The venu is so small. I attended a work holiday party at this venue and when I went to order a drink (an old fashioned cocktail) they charged me $25 which is completely outrageous. The bartender told me that they added gratuity after he made me the drink! They did not have coat check and the food was really too spicy. They barely had any health options, so many carbs and too many fried food options. I would not recommend to my friends. It is too much money on overpriced items when the venue doesn't measure up to the cost. I consider this place highly disappointing.

If you arent sure what drink to order, get the "Surprise Me"! I asked for a "Smokey Bourbon" drink and got a really nice drink (old fashioned with laphroaig and bourbon and stuff). My wife loved her cocktail off the menu, though. The food from the snacks menu is surprisingly small, but really good. Very chill, almost sexy/luxurious atmosphere. Comfortable and cozy as well. Will go again.

Wow what a nice little hidden gem. It only seats about 40 and they don't take reservations, but the staff is amazingly friendly with great service. What's more is the crowd was incredibly welcoming. For such a small place, the patrons were not territorial and everyone was happy to make sure people had a place to sit. All in all, trendy place that attracts good people.

I loved this place from the moment I walked in. Visually the space is gorgeous, the bartender greeted me warmly and explained the amazing drink options. He can make anything! Seating is comfortable, music great, and bathrooms were lovely! Bar Batavia has done this right. Thank you.

Went here a little while back and it was very cool vibes. The drinks were very fun and creative and the staff were really friendly. I’d definitely go back.

It's hidden on the second floor of Little Sister, they are the same owner. The decor was vintage, feels like a private lounge, and only opens on Fridays and Saturdays. The place wasn't noisy at all, good for intimate conversations and makes you just want to chill. If you are looking for a secret cozy spot around Yonge-Eglinton, this is the place. Great atmosphere, service, and drinks. Especially cool how they'll create a drink for you based on you selecting a type of alcohol, flavour profile (e.g. spicy, sweet, dry, sour, etc), and really any other inputs you want to give.

Cool little place which is really an overflow for the Little Sister restaurant downstairs. The cocktails are pretty good tasting but for that price, I expected a little more flair like a nice one piece clear ice cube. No draft beer is a quite disappointing but at least their own brew in a can is not bad. Service is not bad but could be better without the continuous asking if you want to order food, fine to ask for drinks but keep asking for food in a bar?! It gets irritating fast. Not a bad experience overall, but not something I would do again nor recommend to anyone.

Cannot recommend enough! My husband and I hosted our reception here and it was fantastic! Great food, great drinks, amazing staff. Jennifer was wonderful to work with from start to finish. If you're considering hosting an event here DO IT.

This place is incredible. The bartender is amazing and makes the best drinks you'll ever have in your life, kudos to him. The food is incredible. All around an amazing place. Celbrated my 32nd bday here and I have absolutely no regrets. Keep up the good work bar batavia

I am not sure why, I just love this place...Had a boring and uninspired dinner at PIANO PIANO around the corner and wandered up to this place. Should have absolutely come here for dinner or apps...just a cool, small space, great cocktails, unpretentious and a great vibe...I cant wait to go back and eat, maybe at Little Sister downstairs but you can get alot of that food upstairs at this bar too...keep up the good work guys, great spot.

Can’t say anything about the actual food or drinks. Sat there for 20 mins without any service. Safe to say we left.

Awesome atmosphere and great cocktails. I will definitely be back.
