the window and had a great view of the boats. The staff was helpful and attentive and service was quick. The cocktails were well made and well presented. I ordered the angry bee pizza and I really liked it. They also offer gluten free options!

I had the truffle mushroom pizza and the chicken pesto -- they were both great! The dough was nice and chewy, not too dry or too soggy. We also ordered some non-alcoholic drinks (the non-mojito and Bellini), which were both pretty good. We sat on the lovely patio overlooking the waterfront and the servers were kind. The price is reasonable for the location and food, but note that they do get very busy so try to grab a reservation!

We sat in the patio and enjoyed the harbourfront view. Pizza pies were delicious, you can easily share their “personal” pie. We did 3 pies and a salad and were stuffed. The white sangria was very good and refreshing!

Excellent sangria, great food, and at Harbourfront, you can't ask for a better water view in Toronto especially if you are sitting out in the patio. It's pricey for the food, but the view and the vibe makes up for it. One of the chill places to eat and chat on the Harbourfront.

Great food and atmosphere! I had the pepperoni pizza, the Hawaiian pizza and the tiramisu. Pizzas were large with a thin crust which I really appreciated. The tiramisu was amazing! Prices are expensive but standard for downtown Toronto on the waterfront.

Try out their Tiramisu desert to top it up your experience They have Wonderful seating arrangements both Indoor and Outdoor that are graciously made enjoyable with a wonderful staff.

Overall a 3.5 restaurant. The pizza that they said they were known for - which set the expectation on the high end for me - was just average despite their fancy descriptions and whatever we ordered that was a $26 pizza tasted alright and not as crunchy as I thought and didn't have any unique taste to it. It used boar bacon which tastes just like any regular bacon to me but it could be I don't have refined palettes to tell them apart. The pesto calamari was a surprise in a sense I thought it was grilled with pesto on top but as it turned out it was fried and I couldn't tell what was pesto about it but I could have misunderstood what it meant. The calamari was pretty good, it was lightly breaded and had just the right crunch with very tender calamari inside. I find $21 to be on the pricy side for it but can see myself not mind ordering this again. The drinks were a bit disappointing to me. I got the "honeymoon in Sicily" - the gin was overpowered by whatever pop and artificial juice they might have mixed it with. Again the description on the menu was a lot better than how it turned out. The service was ok, no complaints but also no highlights, within expectations of a casual joint. The lake view at the patio was definitely better than patios with no water view, however compare to all the patios with a view this is also just alright. Overall an ok restaurant, wouldn't mind dining there again at all but wouldn't be actively recommending people to go.

Overall, this place was pretty good: Decent food and nice view of the harbourfront. Although this place is a pizza-specialty place, our group found the pastas to be gourmet and pizza just okay. Quantity was satisfying as well, but the main thing that brought from 5 stars to 4 would be the service. No one was rude or anything, but it was pretty slow overall, and the server would hardly come by unless you explicitly raise your hand to signal. Slightly disappointing in that aspect. All in all, I would go again if I go downtown.

I absolutely love their food, was just there today for the second time at this restaurant, everything tasted delicious and fresh even though I’m not Italian but I felt the food there is authentic Italian! Highly recommend it. Well done 👍

A really nice restaurant with a giant patio next to the Lakeshore. Service was a bit slow but they were quite busy on a weekday night. Their pizza was thin and flavorful, the angry bee had just enough spicy kick for me and I loved every bite. Reasonable prices for downtown as well.

One of the best Tartufo Pizza I’be tried in Toronto! It’s so creamy and flavorful, bursting with umami and truffle flavor! The dough is thin yet chewy and crunchy at the same time. I also love the Burrata and Heirloom Tomato salad with balsamic reduction! The burrata is so creamy inside. This dish is so delightful and refreshing! Perfect palate cleanser for the heaviness of the pizza and the Lobster Ravioli. We’ll be back again when we crave for pizza! Definitely one of the best pizza places in Toronto with an amazing view.

Had a blast doing the pizza making class. Got to make and eat a pizza, and take home sauce and dough for a second one. Friendly staff and a fun night!

