    My first visit was fine. Saw Dr. Magazine and got questions answered and she was helpful. Second visit was to have 2 teeth extracted and that visit was the worst dental visit I have ever had. Had a 9:30 appointment and didn't get out until almost 1:00. The communication between staff and patient was non existent. The Dr. had an issue with the patient before me that took longer, which I understand, but I was left sitting for over an hour without knowing why. Then when it finally came down to the procedure halfway through the equipment malfunctioned. Once I was finished I was told 2 prescriptions were being called in for me that would probably be ready by 5. It took me 3 phone calls and 2 days to get my meds, one which was an antibiotic. Very unprofessional experience.

    Today marked just another great experience at Great expressions. Dr. magazine is meticulous in everything she does for her patients. Her entire staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. I’m so glad I found her many, many years ago. It’s the best!! I’ll never go anywhere else and would refer her to anyone.

    Always professional and friendly. Dr. Magazine always explains what she's doing, what she finds and then produces a treatment plan. The front desk staff keeps everything running smoothly while answering the phone, making appointments and taking payments. We will continue to go to GEDC in Pinellas Park FL.

    I have had a lot of dental work over the years, and it was not always a pleasant experience until I began going to Dr. Magazine. She is very professional and detail oriented, but is also kind and caring and injects a bit of humor (no pun intended) along with the Novocain. It really makes going to the dentist something that you don’t dread. :)

    Terrible customer service. I feel so frustrated because I don't get to talk to anybody at this office. I have made many calls trying to make an appointment for my husband, but either they put me on hold and let me wait in-line for a long time without answering back or never called me back when I left voice messages. Hope managers read this and make something about.

    This dental office is incompetent, highly disrespectful and possibly fraudulent. They screwed up by not filing a claim to my insurance when they should have and charged me for the entire amount of a crown. When I suspected that I was overcharged and asked about how much my insurance covered Kara told me “we didn’t know you had insurance” and “we did your favor and signed you up for the Smile Protection Dental Plan so that covered most of it.” I provided my insurance the first day I stepped foot in the office on July 12, 2023 and they filed claims with my insurance at that time for X-rays. The 1st crown procedure that they didn’t file a claim for took place on August 16, 2023. They also automatically signed me up for their insurance plan which I never signed up for or authorized. To make matters worse, when I called to get all my paperwork so I could research the issue with my insurance company, the front office staff belittled me, got frustrated and agitated with my requests and hung up the phone on me. I called back and was placed on hold for 20 minutes without them ever picking it up again. So i went into the office and asked for my paperwork there. The front office staff immediately called the cops on me and told a huge lie that I was screaming and threatening them in their lobby. I recorded the entire conversation which proves otherwise. They didn’t want the accountability, to explain the issue or give me any paperwork. They simply called the cops so they could get rid of me and humiliated me in the process. I am sitting here with tooth pain and an huge hole in my tooth from the 2nd root canal and temporary filling that has fallen out and now they won’t finish the job because they have trespassed me for no reason. I had the appointment to get the crown and filling today 10/5/23 which I’ve been waiting for over month to get. There was no reason to humiliate me by calling the police because they didn’t want to deal with the issue and not because I caused any kind of problem there. Not sure what this world has come to but I guess lying and calling the cops to avoid accountability is the way to handle business now days. Very unfortunate situation. Thanks Kara.

    Kara Carlson and Dr. Joanna Magazine you are disgrace to the medical field. My husband is under your care and you’ve left him with a hole in his tooth and in pain. He had a scheduled appointment to get a crown and permanent filling on 10/5/2023 but you decided to trespass him after he made requests to get his medical records on the phone and in person so now he can’t complete his medical care with you. This is in attempt to get out of accountability for shady medical billing practices and not because he did anything wrong. We’ve been hung up on, lied to and called the cops on because we’ve attempted to retrieve his medical records that you won’t provide. Hmm 🤔 I wonder why? How awful that’s the way you treat your patients. Lastly from a cleanliness standpoint, the place is disgusting with cockroaches scurrying across the ground while getting treated. I am a patient as well and I will not be back for services.
