This dog park is great! I've never had any issues with other dogs or owners. There is so much space for the dogs to run and play with two separate sections, one for large dogs and one for small. There is a drinking fountain for both humans and dogs. There is also a good amount of parking.

A large dog park with tons of space for the dogs to run. There are lots of water bowls and a fountain inside the park. Several balls were available for playing fetch. There are benches, picnic tables, and patio chairs available for the humans. The entire park was a soggy, muddy mess though. It has rained the past few days but I didn’t expect it to be so bad. The dogs were soaked and the people were splattered with mud. I had a towel but one wasn’t enough. Definitely a great park to visit just be prepared if it’s been raining.

Took my dog here today. Lots of dogs to play with and plenty of room to tire him out. Great place overall. Well kept.

Nice spot to take your best friend. The other owners seem to be regulars and have created a family environment.

This is a great dog park! Lots of room for dogs to roam! 2 sections 1 for smaller dogs 1 for larger! A shelter for humans! There is a water fountain for dogs and bags to pick up after your fur babies!

Big dog park. 2 different ones - a big one for all dogs and a smaller one for smaller dogs. Well kept up. My dogs love it.

It's a nice park. Could add some things. It's just a fenced-in piece of land with a gazebo. Seating is pretty raggedy. Be nice if the dogs had obstacles or something to swim in.

It was nice there were not many dogs at the park. However, the dogs and their owners were very nice.

I absolutely love how big and clean this park is. I love that it has community toys and water, bowls for dogs, as well as a water fountain for humans and for the dogs. I live 28 minutes away and will definitely make the drive just to go to the park. My one year-old puppy absolutely enjoys being up this part as well as playing with other dogs that come in and out..

Nice big dog park! They have a large, small dog area. They have also added a pavilion to the large dog park, rather nice. They also have a separate area on the side it you don't want your dog eith others but in a nice open fenced in area. But while it maybe great if it rains at all the ground is muddy and wet. With the uneven ground deep puddles form. And due to the position of the dog park it takes days for it to dry back up.

Great little dog park, but prone towards muddiness. Bring a damp towel to wipe your dog and your own feet if it's been rainy. There are persistently muddy areas, so be prepared. Pros: separate areas for smaller and larger dogs; water provided in warmer weather; kept clean by dog owners and the Township; the dogs are accompanied by nice, friendly, responsible humans; plenty of parking; the Township provides poop bags for those of us who run out; and seating is provided . Cons: mud - it's in a low-lying area and stays damp long after rain; can be dusty when the mud dries; the fence has a few gaps here and there where a very small dog might be able to wriggle through; no bathroom facilities for humans; and no way to clean mud/dirt once up in the parking lot. The Township (or someone) occasionally puts straw down in the muddiest areas, which certainly helps, as well as new grass seed, but the whole park, not just the entry area, could use a layer of sand to increase drainage. The new gate and small addition on the side towards the new houses is welcome, but the gate was malfunctioning the last time I was there. I really like this little dog park and I'm delighted that we have it. It is well-used by residents and we all seem to appreciate the care that goes into it. And thanks to the users who clean up after their dogs and to the admin of the (unofficial) Violet Township Dog Park Facebook page where we can post mud reports and residents can learn about the park.

Nice little park currently the larger sized dog area is under construction. They are building something. No clue, sorry. So there were some bigger dogs in smaller area but my lil guy got along with them just fine. It was a nice day they deserve the time outside as well. Been here a few times, great place for him to stretch his legs and get up to speed to wear him down 😂😂😂

Great place. I love that they have different area's for big and small dog's. Plenty of tennis balls. Maybe bring a chair if you plan on staying awhile.

Good enough for a nearby dog park. The area for dogs under 30lbs is a much smaller area than for dogs over but that is understandable.

Plenty of room for the dogs to go crazy and run off all that energy from being cooped up inside during the day. During the warmer months they have a water fountain available to fill up a bowl for the dogs to drink out of. As soon as it starts getting cold out they shut off the water so it doesn't freeze and bust, so bring some with you in that instance. It is open year round though so that's nice.

Loved it here ❤ two separated areas, one for large dogs and the other for small ones. Everyone was friendly and no issues. However two irresponsible owners did let their unleashed dogs out on their way out of the park, which usually isn't an issue for me. But their dogs had no recall and ran right to the road. Hopefully nothing bad happened.
