Very very beautiful here. It's like a vacation destination. Many shops and restaurants within the resort. There is so many fun activities to engage in including giant trampoline for kids and Adults as well as the Gondola ride. Visitors are able to safely park their cars within the huge parking lot available and can proceed to the visitor information centre nearby. It's a very beautiful spot in fall and spring to take photos since the trees would bloom.

Visited Blue Mountain Village during the Christmas season, and it was truly awesome! The festive decorations create a magical Christmas wonderland. Don't miss exploring the charming stores, and if you're into skiing, it's a perfect spot. Plenty of restaurants and bars for hanging out, and the free parking adds to the convenience. Access to the Christmas village is also free – a delightful experience for the holiday season!

I love this place and visit it regularly several times a year. There's always something for everyone here. In winter I love looking at Christmas lights. This year the whole village sparkled with colorful lights. The only negative is the lack of parking. Although there are many parking places around, due to the large number of people there are not enough spaces. It’s nice that almost all cafes and restaurants were open on weekends.

I've visited Blue Mountain Village multiple times. Every time in summer. A lot of infrastructure changes are happening recently. It's very hard to park your car on weekend, all the free parking spaces are full in summer, specially on weekend & public holidays. You need to go there early. You can just explore the village by walk. Or you can spend money & enjoy other fun activities like Gondola riding, climbing, sports activities, boat riding, hiking etc. There are lots of food shops & some clothing stores, hotels, free public restrooms available. Ice skating & other fun activities are also held in winter time. Although it's quite tough to drive a long way to go there, you will have an enjoyable time there.

Blue Mountain Village provided an exhilarating and diverse experience that left me thrilled throughout my stay. From invigorating hikes with stunning vistas to the adrenaline rush of trampolines and roller coasters, every moment was packed with excitement. The gondola rides offered a unique perspective of the breathtaking landscapes. In the evenings, the vibrant atmosphere came alive with salsaπŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί dancing, adding a touch of passion to the festivities. To top it all off, the delectable food options in the village satisfied my taste buds, making it an all-around unforgettable adventure.πŸƒβ™₯️

The Mosiac was an amazing experience. Harman at the front desk made our holiday!!! The staff and services were perfect. The pool was clean and other areas well kept. The front desk was very helpful and resolved issues quickly. The weather was good too which added to the fun in the village..all food and vendors were terrific.. The bands were excellent every time we were present. Fun big crowds. I would give it 10 Stars!!!

It was so magical. I felt like being here was unreal. Perfect place to visit during December. So many activities to do, restaurants and shops to see. I was so busy walking around I didn’t even mind how cold it was. I’ll come back for sure!

Beautiful place. I gave 2 less stars because by 8 pm all attractions and most snack places are closed...nothing to do after that time! Certain attractions could stay open past dark like mini golf and certain snack bars like Starbucks should stay open till midnight. The restaurant options were not great they don't have air conditioning and some stop serving food at 8 pm. The day passes are only good for a single day and it would be great if you could use them until you have checked off all the activities once! Overall, I love this place!

Depending on where you are coming from, it's a far drive but it isn't too bad. Different times of the year they have different things. In November there isn't much to do as there are no big set of lights and no snow for skiing. But it's a nice places just to walk around and experience.

This place used to be amazing , and now they made it so commercialized . We used to drive up and can walk around take pics and relax , now they want $35 day pass , even to stand on the deck. Its was super packed and parking is always the issue , every place is a crazy line up. Vibe is good of the area but village people got greedy thats all .

Lovely ski resort with lots of restaurants and activities. Always quite busy and can be difficult to find parking. In winter it is beautiful. My favourite place here is northern brewery and the ice cream place. Great place for kids as well.

Lovely place, quite busy though. If you don't like crowded places, I would recommend a different place. We loved the atmosphere near the main square, you can enjoy music and people dancing. Good vibes all over the place. There are a lot of places/bars/restaurants with delicious food and drinks. The prices are normal. There are a lot of shops if you need to buy winter clothes or souvenirs. Perfect place for a winter / weekend getaway.

Thoroughly enjoyed the whole time there. Free day parking is one of the highlights and there is enough parking as well which is quite nearby. I was there in Summer and took an all evening pass and enjoyed it a lot. But too crowded as it was a weekend. If you want to enjoy all the events I recommend you to plan your trip during a weekday. I bet kids will have a blast. I liked the Ganola ride to the top.

This small town in its own glory is a great weekend getaway. My family had lots of fun. Only thing I’ll add is, we came a bit late (around 6ish evening) and so buying the all day pass would have been useless. It would make more sense to come early afternoon, buy the all day pass and spend the day here. There was ample parking, we parked in p2 which is a small walk from the main area.

This place is so beautiful. It is perfect for the whole family or a group of friends. While it is best to go there in winter, it is also fun to go there in other seasons. It can get so crowded so it's better to book in advance. Go early if you are staying for a day.

