This
is
a
wonderful
museum
of
music
boxes,
automatic
piano
and
organs,
toys,
clocks,
pictures
and
puppets
with
music
and
lots
of
old
gramophones,
wax
cylinders,
etc.
It
is
possibly
the
most
complete
collection
that
traces
the
history
of
music
machines
and
sound
recording.
The
most
amazing
thing
is
that
it
is
a
private
collection
of
Luis
Cangueiro,
who
explains
the
items
with
passion
in
guided
tours
3:30p.m.
during
the
weekend.
It
is
recommended
to
visit
in
weekends
that
you
can
hear
the
automatic
instruments
played
instead
of
listening
to
sound
recordings.
There
are
also
temporary
exhibitions
and
workshops
sometime.
The
museum
is
a
bit
far,
that
you
need
to
drive
or
take
a
train
to
the
station
Pinhal
Novo.
Outside
of
the
train
station
there
is
a
taxi
stand
where
you
can
find
phone
numbers
to
call
a
taxi,
and
the
museum
is
about
10-15
mins
drive
from
the
station.
