This
place
definitely
is
spacious
and
you’d
get
the
flavor
of
how
elephant
riding
will
be
in
different
landscapes.
The
riding
packages
are
available
from
2500
LKR
priced
depending
on
how
long
would
the
elephant
ride
would
be.
We
took
the
longest
ride
(30
mins)
which
costed
5000
LKR
per
head.
No
matter
how
many
ppl
ride,
the
amount
is
gonna
be
pwr
head
and
you’d
end
up
on
the
same
elephant.
However,
package
includes
riding
elephant
back
In
a
little
stream,
a
garden,
a
forestry
area,
and
to
a
paddy
field.
The
view
is
amazing
and
the
feeling
is
priceless.
They
cover
the
entire
ride
with
photos
and
videos
so
you
don’t
have
to
worry
about
taking
pictures
and
can
totally
enjoy
the
ride.
At
the
stream,
you
get
the
chance
to
have
a
shower
from
the
elephant
which
is
optional
but
I’d
highly
recommend
doing
that!
There
is
a
mini
museum
that
houses
remains
of
a
dead
elephant
who
lived
92
years
and
also
they
have
an
elephant
tooth
you
can
have
a
look
at.
For
feeding
the
elephants
you
will
have
to
buy
fruits
separate
which
is
not
that
expensive.
However,
sad
to
mention
that
the
mahouts
and
caretakers
do
expect
you
to
tip
them
in
large
and
won’t
stop
asking
for
it
until
you
develop
a
headache.
We
went
on
an
early
morning
like
9am
and
the
place
was
less
crowded
also
if
you
are
visiting
Pinnawela
off-season
(when
kandy
Perahera
happens
in
August)
its
highly
unlikely
you
get
to
place
with
an
elephant
you
can
ride
on.
We
had
to
pass
by
several
places
and
only
these
guys
had
elephants
for
riding.
Therefore
this
is
a
good
place
at
odd
times.
Overall,
I
won’t
complain
how
much
we
had
to
pay,
the
experience
was
too
nice.
