This clinic does not care about your pets! They are only after your money! I took in my cat to treat an infection. Vet recommended surgery and noted that our cat would be feeling better the next day. After surgery, we took our cat home and he died the same night. When we went back to the clinic, the receptionist said she recommended euthanasia when we brought him in which is not true. She was super unprofessional and told us we needed to leave because we were reasonably upset. Also, it does not note in our paperwork that euthanasia was recommended. If they did, we would’ve agreed to it. There’s no reason our cat had to suffer another day. The paperwork states the cat would be feeling better the next day. We paid $855 for surgery to save our cats life (ACCORDING TO STAFF) but all they did was steal our money and cause him more pain! I would suggest that the workers here, especially the receptionist, find a different line of work if they are this cruel towards animals.

I had an appointment at 10 am and had been waiting for almost 40 minutes. I went to check in after 30 minutes if I was going to get seen someone who came after me had gotten called. Then when I go inside to check the girl who told me they were going to call me she was eating and talking to me without a mask very unprofessional. Still went outside came back for the second time and told me I was next waited an additional 10 minutes. I’m just getting my dogs last sets and not coming here again very unprofessional doesn’t respect appointment time and not even an apology for waiting too long!!! Disappointed in customer service!!!

The staff were very friendly, professional and very caring of my dog during my first visit. The doctor was also very friendly, professional and had great "bed side" manner with my dog. They are very reasonably priced and did not try to upsell me at all. The facility is also very clean, updated and they even have an outdoor patio area for waiting to be called. I highly recommend this hospital!

I went to have my dog spayed. And when the surgery was a success, I got a call for when to pick up my doggy(Athena). I asked if she was in heat because it would have been an extra 50$ if she was and the hospital said she wasn’t. Then when I went they charged me for her being in heat. I said I got a call that said she wasn’t in heat and the secretary had to check with the doctor. They took off the charge bringing down the price a good amount. Just be careful of what your charged for here.

My eight-year-old Westie was spayed, had a dental cleaning and had two teeth removed on the same visit. All for less than $500 ($498 and cents). The care Chelsea received was spectacular and the customer service was amazing. I had originally intended to take my dog to TJ for the procedures but considering that I would have to drive down south from Long Beach with my kids and spend the day in the area until Chelsea was ready for pick up, out weighted any savings from the trip. The hospital has a 20% discount on procedures on certain days, make sure to call ahead to make sure you take advantage of that benefit. The doctor was very caring and straight to the point. I never felt like they were trying to oversell me medical treatments or medicine. They were even accommodating with my drive back from Long Beach to pick Chelsea up. I would recommend their services and use them again.

I gave an extra star because I haven't visited in person. I'm not saying the receptionist was rude but I'm looking at a flyer and it clearly states $25 off your pets first exam. She said they don't take coupons.. it's gotta be me..I hung up please refer abajo..yeah it's me..ok

I was referred to Pico Rivera Animal Hospital by my vet for my six year old Chihuahua's broken leg. They did surgery on 11/01/2021 and fixed a dislocated shoulder. She is making steady progress in walking and I hope she returns to her former self.

Very professional and clean hospital. Took my cat in because he had a mouth infection it was a bit pricey but hey it got my baby feeling better so it was worth it. I like that they were able to give me an appointment the next day too! Would recommend 👍🏼

This is the worst veterinary hospital in my experience. They are not friendly towards handicap people at all. They are very poorly trained. They have you waiting on the phone more than 45 minutes to an hour and the staff gives you the runaround. Also, the veterinarians are money hungry they may be saying that they’re giving you discounts but they’re not giving you nothing all they doing is filling there pockets with your money they do not care about your pets all they care about is the money that’s coming in all they see is a dollar sign when you come in through the door so you have been warned this place is not handicap friendly at all towards people with disabilities there are many other veterinarians that are better qualified and better trained staff than this one you are better off going somewhere else. They take a vantage of your emotions in your vulnerability, and the ones that suffer are your pets. Most people would do anything for their pets like I would, and that’s where they take advantage from your emotions and love for your animal. I would give this please no stars, but it will not allow me to do that so I will give it one star you have been warned if you Have a disability don’t come here because the staff is rude, and they have no patience. All they want to do is move onto the next person to keep collecting money. If you have the money to throw away then this is your place but if you want to get better care and for a reasonable price, then go somewhere else because this is the wrong place👎👎👎👎 Horrible place

I had to put my dog to sleep on January 3, I've never had done that it's so heart breaking but the doctor and the other assistants made us feel as comfortable as they could, there so understanding of how we felt. We had our little Cronie for 15 years he was the best dog we've ever had. Thank you to staff at Pico Rivera Animal Hospital you helped us through a difficult time.

Very expensive, we rescues deserved to be giving us discounts not senios or vets. Why? Because is us who have more than 10 cats and we still feed around hungry cats , the doc wanted to charge 500 +for xrays and blood for a condicion that only need a great antibiotics, san thomas animal clinic give me the respect and service i need it and the charge was really fair is the best, go dont call bc they dont answer the phone i guess too bussy.

