A quiet place with a breathtaking view of mountains and lake. There are resorts nearby, but one can just visit this place for some piece of mind as well. Lots of birds chirping and insects noise can be heard here. There are dogs here, would be nice to brings biscuits or snacks for them.

A good place to visit.. Specifically during monsoon. Hardly a couple of km from igatpuri station. Easy to find place with help of google map or local people. Make sure to where shoes as in monsoon it's slippery. Good nature vibe and really clean place to enjoy day long family trip.

If you are driving down from mumbai, take left near mahindra factory and follow the map. The place is serene with beautiful hills on 3 sides of the lake. Evening time is blissful with cool breeze. Recently locals have started consuming liquor near the lake and one can see a lot of liquor bottles strewn around. If you have some more time, you can also visit the near by trekking point which is one the right hand side of the lake

Top on my list near Mumbai. Must must visit place in monsoon. Take atleast 2-3 day to explore more.

Beautiful piece of beauty nestled between the amazing lush green and mighty mountains!! Monsoon is the best time to visit but don't forget to carry some rainwear since it's mostly raining during monsoon!!! There are generally small stalls but during heavy rains it's better to carry some eatables and light snacks.

The lake is like a cherry on cake for visitors as it has a waterfall near it. If you are visiting Igatpuri waterfall you will get this lake as an advance gift by nature to relax. 😌

The lake is adjacent to Igatpuri town.. it has a seasonal waterfall from adjacent hills.. To reach one has to take left from the main road in front of Igatpuri railway station..

If you want a calm place without any crowd then Igatpuri Lake view is the best. If you go little higher you can see beautiful waterfall just 1 km away. It was breathtaking😍

Good place for spending time with partner or family. I saw a guy drinking alone but the place is too big for any trouble
