👍 Near-perfect trip. Beautiful on an aesthetic level, serene on the scale of ambience. Spent a good three hours outside, soaking up sun and getting some good exercise. Highly recommend. Be careful if you're bringing children, some of the trails are rather treacherous. People often mention beautiful, water,

Few people stop here because it's so close to the bottom of the mountain. However, just climb down a little ways and you are smack, in the middle of a beautiful riparian zone. Flowing water is frequently found. Birds and other wildlife are plentiful. Check it out.

Great place for hiking. This is a 5.1 mile trail that offers different levels of difficulty. Best time to go is starting from October to April. You can also bring your dog. The trail starts from the Molino Basin Campground parking lot.

Even though this is just a short distance off the highway and there is a gun range across the highway, it is a peaceful place when you are down beside the water and the creek is running.

Still nice water. A little rugged getting down to the canyon floor and back up again.

So peaceful. It is very beautiful, very quiet and serene. All the rocks and mountains were so big that I wanted to scream and listen to my echo and the canyon so silent that I didn't want to disturb the peace. Highly recommend visiting during the sunrise.

Geologically and ecologically beautiful stop along the Catalina Highway. You can hike down into the canyon and see the Catalina Gneiss, an absolutely gorgeous metamorphosed granite. Ephemeral waterfalls line the canyon, watch your step!

Everything about Mt Lemmon is absolutely tranquil! This spot is still in the higher temp area elevation wise, but still beautiful.

I expected that I can see a nice waterfall. But I failed and water is gone due to dry weather. I will revisit here to see waterfall. Even though there was less water, it is worthwhile to visit here because of the great scenery.
