One of the worst experiences ever. Really rude staff, even racists. After one hour of waiting for the restaurant to open they invited us to go out, smiling. All tables free and with a sarcastic and childish smile, from the owner, we were expelled just because. After this really strange behavior we pointed out how bad he was and that he shouldn’t treat costumers like that and he insulted us. So I wouldn’t go with racists for food. They don’t even know what the name of the restaurant means. Really bad! The worst!

I don't know about the food quality! The waitress was so rude that we left the place immediately! There are enough nice restaurants with polite staff nearby!

All the personnel was super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual with a very old German aesthetic. Their beer and drink selection is varied and everything we had we loved. Food was very good, except the pasta with shrimp was a bit too heavy on the pesto. Will return

Very nice and cosy place close to the Pirna market place. Great food, especially the red beets soup was delicious. Locally brewed beer and good and very quick service. But best of all is the atmosphere resembling an old castle basement.

Near town square in Pirna. Ate there 2 times and drinks 1 evening in the lovely garden. Great food and they have an English menu too. Very good service. Stayed in Pirna at Pension Donatus for a week while in town for a wedding and this place was around the corner.
