A place to remember the Sri Lankan Robin Hood (Saradiel). It is an enjoyable, educational and humours place. Nice atmosphere to enjoy. We can having a great explanation of Saradiel's history using statues. The whole theme based on the stories of Saradiel. Tour guides are explain Saradiel's story step by step. About 6 acres of area has been used to create this 19th century traditional village. Built with cement. Statues make you feel they are really alive. Large number of local and foreign tourists visit this palce to see the legends brought back life. Saradiel was a hero to the villagers of his area. Saradiyel was distributed money that he stole from the rich among the poor and need people. Uthuwankanda is the place of his hiding place. Highly recommended you to go with kids.

Nice and affordable place to spend your day. It's the recreation of of a Sri Lankan village. In the village there are guides to explain the life of Saradiel and the traditional village. There is a pool but you have to climb some stairs to get there. Overall it was a good experience.
