Great hike. Pics just do not do justice to this hiking area.

The views from this trail are amazing. In my humble opinion, I would classify this trail as Hard. It is highly trafficked, so you will pass plenty of fellow hikers. If it's not proven, I would guess the ascent is around 900ft. within the first 1.5 miles. Occasionally you will hear and see small waterfalls, as you make your way toward Bridle Wreath Falls and beyond. Wear layers in the winter months; you'll need them in the early hours, but likely not later. It's a very good workout. Enjoy.

Beginning at the Douglas Spirngs Trailhead, we hiked to Ernie's Falls to Bridal Wreath to Garwood Trail in Saguaro National Park. It is a very pretty moderately difficult 8.65 mile hike. If you can visit when the snow melts, the falls are amazing!

Great hike, outside of national park, free street parking. No water, no restrooms, but trash/recycling so heads up. Steady incline.

Did the Douglas Spring Trail on Saturday with my wife and kids. Located at the EAST end of Speedway Blvd. We went in 1.5 miles and then came back out. It’s a nice hike, and the cactus are starting to pop which makes it really scenic right now. The trail is not too steep and there are well developed β€œsteps”, but it is a bit narrow and that makes social distancing a slight challenge. Would be better if they did not allow horses as they leave a mess and the owners don’t clean up after their animals. VictorB

A great place to get in some leg burning trail walks. With a nice breeze, the trails are great to meander on. Just don't go when it's blistering hot or you will most definitely hate your life. The one downside is that not all of the trails are marked. So bring a good map and know how to use a compass and read said map.

We visited Saguoro NP East a week ago. The ranger at the visitor center was very helpful, and we were looking for a moderate hike with beautiful views. It was located outside of the official entrance to the park. There was parking in the parking lot. There were cars parked outside along the street. It took us around 3 hours roundtrip. So glad that we went in the morning since it became hot. The view along the way was beautiful. We spotted a snake (not a rattlesnake) crossing our path and quickly went in the bush. There was no water flowing and can imagine how spectacular the spring is during spring.

Fun, easy, and clearly marked trails. Very nicely maintained. Rangers definitely patrol area, which cuts down on rif-raf!

Great trail to hike or run. No restroom facilities at trailhead. A lot of people around and different loops choose from

Was hoping for a good stargazing experience; I wouldnt say I didnt have one, but there was a bright white sign right there for some ranch and it truly took away from it as I had to keep blocking my eyes from it with my hands and arm. Attached are some 10-15 sec exposures from Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Fun trail. Well maintained. Not to much elevation change but still a good workout.

Great place to hike... not a lot of ups & down...some tough sandy trails... look for this rare Saguaro Catus with a Crown..

I met someone there for a horseback ride and it was amazing. The desert was beautiful and it was sprinkling, so the air smelled fresh and clean. The trail was pretty easy on horseback, but probably a bit harder walking

Nice trail. I stopped at the campground because I was running out of time. The trail is mainly uphill and rather steep for inexperienced hikers, especially under heat. Rincon mountains are very different from Santa Catalina mountains. You need to go far to feel remote but all the trails in the saguaro National Park are really long. I recommend stopping at bridal wreath falls. This place looks really awesome in the last couple hours before sunset. I did not meet anyone. Peaceful. I’ll come back to go to the top.

It was very fun, I cant wait to go back! I saw a lot of wildlife when I got further out. Roadrunner, desert fox, mountain lion, white tail deer, King snake and many other birds. The switchback are amazing and give an amazing view of part of the saguaro national forest. Look out for some pics and I cant wait to get my action camera!

Beautiful! We took the turn to Bridal Wreath Falls and enjoyed the sunset and a picnic. Be careful as some parts of the trail are high stepped, or near the mountain side. Bring a light if hiking past dark, it's pitch black, but you can see so many stars! Moderate to challenging hike for someone not used to hiking but still physically able. Recommend take lots of breaks to sit down and rest your feet, going in is almost all uphill with some flat spots, coming back is easier but watch your ankles going down the tall cut-rock steps.

Multiple trails into East Saguaro National Park leave from this trail head. There are no restrooms, just a covered picnic area. Parking is available but it usually flows onto the road due to the popularity of this area.

Perfect starting point to explore the quiet side of Saguaro NP.