Highly recommended for the scenic views & beauty. Lots of activities & adventures. Good options for shopping & eating out. Lots of options for everyone for activities. Ample parking & great fun for families & visitors to enjoy. Would suggest to get the tickets for the adventures online prior to avoid crowds & disappointment. Plan your activities for the entire day or stay at the lodges (property) for more fun for family.

Nice fun place for beginners to learn and enjoy skiing 🎿. Even if you are not drawn for the winter sports, there are a ton of other activities to do including seeing the amazing night lights in the Village area. Nothing like a hot chocolate with live music!

Gorgeous back drop of the mountains in the summer it comes alive with performers and lots of food/drink options. The band playing on the floating stage was a fantastic surprise! There are rides up the mountain and a coaster for thrill seekers. Lots of shopping as well, chocolate shop and a kids store. Very cute! Friendly staff. Can't wait for our next visit.

Lovely place to visit and for winter activities like snow tubing, lifting, skating. The one we had tried is roller coaster and there was a waiting of 1 hr. But still we tried and in initial its was like boring but when it actually started its was so fun. There are ample parking available. Different cuisine restaurants are offering good food.

It was a awesome day trip to blue mountain village. Lots of fun activities for kids and adults as well as beautiful shops and restaurants!! The gondola ride is one of the attractions which is never to be missed. The view during the gondola ride is breathtaking!! There are lot of trails which can be explored once you go up. Tickets need to be purchased for activities. Highly recommend if you are looking for a day trip from GTA area!!

Great place to enjoy a full day. Ride the ski lift to the top for great views or the zip line and couple other rides for the kids. Free concerts with movies at night on big screen during summer on weekends. Oh I also remember mountain biking down the hills. Lots to do and after all the fun a nice meal or a cold beer at one of the many establishments

Blue Mountain is one of the most adventurous trip due to lots of gaming activities included in single pass. This is best to explore during summers and winters. Ropeway car was awesome experience. The view from the top was mesmerizing. Mini golf was super cool to play with entire family members. This place will give you Europe vibes due to it architecture and vibrant colors hotels. Foods and icecreams was available at muliple places. Highly Recommend this place.

Having always visited in the winter this was such a great summer experience. We rented a condo across the street but walked into the village daily. The food options were plentiful, the activities available amazing from swimming, biking, golf, shopping, and taking the gondola up the mountain to hike around. The axe throwing was fun, the nightlife was great too with dancing and late night bar options. A close drive away are the scenic caves and the Scandinavian Spa which I would also recommend. We will definitely be back both seasons now

Most vacation-worthy place within Ontario. Year round entertainment and nice cozy hotels (house/suites). Best time to visit is around Christmas in my opinion, you can dine, ski, drink and stay for your in province vacation.

I very much enjoyed staying here. There was so many fun activities for me and my family to do well staying there, and the seasons at blue hotel was very comfortable to stay at. My only complaint is how low staffed just about everywhere was, I could see how much the few staff members were struggling to keep everyone in check and get everything done fast. Very nice place overall.

Loved it. There's a lot to do for everyone. Parking can be a hassle to find but most of the big parking spaces are free of charge so you have to keep looking. In terms of ambience and vibe, it's pretty similar to Mt Tremblant in Quebec.

A beautiful combination of fun and scenery. Lots of restaurants and cafès to warm yourself. And if your heart is a little bit cold, you can have some frozen yogurt. Regardless of the season, this place is fun to visit. It is kid friendly. If you don't know how to ski, there's a beginner's lesson offered. Be warned, there may not be an available free parking since it's always crowded. You can opt for the paid parking, which is $3 per hour. At night, you can enjoy the lights displays and the falling snow will make a great contrast to which you can take a nice picture as a background. They also have family friendly washrooms, so you can change your kid's diapers. Truly enjoyed this place.

Stayed right in the park and the rooms were very spacious. The cleaners, the maintenance workers, the front end workers and managers were all nice and friendly. Something that many places are now lacking.

I visited Blue Mountain Village during the winter and it was a wonderful experience. The village is nestled between the scenic Blue Mountains and the Georgian Bay, offering a variety of activities, shops, restaurants, and events. Even though I didn't do the skiing, I enjoyed walking around the cobblestoned pedestrian village, admiring the architecture and the festive decorations. The village has a cozy and charming atmosphere, with friendly staff and locals. I also tried some of the local cuisine, which was delicious and satisfying. I would highly recommend Blue Mountain Village to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Ontario.

This place is so beautiful. It's like a carnival but not a carnival. What I like most about the place is the center plaza where music performances happen, it's such a lively place. You can come here for adventure sports, Christmas shopping, dine-in, roam around the streets and do adventure rides. Parking is always an issue at this place. You may have to wait for someone to take out their car before you can find a spot.

Blue Mountain is a destination that can be enjoyed in any season, at any time of the year. I've had the pleasure of visiting with my family to celebrate my birthday twice. It offers a beautiful village atmosphere, excellent restaurants, a vibrant club scene, or the simple pleasure of strolling and relaxing.

