The view is just breathtaking. I was in one of the beach-facing bungalows with the waves lapping no more than 20 metres from the end of the bed. To see the sunrise and the moonrise from your bed, as well as to see the traditional Dhow fisherman sail by every now and then was just magical. Sublime, even. In general the accommodation was excellent value for money and very much in line with the standards in Zanzibar. I stayed at Mnana for 8 nights and while the food was excellent (especially the seafood) it did get a bit repetitive by the very end. There were frequent power cuts (beyond the control of Mnana) which meant that there were some times during my stay where the air conditioning, WiFi and hot water did not work. This wasn't so much of an issue though as I was not there to surf the internet but to enjoy the view. I would definitely come back.

I loved this little spot. Tucked right on the beach, each bungalow has a view of the crystal clear water. The grounds are beautiful and look exactly like the photos. They have so many great lounging spots including several hammocks and hanging beds. As a solo female traveler I felt safe safe and Mohammed and his team were very helpful. They booked a reservation for me at The Rock, as well as a snorkeling tour, and transportation to the airport when I left. The food was okay but there are plenty of other restaurants and hotels to chose from in the vicinity.