Ever since they went corporate, their prices skyrocketed. On another note, my dog went in to get spayed, she caught parvo, infected three of her puppies and they died. Pico Rivera Animal Hospital never told me my dog was infected, but they gave her antibiotics for being spayed. My other pups never received antibiotics for being spayed. I called them near closing hours and they refused to attend my dieing puppies. I hope this hospital goes out of business.

Lovely staff, everyone was very caring and kind. Doctor was very knowledgeable and nice; cared for me and my pet even though he knew this was a 1 time visit. He even recommended I take extra anti-anxiety for my out of state move planned for next year.

Had to edit.. if you dont want to read my rant they just want money and are over priced. Definitely the last time i will go there. On my dogs final days I took her here to lay her to rest. The vet gave me a second opinion he said she was young(14yr)&sold me at least 6 medications to give her without actually checking her. I paid of course because of false hope I ended up taking her to another clinic and was given great service until her final days however the clinic did not offer upgraded urn packages so I came back here. Huge mistake.. I was not told when my dogs ashes would be available so I had to call them serveral times I was finally told they'd arrive on Friday. Friday and sat passed so I called Sunday morning. Was told sorry for no one calling yes her ashes arrived. I go to pick up her up...it was not my dog ...I was called to go back for her ashes and they're in the standard wooden box 👀 I paid an extra 200+ for an urn. I explained they try to charge me again 😒 after actually checking my account seeing what I paid for they agreed to contact the services and correct the error. A week passed.. nothing.. another week passed still nothing I received a call asking which color urn I would like. Two weeks pass I'm calling the heck out of there now was told sorry you'll have to wait.. no one explained that if you get an urn it takes longer had I known I would've purchased an urn online I knew my dog was in her final days I chose this place specifically for there upgraded packages because my baby was a beautiful free spirit and I could not stand the thought of seeing her in a box!! Which ended up happening 600+ dollars later anyway! I called one last time and asked them to please contact vendor and get an idea of when I'd be getting her.. they gave me a date it finally came and I brought her home after what felt like a roller coaster of emotions ..certain staff was amazing and helpful other parts of staff rude short not very compassionate. I annoyed them to get my dog back ... I had her at 6weeks for 14yrs .. that was literally the longest I've been away from her. It was difficult and emotional and it hurt because I went there specifically to get certain services to avoid certain things and still went through it anyway .. very disappointing

I brought my new puppy in for a physical exam and vaccines. The staff were very friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Bolous he was thorough and kind. This has by far been the best experience I’ve had with a veterinarian team, thank you Pico Rivera Animal Hospital!

The staff is amazing!! They have been taking care of my pet family for years. One of my pups was recently diagnosed with diabetes. Dr. Hernandez and staff helped us through the process to get him stable and adjust to our new normal. Thank you all for you help and compassion.

My dog has been going to PRAH since he was a puppy. They used to be very affordable and I really liked the vet. This was our first visit in a few years. They no longer host a vaccination clinic, and today they left a pretty significant bruise on my dog. They drew blood and put him back in his carrier and handed him to me, without letting me know they struggled to draw blood. When we got home I discovered a really significant bruise and bump on his chest. I called them to ask if this was a negative reaction to the vaccines he received and they let me know that this happened while they were drawing blood. The team is very nice but I was so deeply disappointed and I don't think I'll be going back. Didn't feel like the quality of care met my expectations. If you decide to try them, make sure you check your pets before leaving. Really disappointed.

I’ve been to a few Vets in the area and my wife and I really like this one. The staff is great, friendly, and helpful. I can’t say the same about the others. Our dog has had a few procedures here and they gone very well.

Prices are a little high but service is good. Its the first vet I have been to where they don’t vaccinate in front of the owner. I kept wondering about “how do I know they did what they say they did”? I’m going to chose to trust the process but it took some getting used to. Overall good experiences. Making appointments is pretty easy and I can get them when I want usually.

I was in between alot of time sensitive commitments, that bring said they squeezed me in and took care of my Dogs 🐕 evaluation and the shots he needed that same day. Very grateful and appreciative of the sacrifice they made for my dog and I. Great service and definitely the place to take your pet's for whatever they may need. 👍

I loved this place. They treat you and your fur baby super good. They took me in the same day. I was calling other vet clinics and they squeezed me in to check my baby. Prices are reasonable and I have pet insurance so it was a big help too. I would recommend this place to anybody.

My fur baby was in a bad way, Severe Chronic Kidney Disease. They helped soo much, way over what you'd expect. They gave me more time with my baby, can't ask for a better, more caring staff.

The vet did not tell me that my cat was dying. Charged me $850.00. The cat died the next day from being released from the hospital. Spoke to the vet. Vet said, I was informed of the cat's grave illness. Not true. Do not take your pets there.

Been our vet for over 35 years. Dr R Goraya still available for surgeries. His daughter, Dr Paneet Goraya has same care, compassion and gentle way with our pets. Will continue to go there and would recommend her just as we do her dad.

Best vet in SoCal!!!!! My pitbull has devastating allergies, I took him to at least four different clinics and no help at all until we came here. I don’t mind driving 45 minutes from Westwood to get the care they offer here. So grateful to the doctors and especially the front desk and assistants for helping my sweet boy.