The atmosphere os really nice, and you get a great view from the lake. The place is also clean and nicely decorated. The service was good, we visited when it was empty and the server was nice. I got the truffle pizza and calamri. The pizza tasted ok, it wasn’t AMAZING but it tasted nice and the flavor was good. Calamari was not good at all, it was very dry and old, it didn’t taste fresh and it was served with a hot tomato sauce, which didn’t go well with the calamari, it was also really chewy. Their wine selection is ok, and they have a good menu for drinks. Overall a good experience

Visited this spot last-minute with a friend and it was a pleasant surprise! Classic options like pizza, pasta, salad, and calamari. Everything met our expectations, especially the truffle mushroom pizza . Plus, that lakeside patio view is a bonus! recommend.

The host was sweet n nice, Our waitress made sure we had everything we needed checked on us. We had a great view by the water. The food was good but not great for the price. Calamari could have been cooked a Lil longer. But the mushrooms n Truffle sauce was really good. Pizza was mid n had to many big slices of onions. Next time I'm gone say no onions. The margarita i didnt enjoy the spice overpowered the drink. Overall it's a great place to eat.

Summary: 6.7/10 Better than average but the location carries lots of weight. Food: 6.5/10 The pizza certainly wasn’t bad and looked great, the taste was overall decent but nothing to write home about. Pepperoni was in good quantity, tasted decent and the drinks were enjoyable. Where flavour was slightly lacking in my opinion was the dough which lacked some richness and gave a mild blandness to the pie, but this isn’t to knock the place, it’s most definitely okay and I may even go back if i’m in the area. Place: ?/10 The location is stunning and the views phenomenal, but like some other reviews mentioned, cleanliness and seating were questionable for such a nice area. Hopefully this is something that is fixed because the vibes alone could really help this place!

The food was delicious and the place was very nice, with a beautiful view. Everything was wonderful except that the waiter didn't bring us our check for a while. He took out empty plates, and refilled our water but didn't ask if we needed anything or if we were ready for our check. It wasn't busy and we could see him standing around inside. We ended up flagging him down after a while of waiting. I'm sure this was a fluke and it's usually fine. Again, the food was incredible. I highly recommend this place.

Great food overall. We ordered lobster ravioli and linguine chicken alfredo but the chicken was sold out. Instead we ordered then bucatini di tartufo (mushroom pasta). Both of them were delicious. The staff were very busy but still friendly

Joanna and Alina's attentiveness and professionalism were truly top-notch. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining partner and I had a fantastic time. Right from the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcomed and valued. Speaking of the food, it was nothing short of amazing! Every dish we ordered was prepared to perfection and brimming with flavor. It's clear that the culinary team at Pie Bar takes great pride in their craft, and it certainly shows in the quality of their dishes.

Dropped in here after a boat tour around noon on a Saturday. We ordered drinks and the waitress was so friendly, she offered to take pictures for us. The salad with farro was tasty, although it could have used a little bit more cheese. Both the truffle pizza and the truffle bucatini were delicious. We were licking our fingers and scraping the last of the sauce off the bottom of the bowl. Prices are fairly standard. Great location, great view and great service.

Came here during lunchtime on a Friday. They are dog friendly which is nice! Have a pretty simplistic menu which is good for my indecisive friends but not good if you want variety. Basically choose between pizza and pasta. I’d say the food is pretty decent but portion size could be a bit bigger for what you’re paying for. The service was also a bit slow in my opinion as it seemed like there was only 1 server for the entire patio with the hostess helping a bit. I wouldn’t recommend coming if you are super hungry and need a quick bite.

