We had to make reservations and had to wait a little due to covid restrictions. Beautiful view on Carr Inlet next to the Purdy Bridge. Service was good except we were seated next to the outside seat door when patrons or staff was going in and out it was breezy and I had to keep closing. Would recommend not sitting there. But the servers were great and kept checking on us. The price was better than I would get in Tacoma too so a plus! Want to come back and even check out happy hour.

Wonderful Italian food! You can tell that they put a lot of care into making their food. Prices are acceptable for a restaurant like this as well. The view of the water is wonderful, especially at sunset. Wonderful place to stop by if your craving some good food. :)

Sooooooo delicious. Absolutely everything was so flavorful. Prices are good for the amount of food you get. The staff was friendly and attentive. We didn't know you could make reservations, but we were lucky there was a spot at the bar for us. We will definitely be back again!

Delicious food, great portions, many options, super clean restaurant! We did take out but looking forward to dining in and enjoying the view of the water! We are super impressed!!! Our 14yr old loved the cheese pizza~

My husband and I went for a date night, each of us got one of the specials. The tri-tip was very tough and did not have much flavor but everything else was very good. I would recommend any of the seafood dishes or their house pasta. The service was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a beautiful view and the atmosphere was perfect for date night.

Took my wife here for our anniversary. The good: The food was spectacular. Plentiful, and delicious. The bad: We had been seated for over 30 minutes before we had to get up to find a server. Other people who had been seated after us had their orders taken before we were even acknowledged. My wife had to get up to find a server. When he did finally come he said he didn't know we were here, even though he took orders from people seated right next to us. Once we had our food, he never came back to see if we needed more drinks. Then asked if we wanted dessert after we had already paid our bill. We will come back just based off the food alone, but the service leads much to be desired.

I'm already used to paying an overpriced amount for a meal that doesn't have anything special, this is one of the restaurants that remind you that a nice meal doesn't come up with a high price tag. I liked every dish I got entries, main dishes, drinks and an amazing panacotta for dessert and paid like 35% less than in other places I've visited and here I was even enjoying a nice view .

Great service. But why does the entire restaurant smell like cheap vanilla air freshener mixed with a nursing home? Not what I want to smell when I walk into an Italian restaurant. I want to smell garlic and yummy food. Also, the bread was not soft and fluffy the way it used to be. Seemed tough and bland. Also wish they offered balsamic vinegar to go with the garlic olive oil. I had the rigatoni which I was told people go to this restaurant specifically for the rigatoni. Big mistake as I already have a favorite rigatoni I have ordered from Adriatic for the last ten years. I should have known it wouldn't compete. The house made sausage was okay but could use more black pepper. And the sundried tomatoes didn't give the dish enough acid to counter the richness of the cream sauce. Two stars for the great service though.

Oh my gosh we had the BEST MEAL! Friendly people, delicious food and wonderful ambiance with a lovely sunset. It was my birthday and people sang to me!

This was our first time and we were impressed! The food was delicious, the waitress Anna was maybe the best waitress we've had! The prices are really reasonable! We will definitely be back!

My 1st time here and it was an amazing experience. You walk in and immediately transformed to another place. The interior ceiling painted with sky and clouds adds a serene atmosphere. Our hostess was prompt at seating us, very friendly and it continued. Our service was immediate, from the beverages to the main course our needs were met. I was treated for my 61st birthday so glad I found your website to guide me to your establishment. Good was so fresh, tasty and portions just right. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Waaaay over priced. The Caesar salad was bland. The chicken Parm was hard and dry, and the noodles were not properly drained making the already flavorless sauce runny. The view is lovely, but there are plenty of better restaurants with nice views.

Had a lovely dinner this evening with my wife, stepdaughter and her husband and two young grandkids at Massimo. This is an extremely well managed restaurant. All staff are professional and well trained. From the hostess to our amazing waiter Jason, we had an excellent experience. Jason was the perfect mix of knowledge, efficiency and humor and was so very patient with our grandson who, although very well behaved, was a typically messy 11 month old. We all agreed that our food was excellent and I took Jason’s recommendation and had the baked halibut. It was perfectly prepared. A great dinner and I highly recommend Massimo.

Stopped at 8. Waited about 8 minutes for someone to acknowledge our presence. Finally called and asked nicely about a table for two. Hostess was on other end of phone as she walked up front. She asked condescendingly if we had reservations. I said no. She replied sorry but we're booked for the night. I stated that it would have been nice if someone would have informed us sooner. Instead, every staff member noted our presence but not a one greeted us or told us they were booked. No idea how the service or food is but we will not give this place a second chance. Post Covid service attitude.

The view is beautiful from Massimo's. We ordered a couple appetizers that were good. The clams had a nice broth, mozzarella caprese salad is always a great app to share. We also had the calamari in red sauce. I always look forward to the tiramisu at the end, this was a sad end. The size of the piece we took home was so sad for how much they charge. Maybe it was the end of cake but it didn't have much cream on it. Our waitress was great, she was very attentive to us and to the birthday party tables that were next to us. Next time I'd like to try their pasta entrees.

The carpaccio was awesome...so was the tiramisu. But the minestrone was almost flavorless...like something from a school cafeteria. Unfortunately the service was less than stellar as well.

My mom is a regular here and has never really had a issue and I've come a few times as well but today was just a NO for me. The food was good, well move of it but the service was absolutely slow, we were there for a little over 2 hours and not because we wanted to be, everything was just so so slow from getting lemons for water to salt for the table. We came to celebrate my daughters birthday and she didn't get to eat because she ordered the lamb shank special but it was dry so she sent it back and ordered the linguine alfredo with chicken and it came out with a long black hair intertwined in the pasta so she lost her appetite, no manager came to apologize or give a discount or anything. Spent over $150 and for her to not get to enjoy her birthday dinner was just very disappointing, probably won't go back now because it really only takes 1 bad time to not want to give it another try

A great end to a not great weekend. Had family in town due to my father's memorial. Decided to take everyone out to dinner the next night, Sunday, as they left Monday morning. I called ahead as it was a large group. The staff was absolutely AMAZING. No issues with accommodations for the lot of people, seated right on time for the time we gave them, GREAT food. If you're going to have a group 6 or more, I would definitely recommend calling ahead to let them know. It makes everything so much easier for all parties.

Great food. They have some small gluten-free options, BUT they know how to actually cook gluten-free pasta! The Crème Brûlée is delicious. All their pasta and soup flavors are spot on. The staff is very friendly. I haven't tried anything at the bar, but the bartender keeps the area clean, and knows how to keep patrons from causing a ruckus.

We went to dinner last night and the food was exceptionally good we go to Massimo’s a lot and even the things we normally order were better than usual . The Lemon Veggie soup was delicious! The Halibut cheeks were tender and the side of pasta and zucchini was excellent ! All of it was better than usual please tell me what you’re doing different it is noticeable. It was great before now even better !! Stellar job

5 Stars all the way! We sat at the bar while we experienced an AMAZING sunset. The drinks served by our attentive bartender were a perfect mix every time and the food was outstanding! An absolute must try for anyone passing through!

They are closed until Nov 7th with no warning or Google update. We were just there with out of town family and they didn't mention a thing. Also an upgrade on the tomatoes would be appreciated. Thanks.

My wife and I love this place! Great view and friendly service. Food was all really good. Started with the clams then got the veal with a Gorgonzola sauce. All so good
