This is a beautiful place to stay, the building, grounds and rooms are very upmarket if a little OTT. The food is sublime and I had the best breakfast of any hotel I can remember. They have the usual European fare of meats and cheeses etc but also poached and scrambled eggs, streaky bacon etc but also an amazing array of cakes and pastries.

Really lovely but..... SLOW!! I ate here for the second time today (Sunday 11th July 2021). It was a special family meal to celebrate a birthday. The quality of the food and coffees, together with the luxurious ambience really make this hotel feel very special. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff do try to provide a professional service at the table. But the service was incredibly slow and somewhat disjointed with the coffees arriving over a period of about 15 mins (after a half hour wait) and the desserts then arriving about 15 minutes after that, again spread over a 15 minute period. Very odd. I'm not blaming the staff because they were probably just short-staffed and that's always management's decision/fault. The gardens are wonderful too. I've given 5 stars but, as I said earlier, the service can be slow. PS: Really enjoyed the young guy kneeling down in the restaurant and proposing to his girlfriend in front of us all. Fortunately she said, "Yes!" Congratulations to both of them. I ate here again today - 16th October 2022 and the service was so SLOW ... AGAIN! No real problem with the starters and main courses (and they were tasty) but we then ordered coffees and desserts ..... The coffees were served after about 20 mins and were nowhere near hot .... and then we waited .... and waited .... and waited for the desserts, which took another 40 minutes plus. Unforgivable at this price. Yes there was a table of 15 who received their main courses, which probably caused the delay in our desserts but that happens in many restaurants so this one has to find a way of coping. No communication about the delay until we complained. No offer of free coffees. No explanation as to why the coffees were served 40 minutes before the desserts. Don't the waiting staff and kitchen staff talk to each other? Obviously not. I was not paying, for which I'm very grateful. At these prices you have to do better. And another thing .... my wife really fancied the sweet cheese-filled pancakes from the children's menu for dessert .... but our waiter told us that the owner had forbidden the staff from serving dishes from the children's menu to adults, as they were priced lower. Seriously! A table of 8. A bill of maybe 1,000 zloty and my wife is refused a children's dessert on principal. That's a really poor, short-sighted attitude on the part of the owner.

A wonderful hotel! The rooms are very nice. Everything is very clean, updated, and high-quality. The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is amazing, in quality, selection, and presentation. The hotel garden area is tastefully decorated for the holiday season. This is a hidden jewel, and the rates this time of year make it a great value. A five-star experience at a three-star price. We are already making plans to stay there again later this winter.

WOW! Truly a luxury hotel! Filled with various facilities and located near a very quiet neighbourhood yet very close to the auto road. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and offered as much help as possible. Breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of foods with local products that were made specifically by the chef at the hotel. Restaurant was also great and very elegant. Will definitely come back if ever in Katowice!

Lovely rooms, good food but bad service. Waiters and bar staff forgetting basic manners and combative tone. From a hotel that pride themselves on 4 stars you’d expect more.

Very recommended and clean hotel located at the surbub of Bytom. The staff is very pleasent and competent. The hotel room is modernly furnished and I found the bed very comfortable. Slept very well. I also found the bathroom to be attractively furnished and everything necessary is there. Great breakfast buffet that leaves nothing to be desired.

Luxury hotel / venue about 14KM from Katowice City and 20 from Katowice Airport. We went there for the wedding of 2 friends and a few of us stayed over the night before and eat in the hotel’s restaurant. The rooms: Whilst not huge, were very tastefully decorated with luxury finishes on the walls, curtains floors and beds. The bathroom was also luxuriously decorated with nice touches like big quality tiles and led lighting. The Restaurant: 6 of us eat in the restaurant and the waiter service in there was very good. Our main waiter spoke very good English and was able to give help and opinions on meal choices. The food when it arrived all looked amazing however I think that we were all left a little disappointed that the food didn’t taste quite as good as it looked. – Not bad just not as amazing as we had expected especially given the prices in the restaurant which compared to restaurants of a similar standard in Poland were quite high. The Venue The room that our friends had hired for the wedding was very tastefully decorated and I’m pleased to say the staff for the wedding reception we equally as good as those the previous night in the restaurant. The food on the other had was worlds apart from the restaurant, every single dish that was served – and there was far too much for any of us to finish was very tasty – meats, soups, vegetables and desserts.

The best place to stay in the region

I was here 2 years ago and loved it. That is why I wanted to come back, however I was very disappointed. The first night we had only a flat pillow to sleep on and they gave us another one for our second night. The restaurant food was very expensive and nothing to brag about. The garden is lovely and a nice retreat. There was a food smell all over the hotel and the breakfast was reduced compared to our previous stay. There was no champagne or the variety was reduced. The fantastic cakes they had were replaced with homemade dried out cake slices or squares. The variety of rolls was not provided and the staff was not a attentive to the customers as they used to be. I had to pay $23 per person for this breakfast and was disappointed. There is also no business center available, which is bad if you need to get a paper printed from your computer.

Best hotel in Poland, great service, food and staff, all staff are super qualified and polite. I will be back soon.

Excellent place to stay, the room is nice with big bathroom and very comfy bed. The breakfast is very tasty with a variety of food.

An exquisite place with wonderful traditional polish food. The ball room is large and very beautiful. But the food... Amazing.