If I could could give negative stars I would. The service was horrendous and the food even worse. We were seated by a lovely girl from Colombia and that’s where the experience ended. David was our server - David clearly hates serving - he has the personality of a wet mop and acted as though we were interrupting his day. I ordered a draft Peroni to start and my friend ordered a long espresso - when he looked confused she said an Americano - even more confusion - keep in mind this place is supposedly Italian, and my friend is Italian so very clear on her order. A glass full of dirty brown water, the color of weak tea arrived and when she asked what that was, David was completely perplexed. She suggested a double espresso instead and he managed that - still no Peroni though. The restaurant was relatively empty so service should be exceptional. The hostess made a bad move by seating a couple with 2 young children right next to us - two middle aged women don’t want to sit next to children being incessantly scolded and whining. The ambiance was now ruined and the menu wasn’t looking great as food was being delivered and returned so we decided on Parmesan fries and olives to start to see where things would go - Still no Peroni! David actually said “that’s it?” With a sneer when we ordered starters and took the menus. I guess that was it! See the attached photo of the $12 fries - served old & cold and a tiny pan of warm $8 olives with 2 thin slices of dried out baguette. The Peroni eventually arrived- Yay! I beckoned David over to let him know the fries were cold and and the portion was an embarrassment - there were more dips than fries! We also pointed out the cloth napkin was covered in someone else’s lipstick. We had a sigh and eye roll and him asking what we wanted him him do … seriously. No apology, no offering of hot fries or an alternate dish. He took the fries while mumbling to who I am guessing was a manager (hiding in the corner of the restaurant on her laptop) to have them removed from the bill. David never came back to our table again. Eventually I flagged him down for the bill which seemed to be a total inconvenience for him. This young man should not be working in hospitality and I’d question what’s happening in the kitchen. The table behind us sent back horrible looking pale calamari. The restaurant is in a prime spot for summer traffic but they take zero pride in service or food quality - i do not recommend going here. The owners and management really need to assess their staff and offerings - great location on the water (and they own most of the restaurants in the building on ground level) but they need serious improvements.

We had a wonderful Girls Night out at Pie Bar last night. The food was very good as was the service. Special shout out to our waitstaff Tammy who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the menu items.

Came for happy hour, the calamari and meat ball were 5 stars! However their signature pizzas weren't that tasty for us. The mushroom pizza had zero flavour, and pepperoni pizza was only a bit better 😂 truffle acacini was a 4 star. Sangrias were good 👍🏻

Lovely restaurant right on the Harbourfront! We got the classic Margherita pizza, Rigatoni Walnut Bolognese pasta and the Goat Cheese dip, everything was prepared hot & fresh and tasted great. Definitely try to get a seat by the windows or the outdoor patio (weather permitting), the view of the Harbourfront is great! The staff were also very attentive and the service was quick.

View is wonderful, environment is nice and quiet(compare to the city), food is tasty. It’s a generic pizza and pasta restaurant with good views. Nothing to complain but also not much to admire. Price is reasonable for the view.

Best lakefront patio in Toronto I think. We ordered charcuterie board, calamari, spaghetti & meatballs, seafood aglio e olio and a margherita pie...all made to perfection!

  • 5/5 Emily L. 2 years ago on Google
Went here today at lunch, first time. Was not too busy either and very good sanitary measures. They have a bunch of gluten free and vegan options which was very nice. I just got a simple marinara sauce pasta with gluten free noodles. However, I found the sauce to be a bit sour and the pasta to be a bit over al dente. I also ordered the italian french fries, and it was pretty tasty. The server substitued the parmesan for vegan cheese, which was good. However, i found them to have a bit too much rosemary for my liking. Nonetheless, I still had a nice lunch, but the food was also kinda pricey. It was $95 for 3 people (tip included), and I didn't think it should have costed that much considering the food was alright. However, I am giving this a 5 star review because the server was really nice and helpful! She accommodated all my allergy needs, and was a nice person! They also have pizza. I didn't try that, but it looks good. So if you're in the area, yeah you could check it out if you want!

Pie bar was great. We ordered the Tuscan Fries for appetizer, and had the Chicken Cacciatore and godfather pizzas. All was delicious and our waiter Max was professional and quick. A bit pricey but the portions were large and the view overlooking the harbourfront from the patio was great!

The good is really tasty I really like the fries and pasta. they have recently changed their menu so the only “white sauce” pasta the have is chicken alfredo. they used to have carbonara, other with mushrooms :( I was very sad for this. excellent service. 4 starts because they took too long that brought our appetizers together with the main (at least they gave us the arancini for free) and also because they have changed the menu and don’t have different creamy pasta options.

  • 3/5 Joanne D. 1 year ago on Google
3.5 if I could. The location is fabulous and staff friendly. The reason for the 3.5 star is that the food is okay. I've had much better GF pasta and my friend said his meat pizza is too salty but the mushroom pizza is very good.

  • 4/5 Brayden S. 1 year ago on Google
Great place, very speedy and friendly service. A tad over priced for the pizza, but it was good quality. That’s just a personal opinion though. Definitely worth a stop by and nice view of the lake!

