Wonderful place. We came with friends here for dinner, loved the atmosphere. We enjoyed the delicious Indo Chinese food. Excellent customer service and staff Vivian was very attentive and helpful he also helped with taking our group picture. There's also plenty of room for bigger groups here. Drinks were too expensive just for one can £3 🤔 Other than that everything was great.

Indo- Chinese cuisine is great food fusion when it's prepared carefully. Hakkaland was great disappointment me and my friends. Hakkaland is located right on Harrow high street apposite to McDonalds. Very informal service , zero percentage Chinese authenticy to this place. Everything is Indian here, the beverage , staffs and spirits as well. We ordered chicken 65, prawn salt & pepper , Soup and also Calcutta fried rice. We got scared with the size of chicken65 it was huge , it was pakora batter with red food coloring fried. And pawns was just ok. Huge disappointment was the rice , tasteless and I didn't understand why it was called Calcutta fried rice. We want to complain the staff there however didn't bother after seeing the old guy manager attitude. They have party hall upstairs, may be fit in 50 to 60 people. It's n Frist floor. There is dedicated parking so you have to find one. I think Resturant go carried away after being so long ,definitely not going back there.

This used to be our favourite place for dinner earlier. After a year went recently, but couldn’t get same taste. Food was oily and taste was okay. Parking easily available at road side and restaurant was empty since we went on a weekday, mostly take away.

Have been visiting this place for past 3-4 yrs now. Food at this place could be hit or miss. Also it is slightly priced higher as compared to other restaurants in the area. For e.g a tin of coke and Pepsi cost us £7 alone, which is a total rip off. We ordered hot and sour soup (quantity just enough for 1 person) , chicken wantons in schezwan sauce - which was delicious, Hakka noodles - were lil dry , veg Manchurian - was tasty , chilli chicken dry - it was super dry nd chicken was a bit hard to chew , we couldn't eat that dish and just asked to take that dish away. Ambience is good.

We came here to eat with a big group of 15 people who are vegetarian and non vegetarian. The food was great! Mushrooms were absolutely delicious! We asked for everything mild and we could taste great flavours in all the food! Food was definitely freshly prepared and portion sizes are reasonable. Restaurant is very clean and family friendly. All the staff are welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again!

I would highly recommend Hakkaland for Indo Chinese cuisine. The ambience was decent but could be improved. The food was excellent with no complaints, and the service was quick.

My friends and I spent almost 2 hours there, we had the most amazing food. All the ordered food was freshly cooked and to its perfection with perfect portion sizes ..the chef deserves all the praise. The only drawback was a service charge of 12.5% which very few restaurant charge in harrow. Otherwise, a very good place if you after quality food. The portions are very generous too. Go for it and you will not regret!

Went with my cousins, was a good family meal. They have good vegetarian options and food is tasty. We tried about 7-8 items and they were all good or excellent. Negative points: it is a bit expensive compared to the other restaurants in the area and paid about £20 per head without drinks and we shared our meal. Also the non vegetarian food can be stinky and the air ventilation doesn't clear the smell very quick so can be off-putting. Overall still recommend going there.

This is my 3rd visit at this place. The first time was an anniversary and we found the food to be using the same base for the curries or sauces and all they did was change the spice levels so not good. The second time was a work Christmas party and the food somehow was much better as if they changed the chef. I loved it. Now the third time I ended up with food poisoning and the noodle dish my friend had was a complete sloppy mess. The momos which took forever to come were tasteless. The lemon and garlic prawn was OK but too spicy. The chicken kung pao was average. We thought it was over priced. I was impressed that they serve limca and thumbs up and that was a nice reminiscing of India! All in all with poor food being served on 2/3 occasions I can only give this two stars and an average of 3 star.

We had a booking here at 1.30pm (Saturday) for a reunion of friends coming to Harrow from outside of London. The lady that served us (with plenty of attitude), warned that kitchen was closing, almost as soon as we ordered food. There was no mention of this when the booking was made. We ordered drinks, about 6 starters and a main each. It was beyond belief that the restaurant expected us to consume this under 30 minutes, as the food was ordered within about 15 mins of being seated and ordering drinks. The lady then brought the bill to us with a further warning that restaurant was closing. We were not even halfway through with the food. We were then compelled to pack the food to take away. We refused to pay service charge which was deducted later as if the owner was doing us a favour. After much argument and unpleasant exchanges, 10% was deducted off the bill with great reluctance. The owner kept justifying their closure time saying that it was known to regular customers in the neighbourhood (?) He also said, normally when people start eating at 1, they finish by 1.30 here. We ordered food to a value exceeding £135. The owner's implication was that we gobble up all this food in half an hour (?) We are shocked that people with this attitude are allowed to continue business. These guys have not heard of customer service. They are just greedy for getting as much business as possible. They literally dumped the food and bill on us. Non verbal message was to take it and get lost. Our sincere advice to you is to avoid this nasty restaurant at all costs. Hakkaland is a disgrace to Harrow. We hope Harrow Council takes note.

Best restaurant I was invited by my family members, I liked it a lot. Best chicken dishes I tasted here. I'm thankful of staff Sam, he was very attentive to us. Ambience was pretty good. We clicked photos also, sam was the one who clicked it. Everything was great.

