I
booked
Pinon2
at
the
last
minute
@$150/night.
I
knew
the
rooms
would
be
"rustic",
looked
old
from
the
pictures
online.
I
booked
the
rooms
with
Chuck
who
I
believe
is
the
manager/owner.
I
let
him
know
I
was
OK
with
rustic
as
long
as
they
were
CLEAN.
He
didn't
say
anything,
so
I
assumed
the
room
would
be
clean.
NOT.
When
I
opened
the
door,
there
was
an
immediate
urine
odor.
There
was
real
dirt
buildup
along
the
baseboards,
food
stuck
on
the
kitchen
table,
and
the
microwave
was
not
clean.
I
cleaned
it,
so
I
could
stand
being
there.
There
was
dust
in
some
places
and
not
in
others.
I
had
read
an
online
review
that
included
a
urine
smell
in
the
room,
and
I
must
have
gotten
that
room
(my
reason
for
naming
the
room
I
stayed
in).
There
was
also
a
note
in
the
kitchen
that
guests
were
to
clean
the
kitchen
before
leaving
and
to
take
out
the
trash.
Clearly
no
one
did
a
check
on
the
room
though
it
appeared
some
of
it
was
clean,
and
I
did
see
a
cleaning
person
on
site.
The
a/c
unit
was
too
small
to
cool
a
room
of
this
size.
Had
I
known
all
this,
I
would
have
booked
another
hotel/motel
at
$169/night.
At
best
this
is
an
$80/night
room.
I
will
not
stay
here
again.
(I
asked
a
couple
of
other
guests
who
said
their
room
was
clean,
but
they
were
not
happy
about
having
to
clean
the
kitchen/take
out
the
trash.)
I
did
not
bother
with
calling
management
about
this.
The
room
was
paid
for,
I
knew
there
were
no
other
rooms,
and
I
wanted
to
enjoy
my
w/e.
My
olfactory
senses
tuned
out
the
smell
after
about
10
minutes
for
which
I
was
super
grateful.
Buyer
beware.
In
response
to
Chuck's
response
below,
I
explained
why
I
didn't
say
anything.
You
always
have
the
option
to
make
it
right.
I
don't
see
an
attempt
to
do
that,
though.
