WOW! Das war unerwartet Hammer! Da wir schon früher als gedacht Hunger hatten sind wir zur Öffnung hier hineingestolpert. Wir wurden sofort herzlich begrüßt und hatten freie Platzwahl. Nach dem studieren der Karte hatten wir 2 Sonderwünsche die sofort angenommen wurden. Das Essen war einfach der Oberknaller. Bratkartoffeln mit Ei und Jagdwurst (meine Leibspeise) und Ofenkartoffel mit Sahnehering für die Frau. Es war absolut köstlich. Genau das haben wir nach einem Wandertag gebraucht. Die Wirtin ist ein Goldstück und das Ambiente exzellent! Selten haben wir uns so wohl gefühlt und köstlich, eben wie bei Muddern, gespeist! Die Preise sind absolut Top! Durch Zufall entdeckt und wurde sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen schmeckte vorzüglich und bereitete uns einen kulinarischen Erlebnis. Die Wirtin war nett und freundlich, ebenso der Koch. Beide haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und zeigten professionelle Kompetenz. Wir waren satt und zufrieden. Auf jeden Fall empfehlen wir jedem einen Besuch in der Wirtschaft.

Spontaner Besuch, Reservierung per Email geklappt. Trotz das zum Freitag alle Tische besetzt waren, war keine lange Wartezeit. Die Gerichte waren wieder toll angerichtet, wir hatten Hirschgulasch, Steak "Zeus" und Schnitzel und es hat wie immer super lecker geschmeckt. Solid dishes for a resturant. The meals where pretty good and good value for money. The meals are nothing fancy or elaborate, hence the term solid. The service was outstanding and a big plus for the location. Also, they have a rather well equipped playroom for kids, if that is relevant. The design of the dining room is cozy but a bit all over the place, when it comes to the theme. Still welcoming and warm.

A German kitchen dream! The food is Just amazing and the Restaurant let you enjoy the typical German dishes especially from saxony Region with a lovely waitress and an amazing Guy inside the kitchen. The ambient is cozy. We visited the Restaurant twice within 2 days and we would have continued but we live elsewhere so we enjoyed every Second! Next Time when I am in Pirna this ist the place to eat! Prices are moderate and worth every Cent! Reservation is not needed but recommended. Thanks to the amazing waitress and the very talented Cook! Also the conversations where interesting and showed the Love for the Restaurant.

Four of us from England dined here last Wednesday, 13th September. Lovely place with great atmosphere & ambience, decorations were terrific! Thoroughly enjoyed the food & were made so welcome by the landlady & her husband (the chef)! Finished off the night having a drink with them! It’s a great place to go!