The food and staff were really good, just hoped the atmosphere would have been a little better. I think i’m being a bit fussy when I say that the cutlery was mismatched. Nonetheless the food was good and will definitely reorder perhaps for a takeaway! I recommend the Schezwan Chicken noodles :) I have docked 2 stars because some of the glasses were a bit dirty and upstairs was a state. The men’s didn’t have a toilet seat and the ladies was filthy :(

This is definately a place for those craving Indo-chinese dishes. Chicken lollipop is super yummy however the food colour used in it is a bit too much. The ambience is good, parking is easily available. The service is bit slow. Other dishes we enjoyed was chicken wanton, kungpao chicken and egg fried rice

Had been with friends for dinner on Wednesday night and had an absolutely great time! Delicious food, superb ambience and a very friendly and attentive staff. Place has been kept very clean . For Wednesday night the restaurant was full which was surprising to me as all the places usually are quiet on weekdays nearby as I am local . Keep up the quality, standard of food and service

I came with my friends over here, it's great resturant. I enjoyed a lot. I would like to talk about service, it was excellent and staff Sam was very smart. He was helpful too. I loved Ambience a lot. I had Chinese best taste ever.

Food is pretty average and the efforts to make it colourful was not appreciated. The two starters we ordered were very oily. Service was good however the fact that food arrived within 5-6 mins of ordering did not give me a good feeling about the freshness of the raw materials used!

I've been there twice, the first one was good , loved the food, the service ,everything. So we decided to go for the second time and ordered two of the dishes from the first visit but it was totally the opposite and so became our last time. Consistency is lacking and orders should be delivered accurately as it seems from our last visit we came to know that the first time ordered was wrongly delivered . We ate what was served to us as food shouldn't be wasted. The first time kolkatta chicken chilli was good , but the second time it was too dry and hard. Chicken momo wasnt good as well

Food was good but NOT authentic. I am born and brought up in Mumbai and it annoys me to see peas used in Chinese dishes here in UK (trust me it annoys all my Indian friends as well so don't tell me Indians in UK like it and hence they use it). NO Indo-Chinese joint in India uses peas. The Manchow soup was ok, Schezwan Rice and Noodles were good, Machurian was also nice but again very big and somewhat uncooked from the inside.

Was expecting great food from this "restaurant", unfortunately we were thoroughly disappointed 😞. We Orderd 4 starters, one was completely inedible due to the excessive amount of salt in the dish, and the other 3 were way below average and cooked in the same sauce. Beers on the menu were not available, which is is a bummer as it goes hand in hand with spicy Indian food (which non of it was, even though stated). Will not be returning.

Had a craving for Chinese and thought I'd try this place. Bitterly disappointed with the fee mein chicken. It was very greasy and lacked flavour. The chicken was chewed and coated in batter which didn't work. Won't be going here again.

We went for dinner and saw the reviews but then decided to give it a try, and truly we were not disappointed. It was truly the taste we wanted to try. The samosa chat is absolutely fantastic, veg Manchurian has some scope to improve, we had hakka noodles as well, and they are how we had in India but they can reduce the oil use. We also had kadhai paneer and tandoori roti and plain naan. It was truly good. We look forward to visiting again.

After hearing great things for a long time, finally went to this restaurant. Firstly, I was surprised at how quiet the place was for a Friday evening, but the restaurant was clean and ambience was ok. I was then surprised at the menu - its basic Indian restaurant fodder with some Indo-Chinese dishes thrown in at the back of the menu. The chicken & sweetcorn soup was bland, but the Hakka noodles and chilli chicken was tasty. But what left a sour taste in the mouth was the service from an extremely rude and dismissive waiter. Their menu is clearly split into “Starters” and “Mains”. In any restaurant (unless they specifically state that dishes come out as and when they’re ready), you expect to be served your starters, finish it, and then your mains brought out. I went with 2 children, who aren’t the fastest of eaters. We were served our starters, which was hot (soup), and then within minutes, our mains were brought out. When I questioned why that was the case and told them the children hadn’t even eaten their starters because it was still hot, the waiter turned rude and told me I should have told him that I wanted my starters and mains served separately, and that apparently it also depends on how busy the kitchen is! He made no apology, didn’t seem bothered and tried to insinuate that somehow it was my fault for not telling him. And then they have the cheek to add on a discretionary 9% service charge to the bill. All in all, food was ok, but I won’t be in a rush to return (probably never), as I can get indo Chinese food elsewhere and the service was poor. Sad, as I had looked forward to eating at this restaurant for many years and felt let down by the experience of my first ever visit.

Always my favorite place for indo Chinese cuisine. They customize the food as per your preference if you like it spicy or mild. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. Excellent overall vibes . Shall I go back again .YES

Front of house service appalling! Food totally delicious! And a nice environment. Prices a little high but really worth it for the taste. Lots of oil and msg so not the healthiest but my goodness does it taste divine. Also a nice take on Chinese cuisine with a slant on the more usual dishes you might expect to find!

I ordered chicken hot & sour soup, veg manchurian (gravy style), chicken hakka noodles. The veg. manchurian was separate from the gravy. I have never seen this before. The veg. looked like pakora which was stale. Secondly the hakka noodles were like chop suey. I called and explained my disappointment. The owner seemed to be away. I would expect better quailty and authentic indian chinese from Hakkaland.