  • 2/5 Nishi c. 10 months ago on Google
Let’s start with what I ordered: - Tuscan Fries - Arancini Let’s start with the worst part first : I’m a vegetarian and we found a small piece of chicken in my Tuscan Fries ❌❌❌which is totally unacceptable and the whole experience went from a 10/10 to 0. We immediately informed the waiter and he replaced the dish for us. But once an experience like that makes you question the chaos in the kitchen. The Truffle Arancini were yummy 🤤, very creamy and flavorful. So I visited Pie Bar for the very first time and the vibe on a weekend is a bit chaotic but enjoyable too. The view is great. The drinks are okay. Am I going there again? I don’t think so.

After reading the reviews on this place I was a bit skeptical of bringing my friends here, but honestly very few reviews insult their food, its mostly the service. When our group arrived, from start to finish the service was exceptional! We originally had a table outside, but then a swarm of fruit flies made the experience hellish, and the staff were more than willing to switch tables for us. We didn't want to be "that" table, but once again, our first indoor table was inadequate (no fault on their part, but the customers near us were being very loud/obnoxious and we wanted a calm dining experience) so we requested to switch tables and again they accommodated. This restauraunt can be accessed directly from the harbourfront, from the outside near the lake, and as well as inside the harbourfront plaza. Our final seats were near the harbourfront plaza area which was a great treat since we found out they had a gelato station! The Italian Food options here were exceptional. Our group had tried the pizza, a few different pasta, charcuterie board and another pizza and everything was fantastic, well seasoned and spicy (the right amount). Their cocktails were fresh with a decent amount of alcohol and for dessert, although the gelato was tasty, the tiramisu was the star of the show. The place is quite large and can accommodate large groups, and if you happen to sit by the waterfront, the views are great, especially at night.

Pizza and cocktails was yummy. Their patio location is perfect. Service was very average. The girl who took our order only came back for the bill and still was pushy for the tip. The guy who served us food was going table to table with our food in his hands and asking everyone ‘is the order yours?’ He seemed a little lost. But overall it was a good experience.

  • 3/5 Diana S. 10 months ago on Google
The food was really good and nice views of cn tower and the lake, however, for the price of the food and drinks you would expect more from the service and the drinks, there was a line of people waiting for empty table in the restaurant, and took them around 40 minutes to bring us the bill and we had to request it twice. The alcohol drinks were with to much water and ice. Food is amazing tho

Quality : 8/10 Quantity : 6/10 Service : 5/10 View : 10/10 I would come back just for the view of the harbor. Food was good, no complaints. Service could have been better. We were waiting for someone to approach us so we could ask any questions we had but it was hard to get a waiter to our table. We were only asked once if we needed anything when we were almost done with our food.

  • 3/5 Lu M. 10 months ago on Google
Great location obviously but as a restaurant, I am judging based on its food and it is underwhelming. Agree with some of the other reviews here that you are not getting the quality or quantity of food that you are paying for. I probably wouldn't return anytime soon.

  • 5/5 Jessica T. 10 months ago on Google
Was here on a beautiful day sitting out on the terrace, and was really happy with the pizza until we got the pasta. It tasted slightly sour and fishy, so my friend decided to leave it aside. Our server was kind enough to take it away and remove it from our bill, showing great empathy. Overall, this place seems to be recognized for the pizza so I would recommend it for that, plus the great view and service.

Pie Bar is in a great location, right by the waterfront. My friends and I were looking to take advantage of the amazing weather last week and enjoy a picnic by the water. Since it was Ritual Food Fest, we were browsing the application and saw that Pie Bar had some deals. Pizza seemed like a safe choice for a picnic, so we each ordered a pizza and walked over. The pizza took a little while to get ready, probably 25-30 mins from when we ordered, which was okay. The pickup was smooth and the restaurant didn't seem slammed on a Wednesday night. I think my qualm with this place is the price for what you're getting. I ordered the pepperoni pizza for $21 (less $4 discount). It's really not a large pizza and there isn't anything special about the taste or texture. Of course I've had worse pizza, but for $21 I'd expect something special since I'd rather spend $17 at Pi Co or something similar. They do have a happy hour from 3-6, where the pies are a bit more reasonably priced ($12). I wish we had done that instead. Also not their fault, but the pizza and box was too light and my last slice flew away in the wind! Lakefront picnickers beware!
