I stayed in green view for almost two weeks. I would have definitely stay more. It's such a dream to wake up surrounded by such green, peaceful, dreamy vibes. It's the perfect place to relax and breathe. But also, it is located next to many amazing sights that make you fall in love with Sri Lanka even more. Everyone who works there is absolutely amazing. Ready to help, gift you a genuine smile and have a chat with you. I'd totally recommend this place!

We stayed in Green view for 2 nights. Great location - just a few minutes walking from the start of the path towards Adam's peak! Lovely host, very welcoming, available and helpful. The tripple room was basic but ok for the price. Rice and curry was delicious as well as breakfast! The only downside is the noise from the speakers on the street (one night until 11pm, and one morning from 6am). We couldn't get proper rest, which was a problem because of the hike.

Friends and myself stayed at Sakula's place for 2 nights. This natural nature, family feel, bed and breakfast was just what was needed after a long 6hr train ride from Ella. Everything from the breakfast(which was included) to the lunches and dinner(for a extra small fee)was phenomenal!We got picked up from the train station which was nice for a low cost. He has a few dogs on the property which he rescued and they were soo friendly and sweet. His staff was more than helpful with any request we had. Sakula is also a Gem dealer. I was able to purchase a few Beautiful sapphires which I'm extremely happy about. And a Great price! We choose the elephant walk for a side activity booked thru Green View. Her name is Mahlee & were able to bath, feed and walk with her. A gentle giant! Overall I would definitely stay here again!

What a lovely place to stay. We arrived on my other half birthday and were welcomed into the wooden tree-house bedroom where they had hung lots of birthday balloons which was a lovely surprise. The owner, Sakula, wasn't there when we arrived, but his father went out of his way to welcome us and pick us up from Pinnawala, despite speaking little English. We ended up getting a lift with some family friends on their way home from work - which we enjoyed as we wanted to get to know the local culture. We had dinner in the restaurant which has associations with the home stay - it was their third day of opening their new extension and the manager was so excited to be serving me dinner on my birthday. The room was comfortable to stay in. We chilled out for hours before bed and then had a laugh when we found a baby frog in the sink where we had forgotten to close the sink plug. Very much a tree house feel! The family invited us into their dining room for breakfast, where they'd cooked up a feast of a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and Sakula told us all about his plans for developing the property. We look forward to going back one day to see how he is getting on!

Quiet room but squeacky floor. Shower curtain could use an upgrade. Swimming pool basic. Diner okay, breakfast pretty good. They also offer nice day trips.

I enjoyed every moment when the staying in their spectacular new cottage. Good view. Wonderful host. relaxing environment. great local breakfast best value.