Down pours didn't dampen our spirits....we made the best of our visit. Wishing the wait staff from Wild Wings a speedy recovery πŸ™πŸ½ he became ill while we were in the restaurant. The kitchen staff and other server were kind and friendly. Thx for the lighter lol...

This was my second visit to the Blue Mountains and it was the amazing experience that I had in this summer. There were so many amazing activities and views from the top of the mountain. Really enjoyed and wanted to go back again soon.

A great family destination! We got the Explore all day and my kids had a blast. We will surely add Blue Mountain to our regular places to visit.

It was my first time here and I could tell how amazing it would be in the winter months. Looked like there could be some great skiing and the surrounding buildings made it look very inviting. You could take a lift to the top to explore, there was a great looking mini golf course.its if business and places to get a hot drink or treats from a chocolate specialty shop or a great little candy store. I would love to get back some winter and perhaps ski Blue Mountain myself.

Planned a visit over a Sunday afternoon in October. Live bands, picked apples, characters dressed up for pictures and lots of hula hoops for everyone to tryout. The candy shop is really great with tons of different flavors and types. Probably one of the more exciting things for people with a sweet tooth Gondola rides are great, you can do them as many times as you'd like in a say. Probably shuts down at 5 p.m. though. Be prepared to wait in long restroom queues on a busy holiday. Free Public parking is ample if you get there early, else you always have an option to pay and park. Again all of this is subject to the crowd and events. Overall a good day out to experience beautiful fall colors.

It was a really nice relaxing place unfortunately when we visited the place it was 30 degrees and without to much shade to take cover it was a disaster. Other than that the place atmosphere was really good one thing I highly recommend and can’t stress enough is that book everything you want to go and experience in advance because by the time you get there everything is booked and for every ride you have to get a ticked, if you want to have memorable experience get the tickets before you get there. There was an arcade over there too but don’t waste your time in there

Outstanding place to visit on weekend and have a night stay at blue mountain hotels there. Had a great time with friends in all the activities if it’s ridge runner or zipline and amazing fireworks at night near the pond. Thumbs up for this one.

It was a good experience I'm Blue Mountain Village. Lots of activities to do. I reached but late so I would suggest everyone to reach here bit early to enjoy all the activities. They have a lots of activities, so would recommend to get a all day pass. I did not stay here as lives hardly 3 hours from here but I will try to stay next time. The night embience seems great here which I could not experience.

This is it! 🀩 This is how I imagine tourism in practice. Despite the fact that Blue Mountains are not high and the water in Georgian Bay is not warm, they used all the advantages of nature and built a beautiful picturesque village, water park, ridge runner and many more other attractions, so that people have a reason to come here. There is a great "alpine" atmosphere, a lot of things to do and experience, but also restaurants, cafes, shops, and year-round events. It's great that they still have a lot of space to expand and continue what they started with. The biggest plus is the pedestrian zone, which is not typical for Canadian cities.

  • 5/5 Matt D. 1 year ago on Google
If you've been to the village you should generally know what to expect. It's a tourist location so prices are inflated in most places as seems to be tradition. That said, the stores are wonderful and the restaurants are the best version of each if they're a chain. Wild Wing comes to mind since I've had them before and they were okay, but in the village everything is on point and great. Everywhere we went could accommodate a stroller for our baby as well which was nice. If you're looking for something out of the box in the area check out Pepper Palace. The owner is quite a character and has samples of all his sauces and mixtures. Try the Nasal Napalm horseradish if you go.

In all the years I’ve lived in Ontario, I had never been here but had heard such good things. Finally made it there and was not disappointed! It was a bit cold but still packed with people. I’d say that most visitors were of the non-skiers type; we fit right in… The village is set up very much like a European mountain village - beautiful architecture. The small streets are lined with shops, condos, hotels, spas, and restaurants. Almost all restaurants had large patios which would be awesome in warmer weather. As is the case on weekends, there was a lot happening in the main square; a small petting zoo, a DJ, and a band! We found it neat that you can also take a horse drawn carriage ride through the village for a different perspective. There were, of course, a lot of skiers and snowboarders taking advantage of the 17 out of 43 open trails. We ate at the Northwinds Restaurant which was delicious.

Beautiful place. There are restaurants, clothing stores, cosmetic stores, chocolate shops, Christmas parades, fireworks on weekends. Last Saturday SANTA WAS THERE!!! PARKING FREE!!!. But, if you want a warm beverage you have to wait in a long line at Starbucks πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ. Why isn't there at least one Timmies?

My husband and I were so excited to take our (2) kids. We were all thrilled to go on that Rollercoaster ride there until we realized you have to buy a $72/each day pass that allows you to go on all the rides. The thing is, we're not made of money, and we only wanted to go on that one ride. It was going to cost us like $300+ to go on rides. We ended up paying $120 ish to go on 1 ride, which is the paddle boat thing, and sorry to say, it wasn't worth it. I wish they were in the day, where you pay for the rides you want to go on. But the day we went, it was Yeti Con, and it was cool to see everyone dressed up. Also, the woman at the candy shop is amazing!! Can't wait to see her again 😊
